You are the person I want to be when I leave school
We all do
why everbody want to be like him? just be yourself man
mum carpet don’t try to philosophize it we want to work like him because we like his work no need for a “be yourself” saying
Majd Bishara he was ri8...do what he does but do it your way. There is no point if u just copy someone without putting in effort to give it your own punch...
ALIAS you guys are over explaining what we said
Thriving to be like someone doesn’t mean to be a copy of him nor copy his work
Being in the music business wether you are a musician, an audio technician, or a lighting technician is no easy pickle it takes big effort
And we are hoping to land a career and future just like his doing the thing we love the most just like him
How can anyone dislike this? Christian, you've given such an inside perspective on these shows that some of us walk away from, totally amazed at the production quality. Thank you for your awesome videos.
He finally returns!!!!
Maximillian if my past behavior indicates anything this means a surge of uploads
Jeremy no.1 VJ
There are not many light shows that make me audiblely be increased but that drop at "forgive me for my wrongs I have just begun" was fucking unreal💦💦
Just started programming on grandMA2 on Pc because of you! Thanks a lot for all those very very damn cool videos they've helped me a lot and i hope you'll upload a new one soon!
You and Zomboy are the king of combos💀 insane show
You and the sound guys are the real MVP at live shows. Appreciate what you do, man.

Congratulations on driving the light rig at Red Rocks! I need to start celebrating DMX day.
Gotta say that the design was so classy! Clean and slick man! 😎
I just randomly found this channel and I fkn love it!
Also a dream of mine! Especially living right down the road and driving by each day to shows I work
Congrats man! I’ve got my first Red Rocks show in May also! Unbelievably stoked!
Another video I’ll watch 30 times!
I went to Bisco Infurno at Red Rocks and can attest to it being one of if not the greatest venue I’ve ever been to, I have a soft spot for my home town of Chicago’s Northerly Island venue that has the entire skyline in the background tho...
Your videos are a life saver for people like me who are working our way up in the industry! Thank you, your the best❤️
Just came a cross this Channel, This show was my first time at red rocks and it was a blast. I had flown in from FL to see the venue. thanks for putting on a great show really interesting stuff.
Every show is more interesting after one of these videos. Congrats on the milestone and thanks for sharing the journey.
I love the circles movemets of your sharpys
I'm sure you've been crazy busy, so thanks for taking the time to make a new video. Red Rocks (and your show) looks awesome!
Love your work mate
Amazing job greetings from perú🇵🇪
love the back lighting at 8.15
Thank you for finally making a new video! And yes, I do understand your upload schedule xD
I really like all the things you do with those movingheads... Epic!
I find these videos fascinating. I am a full time musician in Ottawa Canada, been playing music all my life, and I have seen a slow but steady decline in the live music scene. I do not think my line of work will ever completely disappear, but in some sense, I feel like the digital age is a fully loaded freight train hurtling down the tracks with no breaks and at this point it is just an unstoppable force, and seeing things like this on UA-cam, I can see why. These DJ's are the new age rock stars, and with the slickness in production paired with incredible light shows, its just an overload of the senses, and you cant help but be mesmerized. These visual spectacles are pretty awesome I must say, and I thank you for these videos, its awesome to see what goes into this.
Heheheh DJ's are out! Its downhill from now. The pay is way down... ;) Heads up for live music again! 🤘
duuuuuuude i was there it was INSANE. good shit on the visuals man honestly that was one of my all time favorite shows i have been to.
I've been doing lights at a local club and some small stages at festivals. Its pretty cool to see how it all works with these largeer productions. Just found your channel and im definitely following this. Good stuff!
Excellent video. Love how you went through an explained the setup here.
i was at this show and holy crap it was a blast! This Vlog just made it that much more special! Thanks for the content!!!

So cool , the lights make this show "lit" AF .
Another awesome video Christian. I honestly hope to be in your shoes one day. Keep inspiring 👌
Christian Jackson I am your loyal fan. Your youtube hasn't updated the video for a long time. I really want to watch the video that controls the lighting scene.

Jonathan Hwang hahahahha yep. Ugh
Love these videos! Could you do a more simple explanation of how to create a show based off smaller portions of gear? Maybe an affordable setup for beginners.
I would love to know more about light rigs as an musician and how the DMX universes really work!
Great content!
Great job... Um abraço de Portugal:)
Been waiting of your vlogs
You're this guy I really want to get to meet mainly so I can quit my day job and get closer into A/V. Help me quit fixing shitty computers Christian!!!

Seeing this makes me curious about Rampage's light programming, has to be next level
That mothership tour stream was a turning point in dubstep.
Nice!!!
Jesus christ, never realised lighting at these edm shows were so complicated to setup, i guess i never really thought about how it was done
LEWZR it get easier the more you learn and it’s get more fun. I personally think it’s light programming is the great career
The cable management looks incredible
Man I’m a amateur pyrotech and I have started doing a DMX laser/light pre-shows in front of my fireworks and I think I’m having more fun with my damn lights these days. lol

You are the monster of ligthing.
Nah I’m just the one who takes the time to make videos. Hundreds maybe thousands of better lighting peoples out there! Thank you tho
There are many, I do not know if they are better or not but taking the time so that others can see and improve is the best. I hope I have the opportunity to illuminate those events like you.

Hey Christian, we love you videos. You are a true pro.
Question....what fixtures would you recommend on a single owners budget?
Thanks for the help!!!!
One day man.. One day I'm gonna play a set here.
Cool Bro!!!
I really want to get into lighting design and operation
2 years later and I watch this video and it appears UA-cam muted some of it... What a shame UA-cam
Thanks for the cool Video :)
A question
What did you study to be an engineer in lighting
Greetings from México 🇲🇽
you need to get those screens that weirdcore uses right now with aphex twin.
Ik all 512 DMX channels update at 44hz cuz it’s a 250khz system, but some of those strobes look faster than that. Are u using the fixture shutter strobe macro or just MA effects?
Late response but it could be the camera shutter
Are you controlling the pyro as well? I've just recently found you with in the last year as well as MA2 onpc. Thanks to you. I just got hired for a company called CSD group for lighting. Super stoked and scared all at the same time. Jumping into the fire has got me this far so wish me luck\m/
One question I always have is, how are the lights/visuals perfectly synced with the music that the “DJ” is playing? A lot of people say they are pre-recorded sets so they can be in-sync.
The pre-recorded stuff is usually for an ''endshow''. You can use timecode to program a show in sync with the music. But at a live event the VJ's LJ's and SFX operators just listen to the music and control everything live. You can use a software called ''Showkontrol'', so you can see what a DJ is mixing in or playing on his desk. That usually helps to spot a drop coming or something like that.
Hey it’s Max! I work with him at the Gorge
geoffery bourlet max is my spirit animal
Christian Jackson we gonna see either of you round for bass Canyon ?
geoffery bourlet I’ll be there max won’t be
bless the tech crews
Man you are awesome dude! When i make it as a dj im gonna hire you lmao😂
Thanks for this video. In 2018 video, light and audio should be in sync ( 0.2 sec precision). GrandMa has Midi in and SMPTE in . Lightscenes on beats using Serato DJ or the Ableton grid is easy. For sync the video use SMPTE. With MA it is a lot of work to press cue button to fill the smpte time Play it ,correct it . It has to be done in the studio off line not on site.
Take a look at ua-cam.com/video/g0S85lgZXdE/v-deo.html
ok?

Cristian Jackson, do you know wich lasers they're using at 6:35 ? The Ganja White night
