idk if you look for requests but i’d like to suggest defiler of taboos from bloodstained curse of the moon. i’ve had your cover of moonlit blade and depths of despair (and plenty of your other covers) in my VGM playlist on spotify for years now, but defiler of taboos was always my favorite track from COTM1 and would love to hear your take on it
I've never understood why Super Castlevania IV is called well....Super Castlevania IV when its clearly an SNES Remake of the 1st Castlevania. Awesome cover btw.
I could be wrong, but I think when it was localized for North America, it was intended as a sequel to Simon's Quest. When Iga took over and straightened out the timeline, he changed it back to as it was intended for the original Japanese release: simply a remake/re-imagining of the first game

Yeah the way the game starts even makes it seem like it would be after simons quest as dracula comes out of his grave and at the end of castlevania 2 we see Simon at draculas grave site lol The first game and castlevania chronicles show him being resurrected by an evil cult

Levels and gameplay are different is more like a reboot.
