I always remember when I was 12 playing this game. The graphic, the gameplay, the story, the bosses ... everything seemed seriously overwhelmed for me. After finishing the game, I kept sitting still on my couch cause I hadn't believed that the game was truly over.
You know Honestly Onimusha 3 Has always given Me Rush Hour 3 vibes, particularly because part of both Onimusha 3 and Rush Hour 3 take place in Paris and the bond forged between Samanosuke and Jaques echoes the bond between Carter and Lee although Carter and Lee had obviously been Friends/Allies for a longer time Lol
@@celesteorsa3918 Movie like quality isn't all about stylistic choices & voice acting. Onimusha was the first to make use of popular / Hollywood actors and high quality motion capture to bring their games to life.
I just love the way narrator says "Here is donnie yen" as if the cast wasn't already big enough with 2 super stars and just casually dropping donnie yen too , Man i wish this series came back
Best Onimusha Game, Onimusha 3... hopefully the remake that just came out sells well and they'll release the rest of the Onimusha games remastered too! :)
@@umaid5111 Onimusha 1 was released for PS4/PC recently with a complete graphics overhaul. It's not an entirely new game, but the graphics have been updated immensely, hence "remake".
As a martial artist I always appreciate when there's a good game with the argument. This is anyway not just about martial arts but also magic and time travelling. Spells and enchanted weapons make superb the fight choreos that were made by Donnie Yen! Plus there are also two very good actors in the main roles and of course they are Takeshi Kaneshiro and Jean Reno. The whole game team made excellent graphics and works! Well done!
Man, I loved this game so much. Can't remember how many times I played it from start to finish. It was a shame Jean Reno couldn't do the English dub for Jacques.
man this is cool, Donnie Yen, Jean Reno, and many others, I always wanted to play this game but never could cause my PC could not run it at the time, now im hoping for a remaster, especially now that the first Onimusha appeared on Steam
Same my brother wanted to play it on pc but couldn’t the pc port sucks I’m gonna get the whole series on ps2 I might get ps4 onimusha 1 as well I heard in that version you can use anolog cause only onimusha 3 and 4 you could only use anolog wich is dumb idk why onimusha 1 and 2 you can only use dpad
This got a sequel in 2006. Which Capcom barely promoted, and to this day, a lot of people dont even know it existed. "Shin Onimusha/Dawn of Dreams", Samanosuke and Jubei's grandaughter are int it.
He kinda is. He worked quite a few times in Japan, he has a film "Wasabi" (I recommend this) which is set in Japan and he also appeared in a Doreamon ad.
Samanosuke story line is always better for me Juubei's story line lost the impact that 1 and 3 gives (the plot is more deep) because its is more light and funnie focused. i hope capcom considers a remake of 1 and 3 but lol , didnt know that Donnie Yen directed the motion team!
It hasnt been said a lot. Capcom cant just do it alone. The actual actor of Samanosuke Takeshi Kaneshiros studio plus Jean Reno studio have to be convinced that investing money on ONIMUSHA 3 to be remastered is worth their time too.

this game is absolutely amazing i don’t understand why it isn’t brought up as much as other classics

You born in 1995 ?
Same here, I just love how epic the levels, storytelling and bossfights were in Onimusha 3, I still go back and play through the trilogy regularly
Donnie Yen, Takeshi Kaneshiro and Jean Reno, it's like a Hong Kong movie from the 1990s-2000s that never got made
C'mon...You know that movie would have been freaking amazing.

Onimusha was a pioneer in the realm of merging movie like quality with video game production. I still play Onimusha 3 sometimes.
and metal gear solid ?

Dear gosh samanuseke Akechi in real life. Jean Reno the villain from Mission impossible 1. Totally awesome

Onimusha all of them are awesome
Capcom already about to use all of Megaman remasters, and RE remakes
There's always this masterpiece to remaster or reboot!

Jean Reno !!!
Best game in my plastation
RW:@3:17 isn’t he the same guy who played as Philip from that movie Godzilla the one with Matthew Broderick in it?
Yep, he’s also the guy who trained Natalie Portman to be an assassin in The Professional.
Subes muy buen contenido de videojuegos la verdad, compartiré más tus vídeos para que tengas más visitas.

Never knew Donnie Yen was ever associated with demon seige 😍😍😍
Oh shit! Donnie Yen was involved in this game?!!
one of my favourite game
i didn't know capcom involved Donnie Yen as part of the game
that's was awesome
I wish this video is updated. such a gem.
I really enjoy this game...and enjoy play as Jaques...
Still my favourite ps2 game wish a movie was made based on this.
Donnie Yen is awesome since then. He is over the top actor.
i'm on the seek of this classic games on any platform...
Good one Ponton!
Loved this franchise on ps2
10/10 best game ever
back when capcom had passion
Facts.
Or everything else was cheaper back then
Now capcom only knows as company of remake re and no new ip developed
I consider nioh as the continuation of the onimusha series
2022 potential sequel to onimusha
2020 still no remake nor the sequel.

This game is great! i dont know they did all this work, that why this game is so good.
Excelente video
a los que hicieron la intro cgi del juego deberian de hacerle un monumento en japon
I play this in 2005 in my first time😢
It seems like Jean Reno can speak Japanese as he can replay and ask a simple question.
He kinda is. He worked quite a few times in Japan, he has a film "Wasabi" (I recommend this) which is set in Japan and he also appeared in a Doreamon ad.
OMFG donnie yen did the regie for the opening scence what a legend love him
Greats actors by playgame is fantastic . Playgame is excelent .Great video ,greats Moments is Gemma by ps2 👍👍👍👍👍🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🗿🗿🗿
Man! When will we get a live action movie of this
They were supposed to make an Onimusha movie yet plans fell apart.
Oh shitt, i just barely know onimusha 3 had Donnie yen effort
10:25 GRANDE ROBOT
Squaresoft + Enix
Cool
Samanosuke story line is always better for me
Juubei's story line lost the impact that 1 and 3 gives (the plot is more deep) because its is more light and funnie focused.

but lol , didnt know that Donnie Yen directed the motion team!
Jean Renault xddd
sekiro reminds me of this game.
so handsome

Does this "large scale battles" still in the game? I can't remember them.
Yes it is in the game
yes during the siege on Azuchi castle
Why not release Onimusha HD collection

2024 remake ❤❤
Frank Sortudo tem molho de pimenta
...não sei canjinha
...prefiro um macarranzinho
...na frança tem mioji Uivador do portão
All those voice over efforts and 5 minutes in, both Takeshi and Jean get dubbed in English 🥲🙃
I think it has the Japanese option
1:05 thats a lie, that happened before.
Game muito bom
Resident evils remakes are good but they forget onimusha remake the three of hem or create a new one
melhor game

Donnie yen so thin 😂

Puzzles ruined this series for me.
Puzzles are purely optional, except for a single one in each game though.
Yeah, i remember when Jacques have to save his son Henry when they are in Eiffel tower. CMIIW
I love the puzzles in this game.
