You shared a great series first, and then taught everyone how to prepare before the trip, really thoughtful!
I believe that your travel experience and knowledge will definitely help many people!
Thank you very much for your guidance and sharing. Happy travels! 👍🥰❤🙏
The whole series was truly appreciated, amazing picturesque scenes and so much more, love the friendship/relationship/cooperation of both Carole and Chris-- perfect partners :) Hope to see more of your adventures, in fact where to next? El Nido? somewhere beachy and warm hehe
Thank you Chris and Carol being an older couple we really enjoy your trips, travels and videos we have learned so much😊 also from one of your trips awhile ago we have booked a trip to Curaçao for our 50th anniversary and staying at Scuba Lodge 😊 thank you for all your information.
Nice! We really loved Curaçao, really laid back vibe there and still to this day we have never seen water the same as that Curaçao blue color :D
Chris & Carol:Thanks you guys so much for this new remarkable video from Nepal for you guys to hikes around these small many mountains in Nepal for the past two weeks in April of 2023.I wish you guys the BEST always in peace on these great journeys 2023❤❤❤❤❤
Hi guys. Thanks for the packing info. Have you guys heard of Merino wool for minimalist packing? It dries quickly and wicks away moisture. It also doesn’t stink and doesn’t need washing regularly. Keeps you warm in cold and keeps you cool in warm. Susie.
You two are awesome! Congratulations for an exceptional experience shared, and all the details in this video. So much appreciated. Superb photography throughout and I'm just happy that it all went well. It seems you recovered quickly from Covid, which is great. Thanks. Enjoy the journey to your next exploration.
Chris & Carol: I really LOVE your previous videos that were released in Taipei, Taiwan last Month or March in 2023.I wish you guys the BEST always in great joy April of 2023❤❤❤❤
When I did ABC I tried to not over pack. I enjoyed seeing what’s in your bag! Wipes to take a bath and thick socks were a must have for me. Happy Travels!
Thanks!
What an epic trip and video series! Idk how you managed to keep filming, and with such high quality, while you were so physically and mentally taxed. Brilliant job, and also with the editing… I really felt like I experienced the journey with you, without the suffering. 😂 Anyone who might have thought you were just ‘beach softies’ saw your strength, endurance, and resilience taking on this challenge. Bravo!
Thank you Chris n Carol for your beautiful videos always..Thanks for taking me along❤😂
Very nice video. We did Everest Base Camp a few years ago and enjoyed it very much. I'm glad you pointed out how cold the rooms are. Most people don't realize that. We did Kilimanjaro and slept in tents. It was warmer in a tent than in the tea houses. Thanks again for this very informative video.
Congrats you two! I wish we had done a video like this explaining what we took. Very helpful for those who want to go trekking in Nepal. So happy you both finished and pushed through. :)
Wow ! GREAT info, guys !! So glad you guys went and took me along with you. Thanks !!! SUPER as always. Now rest up and get your "mojo" back !!!! 🤠☕☕🍓🍓
This has been a fun and informative series! Thank you and safe travels!
Awww thank you so much for this video. Very much wanted ❤ Actually thank you, thank you, thank you so much for all your videos.
Greetings from Bulgaria.
Hello Chris and Carol. Thank you for sharing your great adventure in the great Nepali mountain. Also the use of those backpacks.
Chris & Carol: Congratulations to you guys to hikes around these many small mountains in Nepal with your backpacks with your belongings with many hills & villages in April of 2023❤❤❤
Well done Chris and Carol 🎉🎉🎉 congrats on a job well done 👍👍
Thank you for this helpful video, Im planning to do the trek this Oct. Have a wonderful days, you two!
Super helpful guys. Thank you. Thinking of doing ABC next year 🙏🏼
This series was so great and looks like it was an experience of a lifetime! I'd like to say we would consider it, but definitely think it might be out of our comfort zones! 😆
Since you travel frequently it would make sense to buy very good quality poncho, trek gear
Decthalon offers very good options
Tqvm for making this video Chris/ Carol. It is very beneficial to me as my trip will be in September this year.
I just completed an Annapurna sanctuary trek a couple of weeks after you both and the 3 of us had one porter/guide to carry everything and look after us - just $25 a day so very cheap when split between 3. And yes ... we did have to still buy both permits each. Thanks for a very informative video that will be invaluable to many. And to anyone who is still not sure ..... go and trek in Nepal - it is the most fantastic experience .... the hiking, the views, the villages and most of all the most wonderful local people. Finally ... a nice gesture ... take loads of biros to give out to the kids - they love them !!!
Did you have to pay the accommodation for the porter? And did y’all have to buy him food too? Please let me know.
@@jenmar9428 Hi, generally the porters get free accomodation from the tea-house you are staying at but they pay for their own food. So at the very most their expenses during a trek are no more than $10 per day.
I will be there shortly. Are guides required now? I would like to find a group to split it with but then trying to coordinate schedules of several people and wake up times I can envision issues w that.
Hey @tappers127 did you also tip the porter or the guide? Some friend of mine said that it's expected that you tip them daily, did that happened to you? Also where did you find the guide/porter from? Do you have a link or a place that you recommend? Thank you and have a great day.
Hi @@Bughy195 - yes we did tip our porter/guide at the very end of our trip - can't remember how much but about 10% cash and also we gave him our rucksack (bought just for trek) - he was VERY happy with that 👍👍
Thank you for all the useful tips and suggestions!
Loved this Nepali adventure
Thank you for taking us along with you
Sabrina🇫🇷🇬🇧

Beautiful video. I wish you success in all your endeavors👍
Hiya. I've watched all of your videos and enjoyed every one. But I have to congratulate you re: your Anapurna trek. Brilliant filming and superb editing, music as well and all done in such challenging conditions. Health and cold being two. Award winning stuff
This was very detailed and helpful. Thanks for this...

Great video, thanks a lot for the info!
Great to see what you took with you & what you could get in Nepal! Great charging advice , entertainment advice. Thoroughly enjoyed your hike in the Himalayas, amazing to see your whole experience from your highs to lows & inspiring to witness your achievement & the beauty of the mountains that surrounded you at the end of your trek, such a great watch. Also great to see how amazing the food options are on the trek. Also love that you capture your travels on the go pro & phone !!!

Hey! What’s that?
Thanks.
One thing I didn't see mentioned was restroom needs on the trail. Can you tell us about availability, protocol in Nepal, on the trails?
Really informative, thanks for sharing your experience.
Glad you found it helpful!
Hi Chris and Carol. This Video is very informative. It helps me a lot for my upcoming ABC hiking. Thank you! By any chance you can remember the name of the shop you hired the sleeping bags?
Thanks for sharing your trip there guys. I would have taken my DSLR too. Cheers.
Bravo you two!💪🎉🏆🎉💪 Congratz ,Congratz, Congrats Carol & Cris
Tacke Care Many Love, Blesses In All The Beautiful Formes Guys 🌞❤💎🍀🌈🌞❤💎🌈🍀💎❤🌞
Very informative video. Precious Thank You! 🙏
Chris & Carol: You guys passes so many villages while hiking among these so many mountains with many hills taking risks with snows falls etc. in Nepal on this trip April of 2023❤❤❤
Beautiful video 👍👍
You guys are awesome. I hope you get a great rest. This was just amazing to watch you guys go on this journey. My heart goes off to you both.
This is a great video! All of your videos are awesome, but this was pretty cool that you showed everybody what you brought along with you I just don't understand how Carol was able to put that backpack on herself since she's a tiny little thing❤
Hi, thanks for sharing your tips, quick question please , when did u go hiking the anapura? what is the best month of the year you would recommend? I heard that there is a pollution season as well in Nepal. thanks
Good description. Thanks a lot.
Congratulations Cris and Carol. You are blessed to experience ABC. Take Care always you guys. ❤
Very helpful for me coz I'm going to this fall 2024 and I'm so exciting . Thanks for all information guys. By the way what month did you guys visited ABC?
Very useful thank you ☺️
Philippines: Manila and beautiful see..baguio❤
super informative video!!
In higher altitudes we don't get heater, its because there is less trees for wood and also lower oxygen makes difficulties to burn fire as fire also need enough oxygen 😉 electricity wire hasn't reached there, solar energy is not effective because of low sun heat so, locals builded small small hydropower for cooking and lights only ....i think you have seen big pipes in trials thats the hydropower build by villagers ....but in winter due to extreme cold pipes get frozen causes scarcity of electricity
Very useful information, thanks for sharing. For a once in a lifetime experience this sounds very reasonably priced when you compare it to the amount of money some people pay for luxury beach holidays.
Where there clotheslines in the lodges or is it better to bring an own one?
Funniest comment goes to Carol.....if you have a uterus you might need this 😂😂😂
😂
You made me do it next year ! :)
You guys are amazing
Super video you guys. Very informative. Not that I would be crazy enough to do what you did on this trek. No way! lol
Thank you this was very helpful.
Would you both recommend having a swiss army knife or a leatherman tool?
did you have to pre book the teahouses? or is it okay to ask for a room once you get there?
watching from germany berlin
love from Nepal.....hope you will again trek Everest base camp
gloves need to buy leather type i guess or thick ones. i lived in canada once, i know what is -30
Chris & Carol: Are you guys planning to climbs or reaches the Summit of Mount Everest this week in April of 2023 to “Break Records”? I wish you guys safe journeys on your trips in Nepal 2023❤❤❤
Great, informative vlog! I am planning to go in November. My question: did you take any gear from home? Did you fly to Nepal with carry-on only? Or did you have to check your bags on the plane? I am hoping to take everything I need from home. Is this wise or not? Thank you.
thanks for visiting nepal🙏🙏🙏♥️
When I go, I am going to bring a big bag of dog treats ;)
They deserve it!
You can tell you've just come from 2 weeks of exertion! Both of you are looking skinny. In a healthy way! (You guys always look great don't get me wrong) 👏
Some very good info. Just.. Osprey offers the Kestrel model in 38,48,58,68 L and there is no Kestrel 35L.
Also there is no place on earth where you buy Kestrel for 38 dollars. 1:04 Those you show can only be replica and not real Osprey.
Beautiful views... i presume you didn't have to worry about theft?
Congratulations 👏🎉❤
Excellent vid....😊
Missed this one time to catch up
It is breathtaking! I am just curious because my physical conditions don't currently allow me to such a thing 😂
I like your videos, please could you do a trek to Kailash Mountain nice sceneries, easy treking
Hello.
Should I take water bottle filter for ABC trek?
Thanks for the suggestion.
We just used the tablets that clean the water, you can buy the tablets in Nepal
Super 🎉🎉🎉
which are area or from which point onward there isnt any more telecom signal?
Great series Chris and Carol we have absolutely loved it. Just one question? Have you been carrying those boots all around the world with you? 😂😂
No lol, they were at Chris parents house and they brought them too us when they came to Asia in December
A Jó Isten áldása legyen Rajtatok, vigyázzatok Magatokra! F. Attila👍❤
Hi, thank you for your helpful video about trecking❤, I have question, if having guid was mandatory, how did you treck without guid?bcz its really imp for me to know that, I do not need guid but some people said its mandatory and some said its not,
It is mandatory now, we did the trek one week before this new rule began
How come you didn't make it go Everest base camp? More expensive ? Higher and harder? Or wasn't it in your initial plans ? Xx
Useful information ❤❤❤
Awesome experience 😊
Did you get a drone permit or were you flying your drone without it?
Lots of love ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
What did you guys do with all the extra stuff you bought? Specially since it's very specific stuff only needed for treking or very cold weather. Thanks!
Ended up selling pretty much everything to one trekking store in pokhara, but only got like 30 dollars for it all haha. Nobody was interested in second hand stuff even though we only got it around 2 weeks earlier
Great information, thank for sharing! Did you have to pay to store the rest of your stuff in Pokhara?
What exactly did you guys do to saveguard your footage? Did you also bring a laptop, or did you leave it in the hotel room all the time? 🤔
The footage was just on the gopro the entire time and our laptop stayed at the hotel room. Once we arrived there we copied everything to the laptop straight away
