I’m also in Victoria Australia. I’ve watched you all through your last summer, with so much rain, while we’ve been desperate for it to rain here, I watched you through your winter with so much snow while we had 47c temperatures and still no rain, and now I’m watching you through even more rain and still no rain here. Our summer seems never ending this year. We have no town water here and rely solely on rain water for all our needs. The tanks are almost empty now. I would gladly trade you sunshine for some rain!
You should make a little doorway just for hope to pass through that way if she is getting pushed around she can go in and out on her own and be able to join the herd
Looks like spring there. Here the weather has either been rainy or windy. Here in Southern Idaho one day it’ll rain and the next day the wind will blow like crazy. That’s been our spring. Still haven’t got anything in the ground yet, been to busy with baby goats, chicks, ducks and bunnies. Try to stay dry way over there to the east. Take care, see ya :)
Good mornin Moose Crossing .... yep, we are expecting more wet weather over the next couple of days. I don't get any flooding at my house ... sit at a relatively high elevation here in town. Where are you planning to put your new barn ... seems like your newly cleared pasture wants to be a lake? Bet you're glad to see your garden beds popping out of the snow banks finally. I've got some of my seeds started, with the rest to be started today. I can't wait to get seedlings into the garden, but I have at least another month here in Pa before that happens. Your started plants are looking very good. I have prolly a week yet before I see any sprouts .... I have them in the garage on heat mats but it's not very warm at all in there. I hope they germinate. Best of luck with this wet weather. Take care AL, Gina & "just say no to snow" Olivia.
Peas the green veggies from the behind. Rain! April showers bring May flowers. Well it's more like April snow showers bring May flowers. Hope is warm enough to go without her sweatshirt. It won't be the frist cold Easter, we have had here in the US. Thanks for sharing your family and farm life with us!💐🐇🌷💐🐇🌷💐🐇🌷💐🐇🌷💐🐇🌷💐🐇🌷💐🐇🌷💐🐇🌷💐🐇🌷💐🐇🌷💐🐇🐠💐🐇🌷💐🐇🌷💐🐇🌷💐🐇🌷🐠
I really look forward to and enjoy your videos, Al. You've got a lovely family there; and your homestead is awesome! Thanks for taking the time to make these videos & for sharing your lives with us. Just want you to know that your subscribers, new & old, appreciate you! Blessed be. ✌
Morning Al, hope your back is feeling better...its so wonderful to see Hope, she is my hearts delight, I am happy she is bold and gets in the feeder, she is too little to eat from the outside and get any of the good stuff LOL.....if its any compensation the weather here in the southern hemisphere (Australia) is silly too, I have Azalea's that should only bloom in the spring for a short while, that are blooming right now and its Autumn here! absolutely crazy, just like you are inundated with snow and rainfall. Let's say a collective prayer world wide that the weather becomes more reliable and stable. Please give Hope and Figero a special hug from me, I adore them both so much :)
Beautiful sunny spring weather here in the uk. Blossoms and flowers are pretty and smell so good. 💐🌷🌺🌹 I make a soup which is called Kitchen Sink Soup because there’s everything in it but the kitchen sink. My son has moved to the USA and now cooks it for his family. Glad the girls are slowly accepting Hope. 😁
Oh I was over on Social Blade today and WOW the amount of new subs since you got Hope is amazing. I am positive they will stay because your family is amazing with the animals etc!! HUGS guys!
My favorite part of this video was Figero playing with the puppy! I have three tuxedo boy kitties and they are very playful! Your cat cracks me up how he shows up in precarious places :).
You know you can salvage that celery by sticking the bottom in some water until roots sprout. After that the tops will start regrowth and you can put it into some soil. I have a bunch of celery and green onions that I've been using over and over for quite some time. Just cut what you need and it'll go for some time.
Somewhere in the world a garden vegetable grows wild. Near San Diego, celery grows wild along our streams. Wrap the rooted celery in some wire net [to discourage four legged ungardening thieves] and plant it near running water near by your stream in as warm a location as you can figure.
12:30am Monday morning a tornado did hit in my area. we had some trees down, power outage and lost some buildings. thank goodness it was not as bad as it could have been.
Snow or rain you can't buy a brake. Remember...good or bad a day is only 24 hours long. I pray your get some sunny DRY weather. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
Good morning Al. I owned a bird hatchery back in the eighties and used an old slide projector to candle the eggs. Worked great! The last thing I needed was an egg exploding in my Sears redwood 400 egg incubator :-O. I wonder if anyone still uses the old Sears incubators. Had to buy extra thermostats, but had a 98% hatch rate for waterfowl. Have a great day. We are not quite so muddy yet in central NH.
I grew up, in Western Australia with ONLY white eggs from the chooks. NOW there are only Brown eggs. It took a trip to Canada years ago to see white eggs again. I was stunned!. NOW I see "green" eggs............. I also grew up with only orange carrots .............. when I was in Canada I saw a MULTITUDE of colours!!! Heavens above I love watching these channels....
Hey Al, speaking of wet, what's going on with checking the maple trees? With all the snow melting and warm weather I expect they're flowing by now. No?
I tend to save all my bones from different meats and when I have enough I make a bone broth from it and then I make a "everything but the kitchen sink" soup, just whatever I have on hand, meats veggies and usually wild or whole grain rice. Glad to see that the goats are starting to be nicer to Hope.
Hey Al, I think Blossom has become your new star on the homestead. We don't have any snow left now but we're getting rain in intervals so we get two days of cold rainy weather twice a week. Last night we had severe thunder storms come through. We're still looking at flooding and the rain is just keeping it over flood stage. The weather is crazy all over it seems. Well Livy should love all the mud puddles to splash and walk through. You all stay healthy, happy, humble and thankful for every new day.
One of my favorite soups is the Greek Lemon Rice soup, Avgolemono. I put chicken in mine as well. It calls for chicken stock and the chicken meat and is thickened with eggs. I know you have plenty of them. It might be a fun change of pace if you have not made it before.
It's raining every day here Al. And it is quite cool for us... 23 degrees Celsius (don't laugh) and a bit windy. I don't have to water anything today. No animals yet, maybe next year. Soup looks yummy.
Wow! That’s a lot of moisture!!! Sure am praying you are feeling well! Those sweet animals depend on you. Blessings to you and your sweet family!!🕊🙏♥️☺️🌞
Italian chickpeas soup: Heat up garlic in olive oil with finely chopped rosemary and salt. Add caned or overnight soaked chickpeas. If its canned you need to bing to boiling if it is soaked then cook until it is soft. Add short pasta and cook together until the pasta is “ al dente”. Serve with freshly grated black pepper and grated parmesan cheese.
I just make a basic beef stew, carrots, celery, onions, garlic, potatoes, beef, beef broth, salt pepper and a little extra onion and garlic via powdered spices and a thickener. All to taste as we usually are picky on flavors.
Goooood Evening Al , I received a few rain drops just after lunch time. Not even enough to make the ground damp . Which is fine with me. My lawn tractor has been stuck in a mud hole all winter. I'm hoping that the ground is dry enough now to get it out. Fingers crossed that it will drive out . As usual I am all by myself . So I must use more brain and less back . I have two 20' long nylon pull straps , a one ton come-along and a handy sapling tree . If I still can not drive it out , I can winch it out . Spring weather. Been waiting for it all winter. Now that it's here what does it mean ? WORK ! And more WORK ! So many things to do and they all need to be done right now because it's spring and EVERYTHING is growing ! The peach tree blossoms have to be thinned , The blackberries and raspberries have to be pruned , several new trees are ready to be planted , the garden must be readied , and on and on . You know , maybe sitting with a cup of fresh coffee while watching the snow fall wasn't so bad after all . And oh yeah , the grass needs to be cut already before it's knee high . LOL
Rain, rain, go away come again some other day! Keep dry Al! Things are still looking great at Lumnah Acres can't wait to see your next project. I know that it's looking bad for rain this weekend too. I'm going to walk the perimeter of a 10 acre horse farm I'm looking to buy, I was hoping that it would be a little dryer so I could see if the pastures drained well but I'm thinking I'm going to be walking in mud! I hope I have at least some dry'ish pasture so I will be able to start my gardens for this summer and fall.
The weather everywhere is so crazy lately. I can't believe your Walmart closed! That is very unusual and makes me worry. Please stay safe. 🙏I hope you guys get some beautiful weather and sunshine 🌞 soon. That music🎶 you put to Figaro🐱 and Tanner🐶was perfect. 😂🤣. The smell of onion, garlic and mushrooms is amazing! 😇heavenly! Tastes just as good. You all have a great day and stay positive. Blessings to you❤🙏
Glad I live in central California, light rain and sunny! Sitting here siding back door is open smelling the orange, lemon blossoms. Made some fresh lemonade today.
We are getting a lot of rain and thunderstorms here in Arkansas. It keeps raining and holding up our garden planting like everyone else I am sure. Love your videos! Really enjoy the cooking part as well as the chores. TFS!!!!
I live in the redwoods close to Santa Cruz, CA. We’ve had 10” of rain in twelve hours on several occasions. We’ve had over ten feet of rain some years here. I live high enough above the river that flooding isn’t a problem. We have many landslides, trees fall, and roads washed away two years ago. Sometimes we’re unable to go anywhere because of these issues, but we love it here!
I don’t know why but I’m so attached to checking up on your weather to see when spring is finally there. Here in Seattle it is definitely spring . We have our share of rain to water what we have planted (peas greens and flowers) . Our temps are in the 50s and 60s. We have our beautiful spring sunny days too. I’m getting my city garden ready for the season. Watching your videos makes me want chickens again. I’ll be glad to see when you start seeing better weather.
We get more rain annually than the Pacific Northwest here in the high mountains of NC. My stream roars and can be heard everywhere on my 70 acres. During torrential rains you can hear the boulders crashing down the stream. Thankfully it isn't that humid here. I love mountain living! Hope you didn't get that snow! Blessings to all.
Where we live in the PNW, where it rains 9 months out of the year, we love our crockpot chilli!! Am anxious to try it out in my new cook pot like the one you have. Probably won’t take as long...but will be just as good!
We had a F2 Tornado hit 5 miles from home (De). Thank the Lord we are ok. Prayers for those who lost homes and businesses. Our favorite soup…Split Pea soup! 😊❤❤❤❤❤
Good morning,, we received alot of the rain the other day.. Today is looking like rain again.. just has that feeling, we lost alot of our snow also,,,cant wait to get the barns opened up and aired out and all cleaned, we are on baby pig watch right now,, Hopefully she holds off today,, since it has started raining already today..
Yah, we're having lots of rain. I bought a large water tank but i don't have the rain gutters pn the barn yet. Maybe this weekend I can put the extensions on the rafters and then the gutters and downspouts. Life is busy. Take care.
We’ve been gettin alot of rain here In Utah, too. XD honestly I’m glad considering we live in a desert! This summer is gonna be dry af and we’re gonna need all this extra rainfall! 😆
Mild thunderstorms are my white noise; man I had two long naps yesterday! At least we're getting rain now instead of more blizzards (WI). The frog pond woke up three days ago so while it's not an early spring by any means, it beat last year by about 3 weeks!
I’m from Washington state !!! Born and raised. For now lol ! My husband just joined the army so we will be moving pretty soon. But so cool to know they offer that. ❤️
Good morning, Lumnahs! We had BBQ ribs last night following your recipe in a recent video! Delicious!! Thank you! I'm praying for you all that your back will be better, the weather will improve, and the work of your hands will be fruitful. You all are a blessing to us too. Happy Easter!
Love the fact that your goats are getting used to Hope now. I love your channel and contents - I can always learn something new from you. Hope you have better weather soon. I live in California and I really appreciate that you always remind me to look at things from different perspectives - be thankful, be kind and be resourceful. Hope one day I will can be a homesteader to raise my own chickens and have freshly laid eggs. For now, I grow as much as vege and fruits my time and space allowed.
We need the rain where I live, I live in western Canada on the prairies and it's been very dry this spring, Love your little Hope I'm glad she is fitting in well Have a wonderful Easter weekend, God Bless. Your soup looks good
Alabama here. Sorry about so much rain for y'all. We're going to be on the lookout for tornados again this evening. 😬 All of your goats are pretty but Hope is adorable. I miss having goats.
We are going through that here too. We pumped out 6 inches of water from the yard. Then it snowed and then rained. We now have 8 inches of water to pump out this weekend. But the hose split open. It's hard to remodel a house when we are constantly working on the yard. 😫😫 Hope summer comes soon. 🌻🌞
every year we have a mud month and then the real season begins, it is normallyb March here but now it is April and then garden season hooray! thanks for sharing.
The weather has been crazy here too! Yesterday 75/57f with rain. Today 90/60f sunny. Next two weeks the forcast swings from either 80ish or 90ish. I can't figure out what to wear! I gave up on planting this year. Sending lots of love💜 from sunny🌞 Arizona🌵.
Intermittent rain here also Al for the last two weeks...Your snow has been long but it will soon change...Hang in there Gina and Olivia...be happy its nearly over and the animals are fine!😏🙏👍
Good morning. Also good night because I live in Melbourne Australia and it's time for me to get ready for bed, I'll have to watch you video tomorrow. Time zones are so weird. I hope you have a great day at lumnah acres 👍🏻❤️
I almost spit out my smoothie when I saw Tanner and Figaro playing! Too cute
Love how Hope just makes herself at home feeding with the other goats. Also happy to see that the goats are slowly adjusting to Hope
I’m also in Victoria Australia. I’ve watched you all through your last summer, with so much rain, while we’ve been desperate for it to rain here, I watched you through your winter with so much snow while we had 47c temperatures and still no rain, and now I’m watching you through even more rain and still no rain here. Oh my, wishing for rain for you guys, best wishes from Cave Spring Georgia

Hope needs a type of dutch door for her back area so she can go thru and the large goats cannot. Love watching your goats!
That's a good idea, but she is growing pretty fast. I guess when she can't fit through any more, then she doesn't need it. Hmmm
Peas the green veggies from the behind. Rain! April showers bring May flowers. Well it's more like April snow showers bring May flowers. Hope is warm enough to go without her sweatshirt. Followers let us come together and pray for sunny days and planting for this sweet family. Enough snow and rain! Bless them dear Lord!
Amen!
My favorite part of this video was Figero playing with the puppy! I have three tuxedo boy kitties and they are very playful! Your cat cracks me up how he shows up in precarious places :).
I find him absolutely amazing! How does he do all that he does ? What a cute family 😊
Happy Easter to everyone there.
April showers bring May flowers! 🌻 at least mosts the snows gone ❤️

Was for sure a crazy Winter. We're getting that rain right now here in Northern Ontario but still have spots with 6 feet of piled up snow. It's nuts
So glad to see her getting along much better with the other goats. Thanks for another great video
12:30am Monday morning a tornado did hit in my area. we had some trees down, power outage and lost some buildings. thank goodness it was not as bad as it could have been.

Your results are being sent to my home state!
That makes me excited cos it's something from one of my favourite channels being sent to my state.
You are also a. Blessing. Thank you for your hours of work to include us. Into your life.
Gooood morning!!! We've been getting a lot of rain here in North Carolina and tornado warnings I hope y'all have a blessed day!!!
Also from NC. Stay safe in what is coming our way tomorrow! This weather's been crazy!
One my family’s favorites is taco soup is super easy filling and great as a leftover lunch!
Thanks guys!
I tend to save all my bones from different meats and when I have enough I make a bone broth from it and then I make a "everything but the kitchen sink" soup, just whatever I have on hand, meats veggies and usually wild or whole grain rice. What great memories mom and dad will have of your daughter. Very rare today.
Greetings from Wisconsin! Hey, I love watching you cook like today beef barley soup. I am learning from your cooking. Thanks for sharing! 😀❤👍🐐🐕🌴🌵🏡🌍😀
We are expecting rain this weekend. Still have plenty snowbanks left. I hope your back is better.
We do brucellosis testing too. It's scary to watch them draw blood. Can't imagine doing it myself. But I watched you do it. GOOD JOB!
morning, love to watch your morning chores and all of your pets and goats chickens. I am learning alot thanks have a pray no more snow!
One of my favorite soups is the Greek Lemon Rice soup, Avgolemono. I put chicken in mine as well. It calls for chicken stock and the chicken meat and is thickened with eggs. I know you have plenty of them. It might be a fun change of pace if you have not made it before.
If you put French drains around the top and sides of the goats' yard it would keep the run-off away from it. Even simple ditches would help.
We get rain here in the southern Blue Ridge like you guys get snow last year we had 100 + inches of rain, this year has started out the same.
Hello from sweden.
Update us on the sap. Do you get any maplesyrup this year.
Split pea & hambone
It's raining every day here Al. And it is quite cool for us... 23 degrees Celsius (don't laugh) and a bit windy. I don't have to water anything today. No animals yet, maybe next year. Soup looks yummy.
Wow! That’s a lot of moisture!!! Sure am praying you are feeling well! Those sweet animals depend on you.
Blessings to you and your sweet family!!🕊🙏♥️☺️🌞
found u guys like a week ago love the vids man keep it up!!!!
It is a sunny day here in the south west of Sweden 🇸🇪. About 62 degrees. Hopefully spring will be visiting you soon! 😎😘
I got roots in southwest Sweden. It is where smart people come from.
Italian chickpeas soup: Heat up garlic in olive oil with finely chopped rosemary and salt. Add caned or overnight soaked chickpeas. I living Australia Victoria and we are in a severe drought at the moment we haven’t had rain near a year now and it’s dreadful!
Riley Carmosin sad to hear that. Hope it starts raining soon.
Riley you want some of my rain?
I just make a basic beef stew, carrots, celery, onions, garlic, potatoes, beef, beef broth, salt pepper and a little extra onion and garlic via powdered spices and a thickener. All to taste as we usually are picky on flavors.
Goooood Evening Al ,
I received a few rain drops just after lunch time.

Rain, rain, go away come again some other day! Keep dry Al! Things are still looking great at Lumnah Acres can't wait to see your next project. I know that it's looking bad for rain this weekend too. Send that rain my way 🙋♀️ I'll take every last drop!
Cool and rainy in the midwest...all our snow from the weekend is gone now.
TFS!!!!

We get a lot motivated

Love u and keep it up
👍😊😊😊
Glad to see so much green pastures finally! I thought you wouldn’t melt all the snow till June/July. Keep on Keepin’ On!!
Where we live in the PNW, where it rains 9 months out of the year, we love our crockpot chilli!! Am anxious to try it out in my new cook pot like the one you have. Probably won’t take as long...but will be just as good!
That was a nice quote. Hugs and Prayers ya'll
Look at the ponding of the water... does it change where you want to put your new barn?
After surviving Hurricane Maria , that river gave me so much anxiety 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️. Hopefully you get better weather next week :)
Hello from Mississippi!
Been crazy rains and I think everything is flooded and water logged here!!
You asked what our favorite soup is. My favorite is baked potato soup with cheddar cheese sprinkled on top! Yum!!
Remember Al when you said you were looking forward to mud?
I am just not the rain! lol
Crazy how fast the snow melts. Spring has sprung.
Rain and storms coming again for me I hope your snow is done for the season
Come to Missouri, we have weather like that nearly everyday
Good morning!!
Nice to see the snow melting!!
Love Figaro playing with the dog!
good day to you Al, Gina & Olivia !! thanks for sharing another awesome update and adventures on & off the homestead !! 👨🌾🎥👍✝
We had a F2 Tornado hit 5 miles from home (De). Thank the Lord we are ok. Prayers for those who lost homes and businesses. Our favorite soup…Split Pea soup! 😊❤❤❤❤❤
You're in Delaware? Me too!
Just had a terrible thunderstorm ⛈ here in Denver. Erratically loud. Animals are talking strangely. Lol. Be safe, everyone. God bless.

Good morning, Lumnahs! We had BBQ ribs last night following your recipe in a recent video! Delicious!! Thank you! I'm praying for you all that your back will be better, the weather will improve, and the work of your hands will be fruitful. You all are a blessing to us too. Happy Easter!
Glad y'all are safe and no damage from all the rain! We had pretty good storms last night too. We like Cream of Broccoli soup. Taco soup too.
"No such thing as a good day without knowing a bad day" yup
Love the fact that your goats are getting used to Hope now. I love your channel and contents - I can always learn something new from you. Hope you have better weather soon. I live in California and I really appreciate that you always remind me to look at things from different perspectives - be thankful, be kind and be resourceful. Hope one day I will can be a homesteader to raise my own chickens and have freshly laid eggs. For now, I grow as much as vege and fruits my time and space allowed.
Good morning!! Hopefully soon it will start drying up for y’all. We are suppose to be getting a lot of rain tomorrow.
We need the rain where I live, I live in western Canada on the prairies and it's been very dry this spring, Love your little Hope I'm glad she is fitting in well Have a wonderful Easter weekend, God Bless. Your soup looks good
In that light those eggs looked blue! Gorgeous!
Good morning. We got hit with thunderstorms and hail. Last night the wind gusts was 60 mph
Mud and egg season, here too. We are as tired of snow as you are, but the water was really needed!
