I googled parts I remembered, I asked around on forums, and I've given up so many times. I thought I'd never get to read them again. Who would have guessed I'd be reminded randomly by watching one of your videos. It's the Dragonriders of Pern!! THANK YOU! Seriously!! I cannot wait to get these books!

Both of my parents are big readers, so I guess I’m lucky. I actually didn’t even think about it until reading your comment, but I guess I’m lucky in a sense. They encouraged me to read from very early on, i was always read to as a child before bed and while all the other children hated library lessons - they were like a gift for me - an hour where I could read at school with nobody disturbing me? Win win!

I shared my love of reading with my mom who passed from cancer in 2005, but I treasure the memories of the books that we enjoyed together. It really is a blessing to be able to share something you love with someone you love so much.

I'm also a fan of Terry Pratchett and of The Dragonriders of Pern series. I have maybe read about half the books of both of them. I also like the earlier Dragonriders of Pern better. I've still got to read The Belgeriad series by David Eddings.

Oh my god, I had no idea that Anne Mccaffrey's books where so old, or that there are so many. I randomly came across Dragonsong in a gas station on my way back from summer camp in 2016, and I fell in love with it, and I immediately got the next two books. I can't wait to read the rest!
