I’m starting a Seasoning business soon , I love the information you share. Can you do a video on spice and sauce selling in Canada? Not sure if that’s possible but I just thought to ask. Also can you sell Sauces and Seasonings on Facebook Market Place? If so how does it work? Is there a fee? Also, Is it better to have a website to sell your products on? I discovered in order to sell you products on sites like Wix, you have to have a Business account, paying a month charge, which is out of my budget at this time. So this is why I asked Is it cheaper to sell on FBMP. Please let me know of any other ways I can sell to my potential customer.
Not sure if you guys cares but if you're bored like me atm then you can stream pretty much all the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Been streaming with my girlfriend lately :)

hey.... your videos are AMAZING!! thank you for these videos that help struggling and new businesses get educational help. I have a question, if we order from Alibaba, food or/and other commodities, do we need to have an import license? pay duties? any other permits and certificates, licenses? Thank you so much!!!
When importing food or other commodities from Alibaba or any other international supplier, several factors will determine whether you need an import license, need to pay duties, and require other permits and certificates. These factors typically depend on your country's specific regulations and the nature of the products you are importing. Here are some general considerations: Import License: Some countries require importers to obtain an import license or permit for certain products. The need for an import license varies from country to country and may depend on factors such as the type of product, its intended use, and its country of origin. You should check with your local customs or import/export authorities to determine if you need an import license. Duties and Taxes: Most countries impose customs duties and taxes on imported goods. The rates and types of duties and taxes can vary widely based on the product category and its country of origin. You will need to pay these duties and taxes when your goods clear customs. Make sure to research the specific duties and taxes applicable to your products in your country. Permits and Certificates: Depending on the nature of the goods you are importing, you may need additional permits and certificates. For example, importing food products often requires compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. You may need certificates of analysis, certificates of origin, and other documentation to prove the quality and safety of your products. Similarly, certain commodities like chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or electronics may require specific permits and certifications. Import Restrictions: Some products may be subject to import restrictions or prohibitions due to health, safety, environmental, or security concerns. You should check with your country's customs or trade authorities to ensure that the products you intend to import are not subject to any restrictions. Import Regulations and Documentation: Proper documentation is crucial when importing goods. You will likely need to provide shipping and customs documentation, such as a commercial invoice, bill of lading, packing list, and certificates of compliance or origin. Customs Broker: In many cases, working with a customs broker or freight forwarder can be beneficial. They can help you navigate the complex import regulations, handle customs clearance, and ensure that all necessary documentation is in order. Tariff Classification: Each product is assigned a specific tariff classification code, which determines the applicable customs duties and taxes. You'll need to accurately classify your products when importing them. The Harmonized System (HS) code is often used for this purpose. Product Safety and Compliance: Ensure that the products you import meet the safety and quality standards of your country. Compliance with regulations such as food safety, product labeling, and product certification may be required. To avoid legal issues and ensure a smooth importing process, it's essential to research and understand the specific import regulations and requirements for your country. Consulting with customs authorities, seeking legal advice, and working with experienced import professionals can help you navigate the complexities of importing food and other commodities. Importing without adhering to the necessary regulations and requirements can lead to customs delays, fines, or even the seizure of your goods.
