Watch the beach fight again, Johnny pushes Daniel with the radio, Daniel came at Johnny twice and just sweeped him, Daniel came at him again and Johnny gave him one kick to ground him, then half taunted but also checking if it was finished, then Daniel sucker punched him, only then did Johnny let loose. So imo that was pretty self defence based and reserved use of Karate for the most part, especially for an angry teen. Of course Johnny hated Daniel after and wanted to make his life hell... high schoolers or even men are hella protective and amped when it comes to girls. Johnny also had a trouble up bringing according to this series' narrative. But he was never a straight bully, thug or all that. So it makes sense he has sense and deeper considerations at times. Here Johnny is the one who wants the scenario to dissipate but Daniel only wants his way. Perhaps Daniel's success during adulthood and likely being in control and having his way has increased his ignorance to other's point of views and arrogance.
I don't think the pressure point technique was really necessary at this point. The best moment for Daniel to use that was against Terry Silver, but because he wasn't thinking straight when fighting Terry, he ended up losing the battle.

But it was enough to return to training for a month to reach Daniel's level and draw in this fight? If it was realistic, the real Daniel would sweep the floor with Lawrence.
I totally get what you mean. As being a martial artist myself it’s really from that muscle memory of doing hundreds of times over and over. Even with Daniel techniques they were fast enough to actually be useful during a tournament.
Well, in that case Cobra Kai should’ve won both trophies. Robby and Tory were training a lot more than Hawk (the guy who gained his confidence in the last moment with a kiss) and Sam )being unstable and unbalanced the whole season). It’s the script.

Hawk used Johnny's takedown that was used against the pressure point tech in this fight that Hawk went on to use to beat Robby in the All valley
This show is better than it has any right to be.
2:40 a secret move that worked on Daniel and Kreese, but NOT Johnny, that's why I believe Johnny will always be the superior fighter. Johnny would even hold his own against Chozen and Mike Barnes
Daniel held his own against Johnny, but could not hold his own again Chozen, but Mike Barnes held his own against Chozen, so that says otherwise. So if Daniel held his own against Johnny but could not against Chozen, that means Chozen is a better fighter than Daniel and Johnny and if Mike held his own against Chozen but Daniel couldn't who held his own against Johnny that means Mike is a better fighter than Daniel and Johnny too.
Wrong back in day Mike would have bitch slapped Johnny back to Receda
I truly hope this is the very last time those 2 fight it out. It just gets tiring seeing those 2 scrap it out all of the damn time.
I want them to fight so Johnny beats daniel
What about Mike Barnes vs Johnny for point match in S6 who would win?
Mike "f**king Barnes 🔥💪🏽
@@thejay3804 yeah cause he’s a 10th Dan black belt and he’s a professional karate national championship
Mike Barnes
@@manuellim6284you sure? Martial arts historians and google says that 10th degree is a reserved belt for the grand master. Mike Barnes is too young to be one
@@kermit1211 not in real life
This is basically what would have happened in 1984 if Kreese hadn’t told Bobby and Johnny to fight dirty.
6:05=There's just some random blonde hair girl in the background.
That's not a girl, it's Erling Haaland bro
This is always going to be the most badass scene out of all the seasons ❤
4:42 “dousing the fire with gasoline?” Foreshadowing Chozen? 🤔
I like how their opposites yet both are right. It's a polarity thing like piccolo & kami.
3:49 Okay...we'll call it a draw. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣
Daniel is the reason they lost the tournament (besides the Silver paying the ref). They countered all the Miyagi-Do moves. Once they fought aggressive, Cobra Kai was shook and couldn't beat them because they trained against Miyagi defense.
At 3:02 that’s the same move Hawk uses to beat Robby in the finals
The pressure point should of disqualified Daniel and I'm usually on his side lol
its funny how larusso is actually the bully and johnny was the good guy.
?
One of my favorite shows 💯🔥
Daniel using face app as a grown old man😂 he still looks the same but with wrinkles
Should combine both, the best of both worlds.
A Focused Johnny Lawrence is the most dangerous fighter than all of them.
Haven't watched this show yet but is that what i think it is behind Johnny at 0:03
If it is mr miyagis house / dojo that you are referring to then yes
Spiky leaves
Spiky leaves yes I thought it was something else.
Alright guys for those who don’t know about the fight between Daniel and Johnny go to 3:49 puts the speed to 0.25 and it will show you that Johnny won Johnny landed the punch before Daniel kicked him in the face.
This reboot could have been so good but the dumb drama and unlikely misunderstandings really took away from it.
Does anyone know the song that plays during this fight?
Funny thing about the pressure point technique is in this fight it was just over the top, pretty sure he could've gone for a straight punch for a point instead and won as the technique is only really suited for real fights where you need to stop your enemy from being able to continue doing harm without harming them beyond reason, here there are refs and both are fighting according to rules so they'll stop with each clean hit.
Ralph never aged...❤
I hope that ralph macchio can still kick high, at least a high front kick. He didn't throw any high kicks in season 5 except for the last one
He is 60. Believe me when you get old you can’t do nearly as much as you did decades ago
I've just noticed that Johnny and hawks point were very similar when Johnny scored the second point
Funny part is these guys got alot of time to do karate in this busy world hahahah .
Johnny's a professional SenSei. Daniel's just a used car salesman.
@@miguelpasamano4995 . But Daniel is a better father a good guy .and a good family man .
It’s like they love and hate each other equally
daniel kinds ticks me off here, he, better than anybody, knows the importance of fighting back to defend self and others...true sometimes fighting is not the answer but sometimes it is the only answer
Johnny the bad ass forever love him.❤❤❤❤❤
Daniel and Johnny face to face each other
Larusso body hit first so would that mean Johnny won this fight? It's so close u need slo mo haha but I loved this fight brought back serious nostalgia from years ago.
