BTS actually has 3 rappers: RM, J-Hope and Suga (also known as as Agust-D). If you want to just hear the rap line, they do have cyphers from years ago that are really popular and they each have solo projects.
For those new to RM: RM is a South Korean rapper born 1994 and he's currently doing his mandatory military service and will be back in June 2025. Before RM started his military service in December 2023 he was really busy working on his latest solo album so that might be why he didn't have time to be in this MV but it's probably because he had already left for the military before it was filmed. Everything that has come out after Dec 2023 he recorded before he enlisted. RM's latest album, released in May 2024, a few months after he left, is called *'Right Place, Wrong Person'.* If you wanna check out more from RM he released MV's to the songs 'Nuts', 'Domodachi' (feat. Little Simz), 'Groin', 'Lost' and 'Right People, Wrong Place' off his latest album. The whole album is great and worth a listen. Moses Sumney is also a feature on one track. The album was recognized as one of the best albums of the first half of the year 2024 by Rolling Stone, Billboard, The Associated Press, and NME. Billboard wrote _"RM simply refuses to acknowledge the existence of any such boundaries over these 34 minutes, with 11 songs that careen from hip-hop to jazz to punk to R&B to Fela Kuti-styled Afrobeats - while all still sounding like a coherent and natural artistic extension of one man's creative vision"._ He also has two previous mixtapes *'RM'* released 2015 and *'Mono'* released in 2018 and another solo album called *'Indigo'* released in 2022 where he had features like Anderson Paak and Erykah Badu. He's also recorded with Warren G, Wale, Juice WRLD, Tablo of Epik High, Tiger JK and Fall Out Boy, just to name a few. RM is a great songwriter so remember to *turn on the CC for English subtitles* when you check out his other work because he often switches between English and Korean. His name is Kim Namjoon also often called Joon. He went by the stage name Rap Monster before but now just RM. He started out as an underground rapper when he was 13, was signed to Big Hit in 2010 and is the leader of the 7 member group BTS since their debut in 2013. He is BTS main songwriter and writes for other artists too and has credits as songwriter on over 200 tracks. *(all BTS member are involved in writing and producing their music and all 7 (3 rappers & 4 vocalists) have released their own solo projects as singles, mixtapes and albums. Their names are Jin, SUGA/Agust D, j-hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook.). And BTS MV's has gotten over 100 million views in under 24 hours and they always millions of views in a day on their music videos so don't be surprised that Neva Play gets views when you have both Meg and Joon on it. Meg was a feature on a remix of BTS song 'Butter' and came up and performed it with them on stage on one of BTS last stadium concerts as a group before they started on their latest solo projects and then enlisting. BTS will be back working as a group in 2025 when all members have been discharged from the military. As of yet only one member, Jin, have finished his service and one more, j-hope, will be discharged next month (October 2024), the other 5 enlisted later and will be discharged in June 2025. BTS fanbase is called ARMY.
Im not a BTS fan at all but I reaaaaaally reccomend listening to DDAY by Suga or whatever his name is now i think Augustd. Its so hard bruh. Rm is good too
RM is good too??? RM is great Rapper ofcourse Suga is great Rapper j-hope also great rappor but RM also great Rapper so shhh and go to hell fucking solo
BTS do a range of genres, some of it is super pop but they have hip hop tracks too and a lot of different genre fusions. You might like songs like UGH, Tear and Hip Hop Lover. The 3 rappers all have various solo albums/mixtapes as well which I highly recommend! RM's 'Right Place Wrong Person' is one of my top albums of 2024 it's 🔥🔥🔥
RM solo tracks both old and recent tracks. Do You, Monsta (Lyric Video), Joke (with English subtitles), Still Life (feat Anderson Paak), Groin BTS as a whole is 🔥 Three rappers and four vocalists. Rappers J Hope Recommend - On The Street (with J Cole), Arson, Neuron AgustD- Daechwita, Haegum, Amigdala, AgustD The rap line cyphers 2-4 a must. They are lyric videos though but you can also check out the Cypher Medley live version after 🎤🔥 🔥 BTS Tracks - Mic Drop, ON Kinetic😂 Manifesto Film Come Prima, Black Swan The vocalists solo tracks are also on point with the youngest member Jungkook featuring Usher on his single Standing Next To You and remix with Justin Timberlake and Jack Harlow 3D. He Also has Latto on another track Seven. Megan also did a remix on their Butter which you can check out, it’s a dance version. She doesn’t appear on it and only has the three main dancers from the group. They are very diverse and started off as a hip hop group so all their early tracks are hip hop influenced. Check out Hop Hip Phile, Born Singer just to name a few The only advice I can give is that you react with an open mind. They are not just another KPop group. BTS are a genre of their own, like RM said “they paved the way”
I really love the creative direction Megan is taking in her latest videos and I love the animation style for this 😭 Some of my fav lines "So dope, tryna make me take a pee test" and "Beefing with yourself because you don't exist in my world". And she had a anime & wrestling reference in there too, she really is such a nerd and i love that so much. And I do like RM but I couldnt understand him well here but I can't lie he slid on this, just not one of my fav verses from him. For RM I'd say check out Domodachi or Nuts which are recent releases. Though my favorite songs are Around the World in a Day and Out of Love. Pretty sure BTS has 3 rappers. Not sure if you listened to Megan's entire album, but if you can give Rattle & BAS a listen!
As the old saying goes "Don't knock it till you try it" give BTS rap line a listen and you may be surprised. Listen to BTS Hip Hop Lover to get an idea of the group
Nah you definitely need to react to BTS!!!! They got music in lots of different genres though so not all of them might be for you. There are three rappers - RM, Suga (Agust D) and J-hope. Four vocalists - Jungkook, Jimin, V, Jin. If you like rap/hiphop (I'm judging off of this one video of yours only because it's abt a hiphop song lol) then I recommend checking out their solo stuff. RM and Suga were underground rappers before they joined BTS and they been knoooown about the culture. atp bts go beyond kpop because their music doesn't always typically fit the industry, especially their solo work Rap album recs: - RM's album: "right place wrong person" (also his album "Indigo" that released in 2022, but I'd start with the first one mentioned because it's my favorite and was released this year. It goes more the alternative route. hiphop, indie-pop) - Agust D's (Suga) album: "D-Day", as well as his mixtape "D-2" (his albums/mixtapes usually have elements of trap and drill, but also a few select of ballad/pop-ish type of songs with rap? sounds like a random mix but it's great). D-Day was actually the 4th best selling hiphop album (in its first selling week) in the US for this past decade. - J-hope's album: "Jack in the box" (old school hiphop, grunge and pop elements) Honorable mention of music video to react to: Agust D - Daechwita THEY GO HARDDDDDD also their older mixtapes are great too (RM's "Rap Monster", Agust D's "Agust D", J-hope's "Hope World"). Suga (Agust D) is also a producer and self-produces most of his solo songs (some for BTS too, and some for other artists) if you're interested in that. They're all songwriters though, and partake in some producing. BTS songs that I recommend (mostly hiphop but not only): UGH! Cypher 4 Cypher 3 Outro: Tear Black Swan Dis-ease Pied Piper Mic Drop 134340 Ddaeng (you'll need an explaination to understand the meaning behind these lyrics) All Night (Song with Juice WRLD) It's hard to choose because their discography is so diverse and large lol, like if someone were to ask me about their best performances then he list would be quite different. If you do end up reacting to BTS then please don't only do their most globally popular ones Dynamite and/or Butter. They're iconic pop songs but they have so much more depth than these songs. the two were also songs they neither produced or wrote and was more something they released for people to just enjoy happily basically (they're amazing performance-songs though!). Pls deep dive I actually bet that you'll end up enjoying it haha (Doolset has the most accurate translations for lyrics btw)
React to BTS UGH and CYPHER 3 live performance in Busan please, These two songs are sung by the group's rap line. And their stage presence is fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'd really appreciate it if you gave BTS a try, not all of it will be for you but there's some stuff you'll definitely fw. The comments have been pretty good on suggestions. I think you'd really enjoy Suga AKA Agusd
So you can't see yourself reacting to BTS because internalized prejudice I don't mean this in a bad way but you need to think about that and if you do decide to react to RM please go into it with an open mind if you can't have an open mind Army will destroy you if you are rude if you are honest and genuine and come at it from a genuine place of curiosity and wanting to learn you will be welcomed in the appreciated
J-Hope is the rapper in BTS that has JCole as his biggest inspiration/favorite rapper!
RM's inspiration/favorite rapper is Nas!
BTS actually has 3 rappers: RM, J-Hope and Suga (also known as as Agust-D). If you want to just hear the rap line, they do have cyphers from years ago that are really popular and they each have solo projects.

RM has a very good "Joke" job with dirty lyrics and a cool popular instrumental
