I love how the mixture of paint/glaze technique also minimized the knots in the pine on the top. Wow on the color, didn't see that coming but it totally worked! Your channel has such a variety of projects, and I always learn a repair/fix tip, like hammering off those legs and building up base for new legs.
@@tableflippinghousewife if want that old chippy look, Milk Paint by Fusion ( and I use others too) the BEST chippy paint I e ever used. Use a heat gun to dry it and it will bubble up and get more chippy, so beautiful!😁
@@mistyb8434 that's right! I picked up two small packets of Wisteria a while back. I have several single side tables. I'll do one of them with the Wisteria as a test. Thank you!
@@tableflippinghousewife it seems a bit thin when you make it, so let it sit for about 30 minutes (it should be like cake batter consistency). I noticed if I want a thicker batch of the milk paint use less water or if it seems too runny still after you make a batch add a little bit more of the milk paint. A lot of people don’t tell you that it’s kind of a trial and error lol.😂 I hope you have fun and you should video it.😉🫶🏼
I hear you. I don't usually paint hinges. I bought black gilding wax and thought about making them black but then decided against that. I didn't want to remove them because 1) I was lazy, and 2) the last time I removed hinges from a piece it created a problem when reattaching them. That project has remained unfinished in our dining room for a year!
Simply beautiful
Love their reaction! Great job!
What a wonderful job you have done!!!! You were giddy as a school girl over their reaction!! Made me smile 😆
Thank you! Yes, I actually edited out my shreak and dance moves. Ha ha!

Yes it did! And what a relief that I could work with the top without having to strip it. Thanks for the sweet comment! 😍
