- e60 pillars are always peeling at the end of the pillar towards the dash. in this video i will show you how to remove the pillar and spray some adhesive. the adhesive i used i got from local automotive parts store. just give it a few sprays and be careful not to get over spray on the outside material. try not to get them in your fingers and smug glue on the material as well. easy to do and takes little time, get that pillar looking good again.

For the last half an hour, I’ve been scrolling down your channel videos and found that all my 03 525i problems have a video on on to fix it by you, thank you so much!
Can't wait till your airbag error removal video!
Same car (even the carbon fibre trim) and same place for me. I didn't know it is a kinda easy part to remove.. I am going to fix mine too now. Thank you for the video as always!
Thanks for making this video, I have a peeling C-pillar in my 2003 540i6 M-Sport. Slightly different removal process but I'm happy to see that gluing it back down works well. Those pillar trims are expensive to replace!
Your videos are so helpful man. I really appreciate you doing these.
Had the same problem on my 2005 E60, this fix worked great. Thanks
Thank you so much. I have the same thing but less peel. I was just thinking how to do it and your video showed up in my sub. list.
Thanks again
Thanks i just learned how to remove my side pillars ! I need to fix my sunroof headliner
Great video ......we need people like you LOL.
Great Video ! Trying that today.
I bought a black interior, this helped get it off thanks. I dropped 2 clips down into the car so now i'm really not sure what to do about that. Seems they're gone forever now lol. I hope they don't rattle.
Thank you so much for posting this!
nice. I have the same problem on my driver side as well as both of the columns where the seat belt for the front seats come out. it is peeling pretty badly but hopefully I will take a look and see if it is as easy as you make it look. they say if you want to know how to do something come to look at UA-cam and what do you know there it is... lol
thanks for posting
Removed the pillar this morning and of course it cracked at the holder located at window.
I think that I can either super glue it or use the two part catalyst / hardener glue that will hold it together enough to put it back in.
Thanks for the video.
Bud
Great video. Thanks man.
I want to see the outside of your e60
Thank you so much for the video 👍👍
Thanks, I'll give it a try.
I think once it's back in, it's not like it's in an area that is going to move around.
Thanks man.... I am going to repair mine
more videos on its way. AMP/sub install with plug and play harness, airbag passenger side error removal, changing the rear weather strip, window tint removal, and hopefully i can do a how to install drop springs, as i will be changing out my shocks i can kill two birds one stone.
i would use a two part hardener like JB weld. ive used it before to fix various things and hold up very strong.
any idea how to open a hood latch? the driver side won't released. I have an e60 as well
your videos are great :)
Good stuff Roskinc
awesome vids brotha also bought your aux cable
Great job, thanx for the video. Can you please tell me the name of the adhesive you used for the fabric thank you
glad i uploaded it in time for you to do yours. follow the video, and just be careful taking it out, dont want to break that plastic clip, but it seems strong so shouldnt' be easy to break. also use adhesive spray, clue might cause it to bleed through the other side of the material. goodluck
Good stuff! Need to make more videos :)
thank you
Can you please tell us what the name of the adhesive you used?
Thanks for all the video support. Can't wait to see the airbag passenger side error removal that shit is annoying!!! )
I was going to try to fix this myself but my e60 5 series says airbag in those little plastic caps...I'm afraid I may make an airbag pop...does anyone have any tips about this?
lol i got this video at the perfect moment, my fabric JUST started to peel off
Very informative. I wouldn't have known about the lower corner clip and would've broke it. Thanks. how about the sun roof fabric falling, anything on that?
gtoguy71 i havnt run into the issue of that, i would try a upholstery store, i remember seeing them sell this syringe thing thing that you can inject glue from the outside and glue it back
Dude ur a life saver! Hit me back with a link to buy ur aux cord!
hey buddy loved your videos, had a quick question: My CBS numbers never change like I replaced my spark plugs and did a manual reset and it say 100000 km before replacing, while my brake pads say 26000 kms since I bought the car. Seems like they are static any ideas on how to fix it. Mine is a 2004 e60. My idrive also lacks some features than what I have seen in other cars, do i need a software upgrade maybe?
Would you happen to know a good place locally to purchase the fabric itself? I want to replace the fabric altogether. had cigarette burns from previous owner.
go to a junk yard and take it from another one
oh man thanks a lot ;)
dope !!! my friends e60 530 has this problem ill let her know I could fix her pillar sweet !!!
Do you know if there is a DIY video in how to fix or remove the rear sun shade? mine stopped working and the dealership is quoting me 1600$, yeah right.
you figured out how to remove the passenger air bag light off?
whats the glue you used man ?
So Fast Forward to a couple of years and in the HOT Florida Sun the fabric is coming off again.
I need a better glue that will hold the fabric
I know I'm kinda late to this topic, but does anyone knows the best way to clean the fabric the pillar is made out of?
all purpose cleaner a light brush and microfiber towel to soak up dirt
U live Hawaii ?
You think it will work the same om my e46 3 series? And i wished u could show how to fix the back one's, and the ones by my seat belt! BMW told me they don't make them to take the heat of California, bastards! Great vid!
