Although they rose to fame on the strength of their radio ready 3 to 4 minute hit singles, Creedence was a jam band, especially live. This song, "Ramble Tamble," "Heard It Through The Grapevine," and many other examples clearly show that when given the chance, these guys could rock.

That was a fun reaction and I have so much great stuff that I bet you would like. So many bangers like this, but also some just incredible emotional punch punch, like, every mother's son, or, long as I can see the light.

This is one of my favourites...Leave it to John Fogerty to write a song with made-up words and it be a success. 😆Not many could pull that off, really enjoyed jamming to this one, thanks so much. 🎶I love the harmonica too. The song keeps building and turns into a jam-session and a straight up groove. And that's John Fogerty playing the variations of guitar riffs in the beginning ro (intro) and that's fogerty on the harmonica...John could blow!! 😆 this is simply magical stuff, bro (ear candy🍬) Here's another song in case you're interested. "Up Around The Bend With Lyrics" (by the channel: WUVAL( because the sound quality is pretty decent) What a great reaction thanks so much

you've never react to Rainbow with Ronnie James DIO on vocals (the most beautiful and rich voice of history of rock and hard rock) , try this, 'stargazer' live 1976 video ua-cam.com/video/rVXy1OhaERY/v-deo.html I can't get enough of his voice...............and with and incredible guitar solo with eastern vibes.......an unmissible gem of the 70s

Clearly a number many people don't know, 188 views while other songs go into the thousands views. Keep on Chooglin was CCR's last number at their concerts. 1 of the best live jams ever.....

First rock album I ever bought and I was obsessed with this track. That metronomic single chord riff is so mesmerising and the the lead guitar and harmonica are fantastic. Also, their best album in my view although Willy & the Poorboys ran it close.

That's from my favorite CCR album Bayou Country. I love every song on it. Great choice from the person that picked it. Thanks to that individual for choosing it.
Graveyard Train is probably my favorite song on it, but it's really hard to pick just one.
There's a band from the 70s you gotta check out. They're called Mother's Finest. And a good song to listen to is Baby Love, from the Another Mother Further album, which is a classic in its entirety.

Agree with others here that you get kudos for diving into the deeper CCR cuts. They have so many great ones that should be heard more often. Check out "Penthouse Pauper" and "Bootleg (Alternate Take)" from this same album.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen people dance to this and dance to it myself and a pool hall or a dive bar with a great jukebox. People really go off.

side two of this album "bayou country" is one if the best r&r sides ever. it begins with a cover of little richard's "good golly miss molly." an excellent rendition. the rest of songs were all penned by john fogerty. "penthouse pauper" is the next song followed by their standard classic "proud mary." the album side ends with "keep on chooglin'" a 7 minute long opus which mixes wonderful harmonica work with a kick ass guitar solo. the song rocks and never stops.
that's one of the best album sides in r&r history.

You have heard the word chooglin before, in Born on the Bayou. On a fast freight train, just a chooglin on down to New Orleans. That’s the short version.

You should listen to the version on John Fogerty’s album Long Road Home. Live in concert this one lifts the roof, made my ears ring for a week!

Yah, this song just highlights what I mean when I say that John Fogerty should be considered amongst the Guitar Demi-Gods of the rock & roll era, as well as a premier songwriter and unique singing voice.

He really is very underrated, even still. He was an absolute powerhouse--that voice, great guitar work, could play other instruments like harmonica and sax, fantastic songwriter and arranger. The entire package.

    Fogerty invented the word Chooglin'.
