Perfect timing for an upload Ryo. Great way to end the evening before snooze time 😃 I'm not really sure about what shrimp would best suit it, but I was thinking some Yamato shrimp might be nice. 😊
@@RyoWatanabee Oh yea, you're absolutely right. I do concur with your assessment. Anyway, I look forward to seeing how it turns out in the future. Cheers! 😁
Hi. I found your channel today while searching for Rice Fish. Thumbs up for your location, your choice of Crocs and your enthusiasm. Thanks from London town.
I live out in the pacific north west of America and I go out in the woods to collect pummice for my aquariums, its noticeably more difficult to find in stores here than in other parts of the world. Lovely little tank system with a great aquascape, thanks for sharing Ryo.
Thanks for sharing Ryo ... what a beautiful kit. Can you do a follow up in a few months and let us know how the hardware is performing and your enjoyment level?
I always appreciate your enthusiasm and curiosity in expanding your experience in the hobby and for sharing the the exploration with us, Ryo! I've never wanted to deal with CO2 tanks but maybe that small tank might not be too much of a bother... I kinda recall it was better to use CO2 in the day or was it the night? Thanks, Ryo!
This is a beautiful nano tank that is absolutely perfect for any small shelf in a livingroom or kitchen or bedroom but beware; I have one and I used crushed volcanic rocks in mini and topped with substrate and soil and used dennerle mekong sand and one very beautiful small seiryu stone and in front of it a gorgeous cryptocorine wendtii mini and one anubias pinto … it works great! No wood no other nothing and only one snail and three shrimps …
@@Cow_Juice yes it is… it is really a decorative nano tank for anyone who wants a ‘live’ piece of art, an eye catcher, anywhere. I can see this at even shops or stores on a counter or on a shelf amongst shoes or bags and just I hope people realise this is not made for a planted tank set up; this is to give ONE plant your centerpiece attention and few epiphytes or nano plants, I disagree with how in this video Ryo uses plants that need space to grow too … plants are as much alive and need space too and pls no fish in this one! Not even ONE most nano nano fish.. 3 shrimps is max and one or two snails no more

Thinking of getting this or a mini s with an onf flat nano which is prob the cheaper choice 😅 Just wondering, do your think the co2 machine and the pump are necessary for tanks of this size?
Right now, it seems to be working very well. When I turn the co2 off, I can see the the co2 in the glass chamber lessens and the plants are growing fast!
Mind to ask , since I noob on Aquascape. I see you put gravel first than aquasoil. Isn't a lot put soil first than gravel? I heard if put Gravel first than soil Plants will not be good is that true? Or there is actually no difference be it you put gravel first or soil.
It’s not gravel, it’s pumice. It’s a layer for water circulation and bacteria to grow. There’s different ways to set up aquascape. I’ve also done tanks with gravel on top. It’s good for low tech planted tanks
@@RyoWatanabee so you have to open it every morning? How do you count the bps without any bubble counter included? I was hoping that you could just fill the mini co2 bell in the morning and then co2 will slowly release in the tank during the day but it seems this is not the case? Thanks for your explanation 🙏
@@Hellacop6 yes, the bell glass has a counter integrated in it. You can attach a solenoid valve if you want. I probably will in the near future for when I travel
It used to be the most expensive even when Amano himself was around. Probably highest quality materials on the market. But to be honest, it’s only expensive overseas. In Japan it’s still reasonable and just a little more expensive than other brands
So what shrimp are we adding in this Mini_NA?
Sulawesi shrimp. ;-)
I revised my initial answer. 😆 What about a dwarf shrimp?
Cherry shrimp, the red goes well with the green plants.
@@Jack_Splendens Hi, yes I suggested that too but Ryo is right. It might grow a little too big for the size of the tank :)
Blue Neocaridina, my favorite
ADA sure knows how to nail design!
Great little scape as well! Looks so good for only a few days of waiting.
Yes, it’s a very stylish design. The plants grow very fast in this set up!
Can’t wait for the kit to make it to the USA great little desk tank
I couldn't see buying myself one of those , bot I'd definitely be looking at buying myself two 💙💚 Thanks Ryo for sharing the new set !!!

Cool, thanks for the comment!
In Japan, big home centers will readily sell pumice in the gardening section. And very cheap.
Would make a great desk tank with some daphnia.
What a cool looking kit!
I agree! Very different than others on the market

hi @Ryowatanabee, yes it is a difuser... but is a passive way of co2 diffusion... very old technique, works too (just not so fast).
tHANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS!!!!
Thanks for watching!
I’m actually saving for one of these, hopefully they’ll be available in Europe soon! 😊

499€ in Europe 🤮 😅

Ryo, those shorts you are waring a a bit. wild :)

I’m curious it’s the CO2 meant to run all the time or do you turn it on and off manually?
Looks cool bit I prefer the simplicity of the plain ada mini terrarium thingy
Hi, May I know how to justify the amount of co2 inject into tank by using the bell glass mini?
It’s recommended to put as little bps as possible. I’m on about 1 bubble every 3 seconds.
In Uk still not available :(

From any ADA distributing store
How do you control the co2 bps rate?
By using the fine nozzle on the regulator. I’m currently doing about 1 bubble every 3 seconds
