    Often times people think "Wealth = Freedom". In actually "Lifestyle Choices = Freedom." Once we all realized that we can really live the life that we want. Thanks for sharing your story, Wendy

    I came across your videos earlier this year, while I was researching working in travel and hospitality. Travel is my passion; I was bitten by the travel bug decades ago. After 22 years in the medical field, going at the go, go, go/hustle pace, I was laid off earlier this year. I saw it as a blessing in disguise as I had been looking for a way to get into travel before the pandemic even started. After watching some of your videos, I went to CoolWorks, did a job search, and found and applied for some jobs that caught my interest. Next thing I knew I was being interviewed for these jobs, and got offers. I accepted an offer for the job I thought was the best fit for me. A month after that I headed out of state to start my job for the summer. I did it for five months and loved it. It was such a unique experience. It wasn't without its challenges, but throughout the summer season my employer said I transitioned well into this new field, and even wanted me to come back next season. I told them I wanted to come back. It really opened my eyes and created some opportunities. In a few days I'll be heading out of town again, this time to start work at a resort for the winter. My life has definitely changed, and for the better. Thanks for posting this video.

    Hello! I like your thinking. I started doing seasonal job last year, actually summer job here in Sweden. By the way, i live in Spain. I was unemployed before I got this job, so i registered in employment office in Madrid and they send us email to participate in job fair to find work in other parts of Europe. So, I was hired in a Hotel camping resort. I'm a Cook, so I work in the restaurant. And my boss appointed me to do the Breakfast Buffet And Staff Lunch. I can say that this kind of job is fulfilling. Not so stressful like a regular full time or permanent job. I'm enjoying it. Thanks for your vídeos, I'm appreciating more seasonal Job.

    I'm a square peg trying to fit into a round hole. I don't fit in anywhere, don't have any, or never did have any true friends in life. I'm depressed working with respect with the job I'm doing at the moment, and don't know how long I can keep this full-time employment charade up. I don't watch too much TV, and all I have is the van I've been working on for the last two years. I think it will take me two more years from today to get my van done, and once it's done I will disappear from the big city and go into the mountains somewhere. Maybe I'll go the route of seasonal jobs when the van is ready, and I minimalize. Thanks for the informative video!

      I'm sure that alot of people out there can relate to your situation (including myself). There are alot of people out there just like us, who are extremely depressed and unhappy with living the lives that everyone tells us to live. But forget them! Go out and chase your dreams and goals. It's your life. Live it how YOU want to live it. Nobody else's opinions on how you should live your life really matters in the long run, so why would you let those unhappy people hold you back from doing what your heart desires? Do you!!

      @@forgottentraveller5736 Thank you for your kind reply. We will see where the world ends up after September, and the population around the world, unfortunately, is slowly losing their minds. I would like to go somewhere where there are few to no people, they have caused nothing but problems for me all my life.

    Takes money and time off from a 9-5 job to do the tule of traveling you do. I’m learning a lot from you and this is the way people used to work years ago. They didn’t work their lives off for someone else all year round

    You are an inspiration Timothy. Thank you for sharing your journey, philosophy, and tips. You give me hope that there are alternate ways to live without slaving away in an office for 40+ hours a week; that there is freedom out there if we want it and are willing to make some mental and lifestyle changes. Love these videos.

    hey I’ve been following your videos for a while and I know this is kind of an older one but I have a few questions about seasonal work if you could spare the time. Are some of these places that provide meals accommodating to food allergies? That’s one concern I have about jumping into this lifestyle. I was also wondering if you know any folks who travel for seasonal work in RVs and how that works compared to typical employee housing. looking forward to more videos. You’re an inspiration!

    • @TimothyWard
      @TimothyWard  3 роки тому +2

      Jonathan, I think they are as accommodating as they can be with food allergies. They probably won't be able to make you a special meal everyday but they might be able to warn you when meals contain the ingredients you are allergic to. As far as RV living at a seasonal job I know some jobs do offer RV spots instead of rooms in employee housing.

    What activities or things do you do when you are off at the end of the day during your stay at these locations? Is there any type of transportation offered or shuttles for the employees to go places since most prob don’t bring vehicles? Sounds like a nice way to see the country.
