Artificial intelligence in Ukraine, 1979

This contribution from the GDR science magazine "Umschau" from 1979 is about research into cybernetics and artificial intelligence.
During a visit to the Institute for Cybernetics at the Ukrainian Academy in Kiev, a talking computer is presented as a sensation of technical progress.
Viktor Glushkov, the director of the institute, explains in an interview why the concept of intelligence applies and what he thinks of the thesis of the unpredictability of robots.
