Carol & Chris: Congratulations to you guys for your new remarkable video today’s from the Himalayas mountains,Nepal in April of 2023.I wish you guys good LUCK always in peace 2023❤❤❤❤
When Carol was crying, when y'all made it to the top, I started crying! I was so worried about Carol's health, that I was bothered for days, about it. I kept telling my husband, poor Carol, she's not well, and she was crying. Even my husband was worried about her. lol! Y'all are like family we've never met, but hate when you both are not well. This was an excellent video, and I'm glad you are both getting some rest. Prayers and hugs for you, Chris. Sorry you caught Covid🙏❤️
Watching you climb the famous Himalayas, I think the whole process is incredible! It must be difficult to travel in the hail, but the scenery in front of you is amazing! Known as the fairyland closest to heaven in the world, and the last piece of pure land on earth, congratulations on successfully conquering it!! You both did a really great job again, thank you so much for sharing such a great video!👍🥰🙏👏
Glad to know that you're back safe and sound Cris and Carol. That was really a tedious hike to the upper mountains of the Himalayas and I'm sure likewise when going down. One thing for sure, I am happy and thankful that you are showing the rest of the world to us your subscribers/followers. God bless you and take care always.
watching you both overcome the wet and cold and fatigue is something to admire!!! and how you continue to present a calm and collective warmth is amazing…please take care of each other and continue to share your journey. peace!
Watching this from South Africa. Last year I read 'Into thin Air' and have just had an incredible fascination around mountain climbing and the Himalayas since then. I love and do a bit of travelling, and Nepal is truly somewhere that I would want to visit soon. Would also love to trek to the base camp Mardi Himal. Hope you guys enjoy, be safe!
I think this "series" of vlogs have been your best so far - not only the journey (helped by the scenery) but how you put everything together - thanks guys. I (not sure about others) would be interested in how you got from Taiwan to Pokhara - does not have to be long (2 min max) but something along the lines "we left ..., flew ... to ... with... etc. Can't wait for your next. Thanks.
Excelent, you'll have happy memories for the rest of your days. I did the Annapurna circuit 26 years ago and love seeing videos like this, brings back lots of good .memories. thanks
I did the 4 day poon hill loop a few years back. Hired a guide, although not necessary at the time, I wanted to help a local and learn more about their life in Nepal. Made a good friend in the process. During that time I saw several solo travelers ripping off the poor people there, which is probably why this rule now exists. Only downside was that I set a fast pace early, but struggled a bit at the incline. My guide never broke a sweat. I wish I could have just enjoyed the trail more rather than rushing to the next tea house.
We enjoy watching your videos. We have visited many of the same places over the past 4 years and always check to see if you have a video for our destinations. Keep on jumping!
Thanks for the support! My knee got better in about 4-5 days, I just needed to stop walking up and down thousands of steps everyday haha. Covid kicked my ass a bit this time, I had it twice before this but this time it was worse. This time I got a fever and an ear infection which messed with my equilibrium and made me feel nausea when walking even after covid had passed. It probably took about 2 weeks for me to feel back to normal, the previous times it was about 4-5 days and no fever or infection
Your trek has been absolutely incredible! and yes brutal ... Thank you for exploring This amazing hike of 12 days and overcoming all the dangers and perilous situations of the journey - & sharing it with us all. Stay well and continue jumping places 💕🙏🥰
Absolutely beautiful film ... even in the clouds and fog -- boy so rocky underfoot .. you really had to be paying attention. I wonder if that's what blew your knee out .. too much constant, up / down / Uneven pressure being placed on the legs and feet -- Hope you healed. Most Enjoyable!! Nice and Chill
We get excited when we see you guys have posted, you always take us on a visual and informative trip that can't be beat, we are big fans of southeast asia watched your videos from all over there a couple of times, but your Himalayan journey just might have outdone asia, great stuff, hope you keep them coming, you guys need to rest up and then knock it out of the ballpark again, thanks to you both. Carol, you are fearless and fabulous! Hats off to Chris for having the strength and oxygen to narrate every step of your trek 👏👏 Through his lens, we saw how beautiful Nepal is. Wow! Incredibly harsh journey but your strength and resilience conquered it! This journey is not for the faint of heart.. if you can do this you can do anything Chris and Carole 😊 Congrats and I hope you get your well deserved rest 🥰
Thank you again for sharing your beautiful hard work. I can see when you're up in those little villages it's kinda magical. You end up being in a Transe, almost like being in a dream. All the animals on the trail just walking by, the Majestic mountains, and the sheer beauty is so mesmerizing. I would say it's the purity of your surroundings that grabs you because we are all not used to being around it. You even mentioned that when you came back to town. When watching this video reminded me of how we are all so engulfed with technology. All the modern conveniences today have detached us all from who we really are. The more there is the less we are. I was watching a video on a Gal that works her father's cattle ranch in the U.S. state of Nebraska almost by herself and stays away from cell phones and the internet. She does travel a lot spread out over the year. She says it makes her appreciate coming home. Take Care.

Looking forward to the 'packing list' video. I noticed that both off you used only one hiking pole each. Was it because you needed the other hand free for the GoPro /camera? Had it not been for the camera would you have benefited from each using two poles?
Another great video! Chris and Carol, I don’t think there was anything wrong with the ponchos. I think the water was coming from condensation which formed between your warm jackets and the cold air. The plastic doesn’t breathe so it collects the water vapor on the underside of the poncho which then soaks into your clothing. Gore-tex allows the material to be waterproof and breathe at the same time, minimizing the effect of the condensation (but it still happens if you’re doing heavy hiking). Great video again!
