Dante: (went out of his way to hunt Nero down just to explain why he needs the Yamato back for sentimental and practical reasons) Nero: I need this... Dante: understandable, have a nice day.
(Spoilers for 5) Pretty sure when he says in 5 "I saw how the yamato reacted and I was certain" he was talking about this scene. Seeing how he fought with the yamato and how it worked well with him, so he could tell Nero was in the bloodline
I like how Dante just needed one simple test to leave Yamato with Nero. If Nero really craved for power to control, he would never had the intention to give back the sword. Dante finally saw the responsibility Sparda left behind for Yamato being fulfilled with the sword being with Nero so he just let his nephew kept the sword
Actually that's not the case. You see the moment when Dante knocked Nero to the wall, and then he see the Yamato reacts with Nero's right arm. He knew instantly that Nero is a reasonable person. At that same moment he had the feeling that Nero might have Sparda's bloodline. Otherwise he will surely take the Yamato by force without listening to Nero's reason.
@@ClayWheeler oh, I wasn’t talking about their second run in lol, should’ve made it more clear. I mean at that the end scene. Dante was about to leave but Nero stopped him to give back the Yamato. But you make good points too, Dante truly see Nero as reasonable person and trusted him with the Yamato. But i like to think that he was surprised when Nero gave back such enormous power after he did what he promised to do with no hesitation.
It was also the scene where Dante's assumption of Nero being Vergil's son was correct. With the quote of "And then I saw how the Yamato reacted" referring to this scene particularly.
3:49 - 4:59 Look at the scene of the actors ... it is amazing how they convey the emotion, it seems that they were shooting a movie and not just the movements of a game. ♥ Wow!
There is the novel where dmc 4 is shown from Dante's perspective. Dante would have ended the knights plan early but when nero used his hand in their first fight he felt it and tried to observe him then he waited for him at the second fight location to confirm it.
mocap is used for all of the previs process for animating cutscenes. it's pretty standard practice, so DMC5 does have motion captured cutscenes. (the previs cutscenes are also available as DLC and can be toggled on in-game.)
Nearly all actions Video games use Mocap today. Not just Devil May Cry. Remember Sekiro got the award GOTY? Their Mocap actually much more fluid than the final game. All of attacking motions in that game somewhat "nerfed" to adjust with the target timing and hitbox
Go to school and learn what you need to know. Then build your resume and intern at a studio to get real world experience. Finally apply for entry level openings and work your butt off. This will allow you to move up and or keep adding to the resume for the next job. Also going to school allows for networking and the ability to earn certifications you may need down the road.
This looks like it was a lot of fun to do honestly.

That's his nephew. He wouldn't have entrusted Yamato to just anyone.
Dante’s just Canadian

I love how the Dante MoCap drops the sword and needs somebody to pass it to him whenever he needs it again.

"Hey Dante.. will we meet again?" . I hold on to that for years. And I just recently finished playing DMC5. Masterpiece.

Cameras are rolling, they've got a script and coreography... yep, they were shooting a movie.
(TIL UA-cam doesn't think "Coreography" is a word.)
4:40 for the best “see ya” in history
Lady was STACKED in DMC4
So was Trish. Shame that didn’t carry into DMCV
@@wesleygriffiths8748 Compared to what they were in their first games? It makes sense. I prefer the smaller chest over the bigger ones.
The best cutscene in DMC4 by far is the one in the church, with the whole theatrical speech.
8:38 LET'S ROCK!!
Lmao their weapons being handed to them by the extras was hilarious
The guy who play Nero was the guy that play in power rangers. The black ranger
and vergil's voice actor was the quantum ranger
He also played Ichigo in Bleach
Yeah, Yu Narukami is Nero
the great Johnny yong bosh is Nero
