- The 2025 #Rivian #R1S and #R1T get a new tri-motor setup that produces over 800 horsepower, and a more potent quad-motor setup delivering more than 1,000. This is one of the quickest and most capable SUVs you can buy, and it can go over 400 miles on a charge. .............................................................

Why are people keep comments about cars depreciate? If you have money buy it , life is too short.
The 2025 Rivian R1S is an All American brand - truly phenomenal. I own two of them and have driven some of the best from Maserati and BMW, but nothing comes close to the Rivian's performance and sheer presence. Its environmental footprint is a remarkable 93%, compared to just 28% for gas vehicles. The storage space is incredibly practical with both front and rear trunks.
Even though Apple CarPlay will be added soon, the current interface is so intuitive and beautifully designed that I don’t miss it at all. The premium audio package is incredible, on par with systems in $250,000 cars. The vegan leather interior could be a bit more plush, but this helps keep the range at a solid 410 miles - impressive for an SUV with over 800 horsepower.
The unique colors and stunning design of the R1S turn heads everywhere I go. Charging at home is a breeze, and with a $120 electron adapter, I can charge at any Tesla supercharger. It's also compatible with EVGO and Electrify America chargers. I recommend leasing because EV technology is advancing rapidly, and you don’t want to be stuck with an outdated model in a few years.
Unlike Tesla, which often has build quality issues and poor customer service, Rivian excels in both. The R1S is a premium vehicle, and though it’s an investment at around $100,000 fully loaded, it’s worth every penny. These vehicles are incredibly reliable, with virtually no maintenance needed for the first 2-3 years.
In the Northeast US, it costs about 7.5 cents per mile to charge at home (28 miles per hour charge speed), with a Rivian home charger, compared to 25-32 cents per mile for gas vehicles at a gas station. The camera system and overall tech in the Rivian are outstanding. Owning the R1S has been a game-changer for me - it's everything I wanted in a vehicle and more. Talk and listen to Rivian owners that have owned or leased these vehicles for a while and avoid listening to just car reviewers or bystanders expressing theoretical opinions. It’s a unique car and it’s absolutely the best SUV in the market in its size.
I may lease the 2025 model.
You missed (after looking right at it) the built-in air pump. It works great, I use it all the time.
And yes, you can charge at pretty much all Tesla SuperChargers. Just need a $200 adapter.
Awesome vehicle. Some nice updates for the refresh.
Awesome
Correction: The 2 motors in front for the Quad are not the same as the rear ones. More HP in the rear for a better balance.
R1S is my fav. suv and am considering purchasing a gen2 dual motor.....only thing missing is a "true" sun shade, which is a shame, but there's always glamazon.
They have an adapter for Tesla Supercharging yes?
I saw somewhere else that it uses teslas CHARGERS . So assuming it’s true, guess it comes with that unit or adapter
Yes, you get an adapter. It will switch to NACS eventually.
That Incredible Performance Acceleration Made You Say 'HEE HEE".
Your vid’s keep getting better mofo bro!
How many cu ft of cargo space with the 3rd low folded down?
Looks like a sweet ride!
About 105 cubic feet.
@@carbuzzcom Wow, so even as a two-row, it has that much cargo space? Alright, I need to test drive one.
@@MadLadsAnonymous it's a 3-row. That's with the second and 3rd rows folded.
I have a feeling starting at $125K - 135K.
Rivian is for Mandalorian.
Does Rivian give you a Tesla supercharger adapter?
Love most of it, but the price and lack of Apple CarPlay are deal breakers. I was all set to place an order back before the boosted prices.
They are working on a feature to read and respond to texts. Once it has that, the lack of CarPlay won't matter.
@@carbuzzcomSure, like every other company that thinks they can do better. Until it actually happens, it’s vaporware.
The included infotainment is vastly better than CarPlay.
Ever since I got my R1S, I haven't once wished it had Android Auto. The software suite is great
Why do u say 1000hp,when this is a tri motor (850hp) 😂😂
Calm down with the emojis
Too harsh and choppy ride for family suv.
Ride quality is just like contractor's f150 base trim
I LOVE EV'S and the direction they are taking us, but being a when, "SHTF," person, do we have an idea of how resistant they are to EMP pulse charge attacks? Not saying that it will happen, but I'd be naive to think it won't ever happen. Right now, I love Hybrids since we get the best of both worlds, but even Hybrids have an electronically run system. We bought our Santa Fe Hybrid SUV and found out that everything in it is controlled by digital electronics. I don't remember if our Prius was digitally controlled, even when the gas kicked on.
Any car built in this century is cooked if if they’re hit an EMP. Gasoline infrastructure will be just as difficult to access as electricity in a post-apocalypse world. Whether or not your Rivian runs will probably be the least of your worries.
@@HatWearingDog Definitely a good point. Thankfully we kept my Dad's MadMax'd out 68' Camaro. Pretty much no digital circuitry and I'd say that it's EMP safe. LOL
If the US gets hit by an EMP, you have more to worry about than your car.
@@i2ambler2002 However, in this case, the video is about an EV truck so I'm addressing my concern accordingly. I'm already part of a Prep Group and we always make sure "everything," else is covered, when it comes to other factors of when SHTF. I'm now addressing the transportation part of survival.
I whish they would put money in efficiency instead of ridiculous performance nobody cares and needs
These are insanely efficient for what they are. The tri-motor gets the same range as the dual motor. The quad motor is less efficient, but still crazy good range.
@@TheBowerbird that may be but ita a solution for a problem we dont have (the need for speed;)
@@daniel-ino What? If a customer doesn't want speed they can get the still faster than the peasants dual motor base.
Paid advertisement?
No
Too expensive and will depreciate rapidly in the first 2 years
You're too poor anyways and can't even afford it. Why worry?
OK, if it doesn't suit you don't buy it
I bet he does not afford to buy it after 2 years depreciation lmao
It's $74K. Not too expensive at all for what you get. You can buy Chevys that cost more.
@@UncleAlpha1 based on reading your comment , you are also poor or the opposite, have money but you are an employee. Your whole life will change if you’re fired.
