@@nexbil01 I have made up some backstories for what a Mr House victory at Hover Dam & what the BoS would do if the Minutemen destroyed the Institute & the railroad was left alone.
It is going to lead to a Mr House/BoS clash 30 years after the Hover Dam (witch I have not yet made up.)
I will give a extract from both in tow new comments, if you want to see more let me know.
@@nexbil01 3 Days after the events of the battle the person who bestowed the title of General of the Minutemen Preston Garvey, walked up to the entrance of the Boston Airport and requested to speak with the leader of the Brotherhood. Impressed with his decision to just walk up the front door I go out to see what he has to say. Preston said that although he wants the Minutemen to protect the people at a minute’s notice he is able to see that despite the fact they took down the Institute there are many other threats the Commonwealth faces on a daily basis and offers a proposal.
The Minutemen who have a home field advantage would act as the policemen of the local small-scale conflicts & other internal actions between statements and when found give the Brotherhood the location of any tech that meets our standards (giving a list of some tech as proof). While the Brotherhood would be forced on the high level threats to the Commonwealth like super mutants, gunners, synths & that if we do not interfere with the internal working of the region apart from gathering tech we can do what we like. Also the Minutemen would generate a level of frees food & water for the Brotherhood up to a point for free and given monthly from there settlements, would allow for joint running of S Hills as a show of peace. Due to everything they had done with no expectation of a reward & that their leader is a Sentinel I accepted his offer.
Then the railroad’s leader Desdemona did the same thing a day later, asking that we stop hunting synths in exchange for a large amount of tech they had collected over the years including PAM an AI built into an autorun body with the ability to predict the future with the right data. Unlike the with Minutemen who proved they could be trussed by way of my Sentinel, this faction wildly and knowable has the very thing we have sought to destroy, I call my other officers & ask for their input. After a number of charged debates with the members of the Brotherhood that I choice to remove myself from as to not be seen as taking a side.
This need to be a mod. Like dealing with politics and army invasions? That'll be awesome
Yeah, I always thought so. But unless Bethesda or some big group of modders does this it'll never happen.

I wish they had a better ending sequence in Fallout 4. I get that they didn't want to tie down Fallout 4 to a particular ending but they left way too many unanswered questions.

Love this fan lore. For me, I thought it would be effective (assuming the Institute is still around) to teleport in several stealth troopers onto the roof to eliminate rooftop offense, i.e. Gunners wielding missile launchers and fat mans (men?).
Once neutralized, they'd slip inside and go directly for the control room. Stealth boys utilized, they'd eliminate Captain Wes (brutally, per the General's order) and use a replicant version of the Captain to 1) release door control on the main floor, allowing Minutemen to advance and breach the stronghold, and to 2) begin giving Gunners in the field false information, leading them to strategically-advantageous locations for the Minutemen.
Once the Minutemen have begun their assault on the front lobby, the Institute troops would pick off reinforcements coming in from the rest of the base, creating a two-front fight for the Gunners.
Elsewhere, Minutemen would use pre-established squads armed with artillery grenades to quash the mislead Gunners, likely decimating them.
If done properly, Gunner high-command and at least a third of the Gunners' presence could be destroyed in an evening. And as a final deception, use the Captain Wes synth to order a large contingent of troops to Quincy under the guise of providing backup for a fight.
Once they arrive, to the confusion of all Gunners there, the trap will be spring: an assembly of Minutemen will appear on all sides, and using heavy Power Armor troopers, Vertibirds taken from the fallen BoS, and artillery, will grind the Gunners into the dust in a fitting piece of irony - where the Minutemen once almost died to Gunner hands in Quincy, the roles were now reversed.
The Minutemen would fight this final battle solo - unaided by the Institute so the triumph of Quincy couldn't be corrupted or tainted as a purely Minutemen victory - BUT, some troopers would be armed with Institute recorders using holotapes, to film the victory for later use during potential patriotic holidays or as propaganda to boost morale and recruit more militia.

Reason on why the brotherhood helps the minuteman, they believe they’re the best hope and keep anyone from tech.
mostly cause it's a cheap way of getting rid of the gunners without losing troops.

What I'm trying to do is a history of the first decade of the commonwealth after the fall of the Institute. I've done faction videos for the brotherhood, the minutemen, and the railroad/institute. I may re-do them because I've gotten a much better text to speech converter since I first made them.
Coming in September is a video on the raiders, ghouls, and super mutants of the commonwealth, which I'm calling the raider war.
Future videos will go into far harbor and nuka world and possibly into the glowing sea if there is a call for it.
I'd love to see if Sanctuary Hills expands into Vault 111. With Sturges, BoS support, and the Mechanist, imagine Sanctuary Hills becoming the war forge of the Minutemen with a refitted Vault 111 turned into a massive factory complex.
I have this dream that Fallout 5 would be about identifying the Gunner leaders, eliminating them and their followers, or at least a DLC to go with 4. Well done video very enjoyable.

I love this, me and a friend made a fallout universe out of this where a full on war/nuclear/air and pacific war goes on, I'd recommend using mods like gunner outfits pack which would make these better!

I kind of made my own little operation with mods Fallout 4 when I was playing with the Minutemen and trying to fight the gunners with a few kind of mods that make the Gunners a little bit more dangerous

The gunners seem to be loosely organized and I think you could destroy their smaller outposts without them even caring if you were suttle about it.
small secret. The gunners in the commonwealth are not their best troops. In fact it's a backwater assignment for the gunners.

I imagined I would only call the about WWE style after all settlements are now fully fortified, and troops are armed and armored after wiping out their first and second occupation of all positions. Firmed up w my repainted/refurbished pre-war T-60 stationed everywhere they fit well
@@JoJoRogain the canon part is that the gunners don't originate in the commonwealth. It's never stated where they come from but it's made clear that it's not boston.
The most reasonable explanation I have heard in chat rooms is new york city and that they have something to do with galaxy news radio (GNR)

If the minuteman have all the settlements and let's say the maximum capacity of settlers is about 22 or 23 based on your charisma and let's say that it's settlement can offer at list 10 to go to war then that means the minuteman have an army of almost 400 men
Of course they are also receiving troops from diamond city, bunker hill, and goodneighbor as well as vault 81 and of course random scavengers and other wastelanders.

@@mirak8417 and there's modded settlements which I mean in this guys lore the larger settlements like sanctuary good neighbor diamond city and bunker hill probably grew in population with a large migration
that's a gameplay limit due to the shrinking of the landmass to allow the game to be playable. Reality is much bigger, so its easy to pad the numbers by at least x4 and you could easily go up to x10 population from in game, as the area of the game IRL is massive. It takes a minute of walking to in the game to cross all of Concord and its actually 25 square miles of area in real life. That would take a day on foot, if you didn't have to stop for anything. Boston is almost 50 square miles. Additionally, the distance between Concord and Boston is another 20 miles. By car that would take about half an hour to drive. In real life, again, take most of a day walking, but you can get to Boston in mere minutes in the game. The seating capacity in Fenway Park (Diamond City) is 40,000.

Nicely narrated this is what I have envision on my MM hope there a MOD that actually can let me do that. Since I already have ton of MM mod install from waste land to lushness. All road fix building repair all brahim transform into vehicle, settlements on well know areas. But Marcy and alot of other npc still say it shitty.

Also having many questions about where these minute men patrols just appear, and how elite minutemen snipers just happen to be in any good spot.
2 sources, firstly some of these are former minutemen that returned to service so they already had experience. Secondly, from the time that the commonwealth government asked the gunners to leave to the start of the war it was 6 months that the minutemen used to train new troops and for already trained minutemen to watch the gunners.
They in game appear similarly in game heavier armored and better armed after you do enough minutemen stuff
Very well done, 4.5/5. Only things missing are the Sole Survivor and maybe trouble or help from Institute remnants.
In my railroad video the institute left the commonwealth trying to figure out what to do. But they will most likely be back in a future video down the line.

I've spent a lot of time writing my own fanfiction that actually spans decades. It's a lot but I'm going to share a summary.
Basically, in my version, the Minutemen are put up against the Brotherhood who have been demanding food and supplies from local settlements as well as a Gunner/Raider Coalition. I incorporated popular and my personal favorite mods into the story as well as many of the Creation Club pieces. My fanfiction is still being worked on, with the Commonwealth States of East America being drawn into a war with the much larger NCR from the West who are (secretly) ran by survivers of the Institute who infiltrated the NCR and patiently waited to assume control. It starts off slow but takes years to unfold. I like writing in my spare time or on long trips with nothing much to do. Infact, I think while I was playing the game for my fanfiction research I spent more time writing than I did playing the game. Lol
The game really does have a lot of writing hooks in it. You can take a side quest and easily tease out a story from it.
You should think about developing your story out into a video. It's gratifying to see your work up on the screen and of course gratifying when other appreciate it.

The NCR or This version of the Minutemen
As of the end of the war, the minutemen still only number about 500. It will take a major migration of people coming into the commonwealth to make them match the size of the NCR.

@@Nicpickens I don't have the know how and the people that I have talked to about this tell me that I would have to tear the game down practically to the roots and rebuild it.
Since the game is story driven by the main quest I would have to tear all that stuff out and rebuild the main quest line and they tell me that's like the most difficult type of modding to do.
But I do hear that sim settlements 2 is pretty similar to this concept so you might look at that.

An NCR and minutemen crossover is a ways down the road. My next video will continue the story of the commonwealth and will be out towards the end of the month.
I would love to do an NCR story out west but we'll have to wait for the fallout new vegas or fallout 2 fan mods to finish.

Nexbil01 no really i took out Gunner Plaza and Quincy with just 3 Railroad heavy's and 2 Militia men and 3 Ranger minutemen and Preston garvey
I made my own story for the minutemen if i rewrote the entire campaign.
In it you are instructed as general to attend a meeting when the castle is retaken and form a meeting with more settlements to begin defending newer settlement and diamond city from the raiders. I might do my own campaign story when i get a chance.

I plan on doing a BoS run through and my character helps the minutemen with the power and tech of the BoS my character also convinced Maxxon to take in survivors of the railroad and institute to better rebuild the commonwealth I also got a mod that includes the first responders so they have a huge hospitals and small clinics all over under the protection of the United Commonwealth Coalition

What mods did you use for the Minutemen?
Primarily the "We are the minutemen" mod but I also used the minutemen lab coat for the doctors and creation club had a minutemen armor paint job for free one day so I downloaded that. I also used the classic army helmets mod since it had a minutemen paint job
