Love this ad.. maybe i'm about to buy one, a nice 340 sedan 5sp 🥰 Half the family owned div. models of Daf&Volvo 66 during the 1970s/early '80s. Years later dad owned a Volvo 440. Boring and dull cars? Nevertheless solid state and drop dead reliable. Last for many decades when maintained properly. Which doesn't cost a fortune, but easy for me to say as a south(east)ern Dutchman 🤭
haha my mom had a 343 growing up, and that Renault engine + belt drive made a unique sound and i heard her miles away when she was about to look for me so I could stay away🤣
@@recall2880 Guess you were lucky that's their most problematic car historically. I think it was built in the old Daff factory. Best Volvos always was and probably are Gothenburg built. What i heard is there are som problems with the Belgian built ones in Gent aswell :(
@@recall2880 The 400 series was Volvo's most problematic car, especially the 480 model. I remember the family elderly all drove Volvo/DAF 66, and man they are still ugly :)
Момент когда машина прыгает на холм на 0:51 видно что пизда колесу, диск погнуло, и само оно теперь смотрит будто влево поворачиваешь, этого сильно не видно т.к. сразу склейка идет, но один кадр на тайминге можно понять)
Hola!
Quite funny they named it as a Volvo. The 360 was interesting with a rear mounted gearbox to get 50/50 balance. 2 litre and fast for its era. Me, i had a Daf 44 twin cylinder 850 and it was known to reach 60 mph with a trailing wind and it would only take 1 minute to get to that speed@@lesneyman
I love how they drove the hell out of the cars in ads back in the days 😂
How else are you supposed to know the car is worth a damn?
Yep,new car drives through a puddle and the electric handbrake starts coming on when it feels like it
Nowadays car ads: look how we put all the buttons in an unusable touch display!
no, nowadays, its a car driving on country roads or un an urban city with loads of disclaimers
@@blobba5442 you forgot to mention the 96 month loans and muh diverse couples
Both you are right 👍🏿😢
I had one of these, and i actually drove it like in this add. 😂
@Malika The Cutest Girl already did 😂
LoL!!!!!
Me too had one, one of the best small cars to sit in
One of best cars for drift
One of the best cars to reverse😂
I LOVED IT... I WISHD ID HAD RED 343 AND WHITE 345
Крутая реклама😃
Nice DAF
Indeed, this was a van Doorne development, but because of the oncoming takeover, Volvo was already involved.
Funny, those guys apparently broke down with their Mercedes 508D 😂... Most reliable vehicle ever.. But I get it, it's pure hypothetical...
Could have ran out of gas
Or diesel rather

I had a 440. Never even serviced it. Never broke down once and never let me down. Boring, dull but the most reliable car I ever owned
@@recall2880 My dad had such a 440, 1,7 dl.. same thing. Still looking for a fine 340 stickshift or any equivalent early Golf2 series. Dull but neat🤞

Alguien me podría garantizar que ese anuncio se grabó en Canary Island.
Concretamente en la isla de Gran Canaria.

The young people nowadays are like this car is just safe not sporty. Well yeah who wants to ride around in full hockey gear.
Who wants to drag a satchel full of old newspapers around behind them?
Машина хорошая , а водитель психичнски больной 😂 едет всё сбивает и при этои улыбается так умилительно😅
Combien de points elle aurait perdu, cette femme?
I WISHD ID HAD 343 AND 1 RED 343-82
