About zant, one of the most popular theories as to why zant dealt the killing blow to ganondorf is the fact that Zant got a fraction of the power housed in Ganondorf. Zant was the last thing keeping him alive that long.

Hey Dobbs, love your videos man, but 1 correction. The reason Majoras Mask doesnt do anything in BoTW is because at the end of Majoras Mask, the Happy Mask Salesman confirms that the evil has left the mask once you defeat Majoras Mask.
Or it's not in the child timeline and the Happy Mask Salesman got it out of Termina safely. There's clearly power in it in Breath of the Wild due to the eyes still glowing, something it doesn't do st the end of MM.
@@coryfreake9070 Possible, but from my understanding of the very skewed timeline, BoTW is the culmination where all the timelines re-converge. So it would still end up, if thats the case, as the mask no longer has the evil within
@@wesfullen9163 Breath of the Wild was never confirmed to be in a reformed timeline. I'm pretty sure when people questioned the nature of Ganon when BotW came out, they hinted at it being in the downfall timeline in an interview.
@@coryfreake9070Sadly no. They said that they’ll leave it up to the players imagination, and remember the facts. The downfall timeline doesn’t have Rito, and the Zora are similar to their original OoT selves. The Mirror of Twilight can be found destroyed, which is only destroyed in the Child Timeline (and I doubt a random enemy could just walk up to it and destroy it), and the fact that the Majora’s Mask is even in the game at all proves that it’s most likely that the timelines came back together. Sure, Majora’s Mask may have a little power, but it’s also heavily implied that the Happy Mask Salesman made a bunch of replicas and sold them. Evidence by the fact that even in the downfall timeline, ALBW Link just has one on his wall. And, if it was still completely powered, then BOTW Link wouldn’t be able to wear it without it completely taking control. Majora’s Mask isn’t weak, and Link is still human, so Majora could easily take him over (I mean, he does have some darkness in his heart, since Dark Link wouldn’t exist. And I know that only the Hero of Hyrule and the Hero of Time have Dark Links, but that just further proves that Link isn’t completely emotionless and always on the moral high ground.)
@@moriichi5218 Rito in BotW and WW are completely biologically and culturally different, the OoT Zora still exist in OoX, that's also not the mirror of Twilight, just a really, really bad fan theory. Also, Majora's Mask only works in Termina, same thing with the Fierce Deity Mask. If you look at the inspiration for the Deities of Majora's Mask you'd know this.

If you read the stone plates it says that she does in fact use her own scales. Read the legend of the white scales.
As a Diehard Tetra Fan (my favorite video game character) now knowing we almost had a spin off Tetra Solo Game… It hurts almost as much as knowing Coraline 2 at this point isn’t going to happen

Ganondorf gave Zant some of his power so Zant could take over Hyrule. Ganondorf was going to use his power to live a fatle blow, like he did at the begging of the game, but had some power in Zant. Zant snapped his neck as a way of saying Ganondorf does not get his power back, as it was given. Same thing happend with Midna and Zelda, kinda

Yona being a thing makes sense imho, given that as the heir to the throne/successor to the throne, Sidon is expected to make an heir of his own. Not to mention SidLink didn't make sense. He's the brother in law that doesn't hate us even though we didn't protect his sister who wanted to marry us... and Link knew Sidon when Sidon was a very young child (which makes shipping Sidlink romantically is actually toxic).
Link and Sidon would make much more sense as wingmen for one another than as romantic partners.
Not to mention the many hints towards link and Zelda being in a romantic relationship I don't see how this ship would make sense but everybody has their own opinions.

So, when it came down to Zant and Ganondorf (Fact 20), i haven't played the game in years, but i feel like i remember, due to Ganondorf swearing to Zant to help Zant gain power, they became connected, maybe Ganondorf using Life Energy to bring Zant back, or something... imo, Zant dying weakened Ganondorf, and when Ganondorf almost got killed by Link, Ganondorf could have thought he was seeing things, but before moving on to the afterlife, Zant broke his own neck, snapping the kast of the life firce they shared, killing Ganondorf himself, probably out of spite that Ganondorf never made good on his word, and from that moment both Zant and Ganondorf have died!
Yes, Zant thought of Ganondorf as a god, when Zant died, I think he realized Ganon used him for gain, and he was never going follow though. I believe as Ganon was dying, he saw Zant and then that happened.

Hot take: Yona is amazing and sidlink is toxic due to the fact mipha, sidons older sister loved link romantically and link met sidon when he was still a child plus they have a brotherly bond just my opinion tho

11:00 Actually Phantom hourglass is a different universe. In beginning, link goes into the ghost ship which teleports him to a different dimension where the game happened. After beating final boss, link gets back in his original timeline(windwaker). So it's all right if there's change in the character of Frog

I would like to point out that Calamity Ganon wasn't A full reincarnate, if one at all. I forgot the details, but it is stated or implied somewhere that the two Calamities were TotK's Ganondorf's wrath ebbing up from the earth since Zelda time-traveled back 20,100 years.
That or this is just a theory of mine... I forget everything, so I don't know where I heard this.

No they're not. Link can flirt with countless NPCs, all of the romantic dialogue was only added in the English version, and Nintendo made Zelda's English voice actress apologize on Twitter for saying that they are in love in an interview.

Nope. The manga writers were carefully monitored throughout the OoT manga to the point where they needed a reason for Link to take his hat off. They only got freedom to start making their own thing during the development of the Twilight Princess Manga.

This is the Windfish's dream, not Link's. You'd know that Koholint wasn't fake if you'd played the game. The Windfish exists outside of Koholint. Dethl being able to keep the Windfish dreaming and everything else with the history of the island us testament to how real it is. Marin even gets her wish in the true ending. Someone who doesn't exist can't just suddenly exist. Even if it was Link's dream, Marin is still nothing like Zelda.

Link also woke up in a stranger's bed delirious and injured, of course he's going to be confused. Marin's response to this also sements her as her own character completely seperate from Zelda right from the get go.

2:00 I'm pretty damn sure this is completely false in every way. Calamity Ganon has nothing to do with a failed reincarnation, it's something created by the Ganondorf under Hyrule Castle. People figured this out months ago when TotK released, hell they even speculated it from the first TotK teaser. The change from Malice to Gloom may make it odd and confusing, but Calamity Ganon is definitely just a creation made by Ganondorf's power. The seal binding Ganondorf under the castle has been weakening over time, and the Calamity is a manifestation of his power that happens as he gets closer to breaking free. There's a lot to back this up, such as the location for where both Ganondorf and the Calamity emerge being from under the castle.
Calamity Ganon is 10,000 years old and was created because Ganondorf wasn’t able to reincarnate so he gave up and became the calamity. The part where he says that if any of them fail to reincarnate they become a calamity isn’t true though.
@@shadowsniper37 Even then, he still created the Calamity, and to say he "became" it is debatable as that has never once been stated and is purely speculation, without that much evidence to back it up, in fact there's arguably more evidence against it. If he himself had become the Calamity, he would have recognized Link for defeating the Calamity he created, but he didn't and only knew because the Master Sword cut him when it shattered. If he'd actually become the Calamity, you'd think he'd retain at least a few of those memories, especially of it's defeat, but he has none of them. I think it's solely a matter of he created it, but didn't turn into it. Could he have had some influence over it? Probably, yeah. I'd say it would be similar to how he has control over the monsters, being able to resurrect them when he has enough power. The gaps between the Calamity's existence could be akin to how he waits for the Blood Moon and his power peaks to bring back monsters, the Calamity takes a lot so he took 10,000 years between the two known appearances of the Calamity because it took that long to get that much back with the seal in place.

@@catvids5854 she's not recognized as an actual Zelda character though? She's non canon, it doesn't matter who made her. On top of that, it wasn't even the Zelda team who made her, they allowed the game to be made because it was a HOMAGE to the Zelda series. The creators of Dynasty Warriors likes Zelda and wanted to work with Zelda Team to make a Zelda game. Team told them no but that they would allow them to use some characters from the Zelda series to make a Dynasty Warriors style game for fans of both series, and due to non canonicity gave them creative liberties. The ONLY Hyrule Warriors that is canon to the series is Age of Calamity however.

You can make an OFFICIAL statement retconning canon events as a creator for example. But not once have Nintendo OR Zelda team called her canon. Wording is important otherwise misinformation is spread
