@@trentbell4999 was the LD & the audio guy for our assembly hall at school. Was a very cool time. Constantly advancing in that matter. Started of with a scenesetter 2448 and 6 led-pars and two 6-ch dimmers... In the end i bought 6 movingheads and Artnet-Interface. Huge difference in quality of the shows. But still very much to learn :D

Hi mate! Love the video. Tried to do the red fade out like you did on the JDcs on the first cue 1:17:00 but the projector I use (MegaPointe) fades out in white and not in red. Think I've understood the orange colour merge you did afterwards but won't know if it works until I get the pointe to fade in red. Thanks
@Christian Jackson, besides the cue only could u actually use the tracking shield function at that point? OR if-else when would u use tracking shield?
So before I used to not timecode and start the song from the beginning and manually time every que, well now don't I feel dumb, life changing

Thanks Christian for a fantastic video!! I’m 17 and in grade 12 and just figuring out how to use timecode so I can timecode my last light show before I leave my school. I am by far the most experienced tech at my school as far as lighting is concerned so there is nobody to ask for advice or help. We run a MA dot 2 we’ve only had it since February. I’m unfamiliar with the MA2 but it looks very similar. You make using the MA gear look so easy. Would you be able to do a basics video for the command line? It seems to speed up your workflow. For example how you went Store>Cue>1>through>42 to get a cue list was a new one for me. Thanks again from Perth Australia 👍🏼

I didn't get to watch this live and am only catching up now. but there was a question about updating individual fade / delay times. these fade and delay times can be stored as presets in each appropriate attribute pool and can then be updated like any normal preset. if that helps the person asking the question.
Hello! How did You do 2:02:33 ? Like flash blinders works how " cue only " and than continued previous cue . On mobile I do not see .

Yeah MA3 will store timings in pool items.

I wanna ask you, the stuff that you record by playing the "ten" buttons, it records into the cue where you are at that time or it only records like in the timecode/frame animation?

How many hours/days you take for timecode one hour show?
Hi ! Thanks for this Amazing vidéo. How do toi adapt your show for dimmer value. If i'm right you record dimmer in every cues. So if you have a powerfull fixture who remplace one of your fixture on your show it will be complicated to adapt every dimmer values your show even if you use group master.. How do you deal with that ? Are you just record dimmer at full in every cue ?
3:16:13 I Watched thousands of times. I don't understand how and when did you insert the "scream cue" in the sequence.... It wasn't there. It wasn't even recorded and then....all of sudden.... there it is.... Magic
It’s not in the main sequence.
Is there something missing at 3:15:10? There's a jump in the whole video o.Ô. Programming of Cue 4 is completely missing, I think.

Is the timecode information the same when you feed it through reaper onto your consol as when you play it from a cdj?

The timecode frames are the same. But when I use showkontrol with cdjs I use smpte. Reaper I use midi timecode

Hello, i'am pretty begginner on MA2. Did someone know how to deal with the executor because he almost use all of them for this track, so how he can deal for another track ?
There are pages of executors. Use a different page for each song to get a brand new set of executors for each. He talks about it starting here: ua-cam.com/video/DxskAMEQUJg/v-deo.html
Is it fair to say that it takes MTC a bit longer to 'catch up' than it does for LTC?
Maybe by a few frames. Depends on how the system is set up. In some cases it’s faster than Ltc

Do you work on Hog4 at all? The only thing that I work with right now is Hog4 but I would like to get better and quicker with the console.

Storing a cue in a sequence is what cues and sequences love to do together

If you mean the omtrick the he is using, you can use loopMidi , I think Christian has a video on how to set it up

sorry @drootb, I had to delete the comment, I don't know what day I posted that comment, but I am the LD for my church now, so we barely use timecode for anything. only for shows and specials.

Store a delay value for the fixtures. In this case it is a range. 0sexonds to .1 seconds.
