- HELLO EVERYONE i've kinda been a mess and all over the place, so i decided to take some time to purposefully practice self-care. i struggle big time with taking time to myself because i always have to justify the way i spend my time with a "productive" reason. but making sure you nurture your physical, mental, and emotional health is so important! so here is an attempt of linh trying to relax, do things she loves (including building the lego set of the 12-year old self's dream), and
trying to be better at taking care of herself.

fellow enfp here to say what you wrote there at the end is so true!!! most of the self-care / spirituality people here on yt are very introverted and at some point made me feel like to take care of myself i needed to isolate myself more… it was no good, we need more extroverts talking about how to do wellness socially!!
I think we have this set view on what self-care looks like: the classic warm bath and face mask, maybe a glass of wine or something. But self-care can be whatever you’re craving for or what you need. I’m glad you included seeing your friends because that’s what you need to feel happy. For me, one thing I love is to cook things from scratch. It helps to keep me creative but also, you get yummy food at the end of it!
I also can’t do the classic self-care routine because I’m too tall for the baths in my house 😔

Watching your videos with a bucket of ice cream after ramen at 1am in the bath tub is my kind of self care 🪴
as a uni student living in a dorm room alone in a big city, i am soooo desperate to grasp any sense of self-care. there are no kitchen or cooking spaces except for a microwave and a fridge, so my diet for the past semester has mainly been frozen foods, ramen, packaged or delivered food bought in near-by restaurants. having that diet for over 5 months makes you feel like your intestines are covered with grease and toxics and you're deteriorating from the inside and i really hate this feeling. my body balance has been thrown off long ago, i've gained weight and sometimes, i just don't want to be here where i am you know? but i really enjoy watching linh's video bc she actually makes a lot of fresh homemade korean dishes(like soondubu jjigae, japchae, pa-jeon(scallion pancakes)) and its so comforting, pleasing and even makes me jealous(in a good way! i want some fresh homemade korean meal so bad cuz if you haven't guessed by now i'm korean!). she really inspires me to listen to my body and heart too, and though there are limits as to how to eat at the moment, her aesthetics keeps me motivated to strive for mine too and take care of my self in my own space. kind of a cliche comment, but just wanted to put it out there. thanks linh! i really love your aesthetics and watching your pieces of life videos somehow comforts me and i appreciate that. take care of your self and stay healthy! with love, a student from korea.

Hey Linh! Just wanted to say that the way I changed my mindset about self-care was realising that I am LITERALLY taking care of a whole human body, physically and mentally! This is the physical body that allows me to interact and do anything I want, and this is the brain AKA my mental-ness that is able to control the body and continue looking after it! Now I always make sure to include some self-care times because it actually still feels productive - because it is. The only thing I consider not productive is lying in bed and scrolling through social media... At least if I was lying down on the couch with my family, it's technically family time so it's not unproductive hehe. Love your videos as always! ❤️
