The reason why the house on this neighborhood is great is because at that time in 2012-2013 when this pack was released speedbuild videos on youtube was popular and so EA do some research and build houses based of the 19 - 20th century era.
i love this world but a peeve I have with it is how flat the entire town is, no hills or anything, just a flat space with roads and buildings, it feels unfinished in a lot of parts, wish they had added more depth to the terrain and layout to it, the houses' interior and exteriors are some of the best ive seen though for sure

18:33 Mellow Manor has to be one of my favorite layouts because it's so, so ugly. They really went all out designing it to suit the family living there. 10/10 in terms of worldbuilding. Would never want to step foot in this house if it were real.
20:45 Also, in defense of all these bookcases, the Poks are kind of implied to enjoy reading? David always starts with a book in his inventory and Janet's bio describes her as "doing and saying everything by the book, no exceptions." You know, except accidentally falling for a criminal. My kneejerk reaction was to be reminded of that one little trend where people with money on social media got really into using books and bookcases solely as decoration in ways that just. Confused me, though. That "tip" to keep all your books in the bookcases backwards so it was all beige drove me INSANE. Pretty sure this house predates that trend by quite a bit, though, lol.

As soon as I learned Supernatural is going for Victorian style I know you will like Moonlight Falls.😂 Yes the suburbans are a little basic with the cream yellow sidings, but for EA I think less is more and I prefer a subdued color scheme than over doing it with 3 textures in one room. The Victorian mansions though... they are exceeding EA standards.... and a surprisingly good modern mansion!

Gross floors in a vampires house. Dude it's that ugly because of the centuries of people murdered in the house. It's the blood, gutts, bile and all. So yah that floor be gross lol.
What the actual hell it’s not even supposed to be a Victorian world LOLLL moonlight falls is fully based on the Pacific Northwest in the US and is their version of Forks Washington where twilight was filmed and they have even mentioned this if you read the world description of moonlight falls it has nothing to do with neither Victorian time or style the world itself is just based on Forks Washington..
@@Rekowcski btw the only reason moonlight falls have some Victorian style houses is only for the witches not because it has anything to do with Victorian worlds it’s purely based on forks Washington in the untied states that place is mystical, rainy and has the typical Pacific Northwest it has been confirmed that it’s based on that they even made twilight movie characters for the families in moonlight falls and even named the beach “ La Shove “ which refers to La Push beach in the twilight movies it was the Native American territory of the quileute tribe / the wolf clan
@@Rekowcski love that they even made their vampires have certain conditions that only twilight vampires have such as the sparkling / shimmering in the sun during day time and their fast speed while running something that only twilight came up with for their type of vampires😍
Terrible world. No sea, no diving option. Chaotic placed same cheap, small and crowded with old stuff houses. Terrible order of the city buildings, most important for work and public use are literally at the outskirts. Full of supernatural activity, all ugly sims, not a single good looking. Nothing interesting at the entire city. Bunch of empty lots named parks, but not a single tree. I suppose they are left for the player to build them, but come on, it's an unfinished business.

The very first house, the one you gave a 10, that exact same house is in Appaloosa plains as well. There it's a yellow house. Only reason I know is because I just watched your pets build overview part two. Just thought I'd share this useless fun fact 😅
bisssh i know what i will be watching in my bed later!
You and Whiny Brit should collab it would be so cool since you both have common dislikes in the sim games.
I’ve seen her thumbs in my recommended I’ll check her out x
As soon as I learned Supernatural is going for Victorian style I know you will like Moonlight Falls.😂
Yes the suburbans are a little basic with the cream yellow sidings, but for EA I think less is more and I prefer a subdued color scheme than over doing it with 3 textures in one room.
The Victorian mansions though... they are exceeding EA standards.... and a surprisingly good modern mansion!
lesson learned:
if you wanna do ugly, commit to it in EVERYTHING
Muito bom! Amo esse tipo de vídeo. Estou falando em português para você saber que tem inscritos brasileiros!
obrigado, eu amo meus inscritos brasileiros!
You should rate houses from University next!
I found a couple more gems:
17:51 19:28
Did they secretly make simmers build these houses back in 2012 because what happened there?? And where were those people before and after that?
i stand by my guess that the people who made this had nothing to do with sunset valley or riverview
@@Rekowcski I wonder if comparing the average result to when the world was released would reveal years when the builds were significantly better or worse
I realy like this idea nice 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😍 as were in house flipper checking the house so we choose the best house for our familse to get or we just choose from picking randomly 😂😁love this idea ✌️
The sims 4 could never
Never EVER
FINALLY ❤️
hope it was worth the wait haha
Hidden springs next ?

I miss playing as a Fairy! 🥴
I’m going to try one of each occult in the same house, I’ve never played as a fairy but it looks the most fun to me. Good to see u btw thanks for the continued support x
@@Rekowcski no problem, I like your content and I think you're funny 😊🥰
Gross floors in a vampires house. Dude it's that ugly because of the centuries of people murdered in the house. It's the blood, gutts, bile and all. So yah that floor be gross lol.
Try dragon valley!!! 🐉🐉
consider it on the poll x
What the actual hell it’s not even supposed to be a Victorian world LOLLL moonlight falls is fully based on the Pacific Northwest in the US and is their version of Forks Washington where twilight was filmed and they have even mentioned this if you read the world description of moonlight falls it has nothing to do with neither Victorian time or style the world itself is just based on Forks Washington..
Sorry I've never heard of twilight 😞
@@Rekowcski omg really? you mean all of the actual movies or just the connection to moonlight falls? I’m gonna cry if you meant the movies😭
@@Rekowcski btw the only reason moonlight falls have some Victorian style houses is only for the witches not because it has anything to do with Victorian worlds it’s purely based on forks Washington in the untied states that place is mystical, rainy and has the typical Pacific Northwest it has been confirmed that it’s based on that they even made twilight movie characters for the families in moonlight falls and even named the beach
“ La Shove “ which refers to La Push beach in the twilight movies it was the Native American territory of the quileute tribe / the wolf clan
@@Rekowcski love that they even made their vampires have certain conditions that only twilight vampires have such as the sparkling / shimmering in the sun during day time and their fast speed while running something that only twilight came up with for their type of vampires😍
Are you an architect? :)
no i'm a mathematician who likes to complain
Terrible world. No sea, no diving option. Chaotic placed same cheap, small and crowded with old stuff houses. Terrible order of the city buildings, most important for work and public use are literally at the outskirts. Full of supernatural activity, all ugly sims, not a single good looking. Nothing interesting at the entire city. Bunch of empty lots named parks, but not a single tree. I suppose they are left for the player to build them, but come on, it's an unfinished business.
