Hey everyone. I hope you're all doing well. I was planning on uploading this cover for January but in the end I wanted to take my time putting this cover together rather than rushing it. I haven't done a cover from the castlevania games yet so I thought I'd do a Metal cover of Simons theme from Castlevania IV. Yes I know, doing a Metal/Rock cover of Simons theme is hardly original judging by the plethora of covers of the tune here on UA-cam, but I thought why not. Hopefully my rendition will stand out.
I made sure not to completely deviate from the original tune. For example, keeping in the pipe organs on the appropriate parts and playing the riffs and parts of the song as close to the original version.

Just so you guys are wondering, I have re-uploaded my Simons theme cover as the audio in the original upload was quiter than the audio track I had exported from my DAW and my other cover videos. I believe this was due to a mistake I made before rendering the video in my editing software, which in turn lowered the volume of the video. So I have corrected the issue by re-uploading this cover. Apologies for the confusion and inconvenience.
I was wondering why the other video had the Unlisted tag. Sounds good in both but thanks for the volume correction. Cheers!

Besides maybe going a bit quieter in the bridge and letting the song build back up, this is probably the best cover of this track. Too many "metal" covers go heavy on style without any concern for the source's structure or mood

It's still so brilliant that this song plays again for the second phase of the fight with Dracula. It's as if the game is filling you with the confidence you need to finish everything, rather than intimidate you even further. Amazing cover as well, not many others do the original justice like this does.

You, sir, get one of my very few likes for remixes/covers of this song. The reason being is you let the bass shine and didn't drown it out with distorted guitars and keys like so many do and fail to give the bass the credit and attention it deserves. The bass is a very prominent part in this track, and you let it have it's place. Thank you.

DUDE!!!! this is *beyond* amazing!!!! ....and just as i was about to close it and go to something else, that friggin SOLO reeled me back in!!! (as a guitarist myself, i know its certainly not easy to come up with chops like that) ..Castlevania 4 had the BEST music of ANY game series (in my opinion) and YOU, sir, have done it justice! ...like someone before had mentioned...this deserves wayy more views! .

Actually the organ sounds you hear were from an organ VST. The Yamaha was just for show in this video. However, indeed there are some good presets on that keyboard
