Hello everyone this is day one of my five day trip, to Lake Taghkanic state Parkin the beautiful rolling hills of Columbia county in the historic Hudson Valley of New York State. I don't get to tent camp in a campground very often, I really enjoyed this one. I got to use almost all my camping gear, and you know I'm a camping gear nut, we are currently RVing at the beach for two weeks, swimming with the sharks, and having a great time. Our state parks are very nice, I had to reserve this spot nine months ago, the spot where I was was the best I had ever camped on , in a campground. I really appreciate you watching , I hope you are all well, cheers. John
You are well prepared with all your gear and your own shower, kitchen and sleeping tent. I can't believe how well organised you are. Dinner and breakfast, I know who to invite when I go camping 🤣 Love the Hammock. Thank you also for showing us around the grounds. It definitely is a beautiful place. I would definitely enjoy a stay there John. You have the pitches and the club house if there is a bunch of you. It reminded me of a scout hut. A really cool set up. Heavy rain doesn't even touch the edges like the omelette. Ha ha! Yeah lovely place. I trust you came away chilled out. Mark
Lake Taghkanic State park, is one of the best old fashion campgrounds, I had to reserve a spot nine months in advance. I love the sound of rain on my tent I sleep like a baby.Next episode I do some lake swimming and kayaking, I love your wild swim videos. No doubt I was very chilled , now we are RVing on the Atlantic Ocean for two weeks very close to home, sharks have been preventing us from swimming in the ocean. I don't want to sound selfish , the sharks were here first, and is a good indicator that the ocean is healthy , thats more important than my swimming thank you so much for watching I hope you are well Your friend ~ John

What a nice camping spot, you have an outdoor kitchen and a 1 BR 1 BA with a wrap around deck there! Wow, those eggs look jumbo, so those are the eggs. And that sammy looks yummy. Beautiful forest around you and I do believe that is the correct ratio of chicken to Caesar salad :) I'll be working on a Florida, NY video soon :)

If I made… You gave that park… That beautiful serene Park campgrounds and lakes and trails no justice at all who cares about your campsite your tent or your pooper! You do know camper boy… That they have beautiful clean sanitary showers with hot water and they also come with toilet bowls?
P31 is the premiere site at that park. Its the "rec room" btw. Lockable private full bathrooms. My 10th year there.

I watched this video yesterday and left a comment, but yt was pretty much bent on deleting all my comments yesterday. Including the one I left on this video. I don't know if you get the comment notifications, but hopefully you saw that I did comment. This happens to me a LOT. Some days are worse than others.
I have had the same problem in the past, not to worry, I know your a great supporter, I have been camping for the last two weeks using my cell as a hot spot, I haven't been able to watch much You tube. Have you been to Bash Bish Falls?
Yes I believe I have been to Bash Bish Falls, but I did not know what it was called. It's not too far from, one of my potential travel paths to the Taconic Parkway. Once I had a little time to kill before heading for home ,so I visited the top of the waterfalls and made a cuppa tea. There's a small parking area to pull over, and it's a short walk to the river just above the falls. It's been a while since I've been there. There is so many beautiful little places, it's a wonderful place to visit.👍
