Class ma man. I pick up my wee Berlingo this Friday, buzzing to convert it - your vids on doing so will be a big help. Looking forward to doing the NC500 myself once the vans complete, all the best for the trip!
Cheers matey. Aye you’ll be buzzing to pick it up and start converting it. They’re different vans but the build principles are pretty much the same. Tbh mate with summer coming I’d strip it out and put the bare essentials in, chuck a mattress In and the trips will let you know what you need and also you get to enjoy the weather rather than being in build mode. Best of luck mate.
Great video mate feels good to have a clear out 👌 I’ve got some of them wind deflectors to go on I hope they go on as easy as yours seemed to 🥹 them clips which way do the spike bits face? Towards the inside of the van or the outside 🙈
Cheers brother. They actually go in quite easy. Just make sure to leave them for a few hours for the window rubber to form round them. The spike part I believe is to the outside, so towards the plastic.
I am thinking of building a mini camper i was curious on the tax if you registered it as a camper or just a van also i think if it is registered as a camper doesn't it have to be like 180mm or something
smoo caves & bone caves are a must. Ard NeakieLime Kilns are worth a visit with a fantastic stopover very close by (our next video). Also, don't be scared to wonder off course a little, you'll get quieter park ups and less people
@@motorhomemavericks1 awesome thanks I’ll add them to the list 😊. I’m hoping it’s not too busy and I miss the summer rush. How is it for shops and petrol stations being open just now?
@RobnDob petrol stations are few and far between but are usually unmanned, so make sure you have a card. There are small shops scattered about but don't expect a wide choice. Thurso, Wick, Ullapool all have decent size supermarkets. Also, make sure you have cash - cash is king in the Highlands
@@motorhomemavericks1 amazing thank you for that. I mostly pay by my phone so I’ll defo be remembering my card and some cash. That would have been one I missed out.
@@RobnDob Ah, you mean the "staccatification" (is that even a word!? 🤔😄) of the dialogue? That's endemic on videos, I've noticed over the past few years! Editing trendz n all that! 😁

It’s registered as a day van. Yeah to class as a camper the bed needs to be 180cm.
Don't forget your smidge for the midges
let me know some tips and places to visit guys for when I get up to the nc500.

I ordered them from eBay. £37.
mmmm . . . serum! 😁
I'm a "Windaes" guy, but a DAW's a DAW!? 🤷♀
😂😂 serum is a synth mate. I was using Logic Pro as my daw.
