you just need to get ungated on Amazon ... you cant from your home it is illegal due to cottage food laws you have to be in a commercial licensed facility
Hi. I have a question and hopefully you can answer. I don't want to use Amazon FBA. I have very small expensive inventory of Saffron. My mother brings some every year from an area known for best saffron in Iran. So what I did I created very cute interesting packaging.Very thick tiny glass jars (unbreakable) with plastic screw on lid and on top of that I used heat shrink to seal the jar. I did that all in my own kitchen and tried to be as clean as possible. Used gloved and scales and all. Jars are for makeup I believe but I even flushed them with water and dried them. So I did take pictures for Amazon but they denied me because of some sort of labeling or invoicing issue. So like I said these Saffron are brought in from Iran. The invoices are in Farsi, I repackaged them with attractive safe packaging. Would you know what sort of labels I need to put on them? Thank you for your help

How to I prepare the shipment ? My spices come in small plastic round containers. It's got a bar code and everything, exactly like you would find then on supermarket shelves. Do I need to put each in a poly bag and stick Amazon bar code on it ? When I receive the exact same product - it comes as it is, no extra bags. Does Amazon remove those bags before sending it to clients ?
thFDA requires your facility to be registered with them, but you would need the right business license from your city and county, and also food business insurnace and an LLC or legal entity formation. The FDA also gives "guidance" for labeling for spices.
