I'm like 240 hours into MHW now and I think 160 of that has been on Charge Blade. I think it's my favorite weapon in any videogame.
I'm not a speedrunner but faster times equals more hunts completed so i try to be as fast as possible and i main LS, GS, Hammer, LBG and CB but even with LS i struggle to get 10-15 mins on Tempered Luna yet you "chilled" AT Luna in under 10 mins and with CB (not Diablos T2) that's inspirational and impressive also quite fortunate (no KT nor AT KT weapons...salty) nice run

You're not making any sense, the amped discharge is where the vast majority of damage output comes from but it doesnt crit making critical eye / weakness exploit / critical hit / critical element skills redundant. Yet you're saying its the most important skill!?! okaaaaaaay then.
Geordie6740 - The reason critical eye is favored is because with the set skill: Critical Element, not only does his raw damage get the critical boost, but it also allows element to get the same boost thus, increasing the total damage output. And artillery does not affect power elemental phial damage which frees ~ 3 skill slots to better optimize this build to better suit the “Kjarr Strongarm Ice”.

What is the point of critical eye on a CB build? Seems like a waste, surely vitality or att gems would be better suited.
Critical eyes are the most important in my set.
