How much was the whole assembly. Ive went throught two aftermarket fuel pumps already would like to go with the oem to fix it indefinitely. Thanks in advanced
currently going though again on my 2nd z1000 the 2017 and 2020 ( both around 50 - 60k kms opn the clock ) so now gogin though the hastle of gettting finding a feul pressure regulator and not the whole assembly , kawasaki only sels the whole unit and nots parts on the unit
Correct, I’ve rebuild lots of pumps, and the kits do not come with everything. It ends up being a waste of time and money. Buy the OEM assembly or continue chasing the same problem.
Hi, I am facing the same issue. Once my bike start to run, I can hear the fuel pump prime sound keeps on running from the gas tank. Eventually I can't run above 5K RPM. No engine light, definitely the fuel pump issue. It happens after I pumped Shell V-Power.
Seems like nobody wants to drop the tank and flush that internal filter every 3,000 miles huh,,,,,,I guess if the manuel doesn't say to do it nobody will do it but all older bikers already know the drill, flush it or "external filter mod" and have to clean the pressure regulator every 3,000 miles....😂😢😅

Possibly the fuel pump, from what you're saying....hope the video helps....
Yes, currently waiting for the new fuel pump to arrive. Thanks again for your videos man.
Its a internal fuel filter at the top and there is no way to clean it at all
