    OHHH MYYYY! Ah Pa...I ❤️ Vinegar Pork Trotters! One of my fave dishes since I was little! It has been a very long time since I ate this dish. And Im so pleased that you share this recipe with us. I hope I get to cook this some day....brings back good ole memories of my late mum and late uncle! They were the ones who introduce me to this dish!! t\Thank you, Ah Pa!

    Ah Pa.... my mum will saute the ginger with sesame seed oil before adding it to the pot to cook.

    Because of you, Cooking Ah Pa I am addicted to Pork trotter vineger... Ha ha ha...
    Not only cook for my family but cook it to my clients & friends...
    Tips, add some dried mandarin peel & some Gula Melaka at begining of cooking. Add shioxing wine at end of cooking.

      Ohh...gula melaka is definitely a good move, actually i like it alot spicier by adding more dried chili, too bad my family doesn’t take spicy

      @@CookingAhPaFor this , more aromatic is more important than spicy for me.. don't get me wrong, I like to use dried cilli & cilli padi in my cooking. Tom Yam Salmon prawn & sour vegetables pork trotter...

    Hi Ah Pa, I hv little knowledge of pressure cooker, just wonder if I buy those traditional ones, will the process be the same? Bcos I hv no space in my house to accommodate this kind of pressure cooker

      Hello Julia Chiang, do consider invest in a pressure cooker. It is very versatile, easy use & cleaning.
      With pressure cooker,
      The amount water you put inside will NEVER reduce.
      The nutrition will be kept back into the food.
      It takes 1/3 of time to cook compares to normal pot cooking.
      No need to watch over the time, put in ingredients, add desire water, close lock, press a few button, leave it till Cook, it keep warm till you ready to eat...

      If u want it softer texture, simmer over low medium heat for 45mins to 1 hour
