- AFTER DRIVING ACROSS THE PHILIPPINES, AND STOPPING AT COOL DINERS... WE MADE IT TO MANILA!
This video starts off in the beautiful city of Sorsogon. We start our day with some volcano views along the coastal road and then head off across Bicol. Along the way, we stop by for the first time at a "Bigg's Diner"... this classic Filipino food chain started in Bicol back in 1983, and has the coolest vibe! I love the setup nearby Mt. Mayon! Speaking of cool vibes, we also found an amazing Smoke House Restaurant in Quezon Province. Such a random awesome find!
We continue our journey into the evening, and power on all the way to Manila. Actually we stopped by in Cavite and picked up my fiancee Therine!
WE MADE IT!

I met Kulas at the airport when I was 7. He was a really nice guy and took the time to get a picture with my whole family at the airport. 😂

My kids grew up in the US and i call my youngest daughter “Kulasa”. When they were in their 20’s i found out she thought i was calling her “Colossal”! Yes. She was a bit chubby😊 but beautiful inside and out.

Kulas typically participate in activities together and have a deep sense of camaraderie and loyalty towards each other1. Additionally, in Tagalog, “kulás” is a term for a male servant, while “kúlas” (accented differently) is an obscure term for odd numbers2. 🙌

During the late 70's to early 80's that place, Camalig, Albay was very Challenging Place. By the time hits 6:00pm., very few people walking on the Streets of Camalig. It was NPA Infested Area. At night, when you heard a Gun Shot, do not moved from where you are until morning.😄

Therine isn't the prettiest girl, not the most beautiful and sexy physically our there but truly she is the most beautiful inside that her beauty radiates for her inner self for people to appraciate. Kulas is a very deep person choosing long and secure relationship than a toxic Filipina with a pretty face, sexy body but an empty persona. Therine is full of grace and confidence to face the intricacies of a married life.

We know these few days are packed but if you could find time when all's settled down [haha!], hope you don't mind letting us know how much fuel you spent for this (2024 car) trip from your barangay to Maragondon+SLEX [without the Lopez detour which was an absolute surprise, btw] ü So far, we counted 3 days which is pretty "standard" Ro-ro we would think, but you did show a couple of areas with improved roadways. Cheers, stay safe and hurrah to finally making it and reuniting!
PS. Correct, omg, you're such a Kulas talaga: the old Manila Railroad Co. operated trains to Legazpi pre-WWII and gave rise to the popular "Bicol Express" phrase now more synonymous with the dish ü
PPS. Absolutely correct! "Daraga" is Bicol for "dalaga." Local name of majestic Mayon from legend is "Daragang Magayon," loosely: beautiful maiden/lass =D

Some of the volcanoes erupted decades ago and it erupted decades later and some didn't.
And they had those old railways in Bicol from Manila.
It was used back in the late 19th century actually.
Were they didn't have buses yet for transporting 🛤🚂
And when the buses came in for transporting the railroads were closed 🚌🚌✔🚂🚫
And the oldest buses in the Philippines was BLTBCo now DLTBCo and Philtranco.
There first bus was a van that was converted into a bus.
And the wheels looked like a bicycle 🚙➡🚲
And you went to Biggs which is a hamburger restaurant that was established more than 4 decades ago 🍔
And you had a hamburger with white cheese 🍔🧀⚪⚪⚪
And Kumar had some beef bestek with rice on the middle 🥩🍚

And Matnog is like 10 in a half hours away from Manila midnight trip less traffic.
And there was an eatery that they named it Kulas maybe it was inspired by you on the vlogs.
And they search Kulas and one of your vlog videos showed bwahahahahahahaha
And someone called you Kulas a decade ago from one of the people in Cagayan De Oro called you Kulas.
And they call you Saluk in Compostela called you Saluk which is backward for Kulas.
And you fetched Therine in Batangas.
Her real name was Katherine and she will gonna be Jennerman soon when you and Therine get married.
