21 years ago. Hard to believe that it has been 21 years since this tragedy. tonight we will continue to honor the lives of those lost since the tragic collapse at 2:42am on November 18, 1999
I remember this event. All football was big for Tennessee those years. We gad just won the title in January that year. Leading up to the 99 season the Titans almost won it all. Pretty sure Pat won a title in 98 as well. Those sporting years paved the way for what is now major economic growth of east Tennessee in 2024
Thank you so much for posting, I was only 4 when bonfire collapsed and this game was played. I've of course seen the famed strip-sack, but never seen the full game. You're a real one for this!

We appreciate you, thanks for posting.
I was at this game. 86,000+ people screaming at the top of their lungs and I was one of them. I had no voice after the game.

This rivalry needs to come back.

Oh, it’s going to, Texas is coming to the SEC.
:)
As a Texas Tech fan I will remember the day the bonfire collapsed and killed the 12 A&M students. I’m sorry that they never got to graduate from A&M

Good win Aggies. They look so excited you almost forget they went 8-4 that year
That’s terribly insensitive sir
Still pressed over a game from 1999 😂😂😂🫵
