  • This video details the final steps to get a homeschool diploma. Make sure to check your state's homeschool laws and abide by them. Once all requirements are met, this video tells how to get to the graduation and get a diploma. I am a homeschool mom of 4 kids in 3rd through 9th grade. Join me here in my channel as I share what I have learned while homeschooling for the past 10 years.

This video is an answered prayer! We’re in Texas and my oldest is starting 9th grade so this was so helpful! Thank you so much!

I'm so happy you put the disclaimer up first! So important that viewers understand that. I just sat through a homeschool intensive class at a convention. Great information here!

Thank you so much! My daughter starts 9th this year, but, because of her birthdate- she had to start late in Christian brick n mortar school for 1st & 2nd. Now, we’ve homeschooled her since 3rd grade and she’s one year ahead … took algebra 1 and freshman English last year… so this is great info so we can graduate early in Texas and start her in college early 👏. She was ecstatic when she heard this … my lil’ bookworm 😉👍

I really enjoyed this. Believe it or not, after putting a lot of effort into preparing a transcript, and none into a diploma, my daughter applied to a college that wanted a diploma, not a transcript. Sooooo - while it's generally true that the transcript is the only thing that matters - it's not ALWAYS true. (BTW, one can make a very nice diploma on Canva )

hi, so i was homeschooled in a way where i would use books and the internet to study.
so i didn’t rlly get grades. what do i do?
also i didn’t rlly have courses, i just would use apps like khan academy and school books as well as personal studies books.
how do i list courses from that?

Im in the exact same position as you, i used khan academy and duolingo, i think you should have you parents test you on what you know, and make a transcript on that, thats what i gathered but you may want to do more research,
