I was determined to find out so i set up this mod and did a few speedruns, the results were unexpected...

@@pavlejovan5557it shouldn't matter that much. a remake will always change voice lines it's how it works. Sure they keep some lines in it but what's the point of keep everything the same. And if your talking about the 2016 remaster that's not a remake.

Interesting that Krauser lets you use weapons outside his base ones, while Wesker just makes the game crash.
This was actually me not being familiar enough with the mod to make them work, he can’t do the ditman glitch though, or use the tmp, still no rocket rither
@@waifurunstv Oh. I wonder if that applies to Ada and Hunk then. I'm kinda curious how Hunk's neck snap could factor into a speedrun.
@@snortlaxatives Hunk's notorious for instantly crashing the game if you equip anything other than his custom TMP.
With the Trainer, though, there are a few options you can toggle to fix this by applying Leon's skeleton and hands to the missing animations of the characters, but it often results in a weird pair of floating disjointed hands and it isn't 100% stable. However, his neck snap remains so it's as simple as firing a single shot to stun an enemy, snapping their neck and moving to the next. Efficient but gets old fast lol

@@waifurunstv The Ditman glitch not working is because of one of the Trainer's toggles for swapping models accidentally disabling it. I don't know exactly how it works behind the scenes, but I've discovered it while fooling with the trainer myself. Can't say which option it is as I haven't played RE4 in a hot minute, but it's not really worth it, anyways, as the game becomes waaaay too unstable if you don't have everything checked.

You put a lot of effort into these and it makes these much more entertaining
Assignment Ada and the Mine Thrower are the only things in RE4 I've never touched and I've only played Separate Ways 5 times for each time I've bought the game to unlock the Mafia Suit for Leon and Suit of Armor for Ashley.
This was an awesome speedrun to watch, Really excited to see a Hunk speedrun next if hes the next contender. Also, just gotta add that 6:20 has the best line I've ever heard!

PS2 had this thingy called Action Replay (in other words that time's Cheat Engine), where if i remember correctly you input codes to gain something. Like for example play as Krauser in the main story. I still have the book somewhere with Action Replay and not only cheats for games.

hearing machinegirl in these videos hits so good. literally never heard another commentary tuber use machinegirl.
You can use Razor's, or the new trainer on resident evil modding forurms, if you choose to use the alternative to Raz0r's it allows you to even use Hunk, with other weapons which was thought to be impossible prior.
Wesker can also use the TMP with this trainer, has no weapons that are unusable with that trainer, to my knowledge.
Having all these Characters for mercenaries i dont know why capcom didnt include alternativ Players. A Bit like Dante and Vergil in dmc 4.
Sperate ways and stuff have been great but i guess this wouldve made the game even greater than it already is

When you drop enemies to their knees and wesker does that leg kick straight down I never seen a enemy survive that in mercenaries but that thrust punch he doesn’t isn’t that strong it’s just good crowd control
I like to think that krauser has Multiple Personality Disorder and so each Krauser boss fight in this “alternate universe” is just Krasuer fighting himself in his head

If I remember right, there's no ladder or drop-off to trigger the out-of-bounds-glitch in Del Lago's room. But killing it underwater with your bare hands is way cooler anyway.

I just bought re4, the only complaint I have is that you can not strafe or side step. Great video. My old Xbox one says no to playing the new one.
It's an intentional decision, it adds a lot of depth to your choices during combat, as far as movement. It also was intended to make combat more stressful, since it is a supposed 'horror' game. Personally, I love the tank controls, strafing would make it too easy.
That being said, the remakes introduce strafing.
