- Ethan Becker talks about his Neck Knife designs with Phil Gibbs. The Bk-11 Becker Necker, BK-13 Remora, and BK-14, a collaboration with KA-BAR, Becker, and ESSEE Knives. Great neck knives with 1095 Cro-Van High Carbon Non-Stainless Steel.

I would be interested to know why Becker likes to use the 1095 steel so much.
it's physically durable
It's a secret.
What the first guy said. 1095 is about as “tough” as you can get. You can pry with it, baton it, throw it, and re-sharpen it really easily. It’s a great steel for survival knifes; with it’s only downfall being its proneness to rusting. Are there other steels out there that are better? Yes, but they aren’t nearly as cheap as 1095
I buy from midway USA. They’re the best. I like the hybrid knife the best!
I wish BK&T produced more BK24's
Me too, stainlessnes is very important to me since i live in Puerto Rico, relatively humid year round and high salt do to the close proximity to beaches.
sooo many cheap rubbish copies of this knife on the market now
It’s already a cheap knife too lol
