We picked ours up on February 12, and love it. The corner in the kitchen is a great spot for keeping our dog food, treats, etc out of the way. We added a 4 in cool gel memory foam topper to the bed, and it’s perfect. Still folds in with no problem. Considering adding a shower rod to upper pantry for a little more hanging space. Josh, I like this one best. I'm not worried about the outside kitchen thing. The fridge is enough for me. The bathroom could have more room around the toilet but it's doable. Thanks!
I really do like this no dinette floorplan. East west are doing it right. The imagine uses the shwintech in their xls. I love the better rack and pinion slide. The height is great. Counter is huge. Solid trailer. Keep up your quirky humour Josh.
This trailer is amazing!! I like the way the murphy doesn't eat into the storage but is still not the typical pseudo-bed. The windows are just fantastic, although I really like having a dinette. Do wish the kitchen window was operable, and I wish that corner would have been with open shelves on part of it to make it more accessible. But the counter space is fantastic! Edit: I Forgot to mention that I really like having a front window, so that is something else that should have been added IMHO.
I love the look of the front window. I dislike the heating/cooling loss it causes. In the case of murphy beds I find front windows often very nearly "wasted" since they're primarily covered up during the daylight hours. BUT I recognize cases both for and against either way. That's why I like carrying different stuff too :)
At the 1:45 mark, lots to like in this 2022 Alta 1900MMK. I see that the manufacturer is East to West in Elkhart Indiana. Do they have any relationship to Forest River?
It's under the forest river umbrella in their own division Kind of like how coachmen, prime time, or Rockwood all basically operate on their own "under forest river"
Nice that it has a cooker hooker. I also like the outdoor fridge that’s a good use of that space. I liked it has Azdele I wish it was double though. This is a nice little RV
In my experience with freedom express who did single-layer-azdel-only for a long while it seems to be the outside layer that provides the greatest impact. The interior layer does help manage some weight though I don't feel the weight on these Altas is a problem by any means
Hey Josh! I am really liking these East to West Campers! They strike me as very quality oriented! This is not a bad floorplan; but for my needs, I think we are liking that separate bedroom kitchen area. If East to West has a comparable model to the Keystone Half Ton 26RBSS, I would like to see that floorplan! But, definitely Kudos to this company, and to you for showing us this model! All the Best Always! ~Lou
I can see while asleep raising up some to adjust my pillow and konking my head on the bottom edge of the above side cabinets. Installed padding on that bottom edge would be ideal!
LISTEN TO UNCLE JOSH ON THIS ONE BOYS AND GIRLS, HE'S 100% RIGHT!!!! For the first time ever, my wife and I went to Quad Cities Bish's RV this past weekend, mainly to see the Grand Design offerings. But they were having an "open house" the day we were there, and several campers were wide open to viewing in the yard, including this one. (Sorry we missed you Uncle Josh!) Now, I have NO INTEREST in small travel trailers, my wife and I popped in to see it only because it was open. But once we were inside, WOW!!! We were both more impressed by this little Alta than almost anything else in the yard. The solar package is amazing! What's really amazing, is that we were blown away by it, even with the slide closed! For some odd reason, they forgot to open the slide on this one! We didn't even care, as we were so impressed with the floor plan and the quality. I think I could easily live with this trailer. Thank you SO MUCH for doing a video on it! It's very possible that this might be the couple's trailer my wife and I may end up with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
You know I can say this stuff all day until I'm blue in the face, but a viewer could easily say "Of course you say that since that's what you sell" So I can't tell you how much I *TRULY* appreciate it when someone takes the time to share things like this. *THANK YOU* Ron!! Safe Travels :)
This is awesome. The two small things for me on this one I would change is somehow get the bed to be able to come down so I can switch it out, and the toilet space is a bit tight for me.
Not a bendybed fan, but I can see the use for some people’s need. Would like to see 12v outlets so a person can run a small inverter for TV or charge laptop, cpap w/o hookups. Happy to see even a small oven. Would also like to see coverage in these videos of location of fresh tank drain, access to winterizing valve, and bypass valves.
Very nice rv I own a Murphy bed style rv and i have so much storage space and have an outside kitchen with a big frig in it. Just love it ❤ Would live to have the recliner couch though. Great job Josh live your energy
Great job on the video! Love your energy! We just bought an Alta 2350KRK and I had to buy a bigger truck. My old truck would've pulled this one just fine!! Love the East-West Alta line!
Really like this RV for couples or a single person. You can also do a bumper mounted griddle arm for those who want more of a camp kitchen. I like the mini fridge because it stops me from having to bring an extra cooler. Considering the cargo capacity, I believe they nailed it.
I love the counter top!!! In my travel trailer I complain about it all the time. I do see things I like and don’t like. But for me, I want to move up to a 5th RK.
Hey Josh, great video. I'm wondering how much of a hassle would be to rotate the bendy mattress, head-to-foot at take-down and put-away? Would that put the bend in a better spot for sleeping?
Considering there's nothing "blocking" it at the bottom I wouldn't guess it would be hard. Pull it forward "folded," rotate, open. I'd THINK it'd be reasonable
Great timing for a video on the Alta. We are seriously looking at the Grand Design Imagine XLS 17MKE and wanted more info on similar floor plans. We first saw the Alta and loved the counter! Found the 17MKE and it was like Yes, this is it! Also checked out the Surveyor, but IMHO, not up to par on quality when compared to EtW or GD. The Alta has more storage in the wall pantry which is sweet. Alta also wins with the jack knife sofa which reclines. However, the 17MKE has the winning vote with all windows that open, the theater seating has cup holders, heat & massage, has a Roku tv, more storage in the bathroom and the solar is 165w standard. Looking forward to your review of the 17MKE on Saturday!!
I think I actually have a 17MKE video coming out TOMORROW for comparisons! I love this layout and have been recording different versions of it where I find them :)
Of the four like this I've seen it comes down to Alta vs Imagine as my favorite. I personally gave Alta the nod but man.. but like.. a Frog's Hair. That Imagine is also great and you NAILED the high points on it
Wow, an RV Nerd video that I have not watched yet. Shocking and exciting. Do I want more exterior colors? No. I might customize a trailer with a camo wrap.
Looking like this brand is giving some good quality. I liked the grand design when they had the east to west bed so you could have a full mattress and travel stop friendly
Josh I have to tell you I have been looking for months for the perfect RV camper under 27 feet With theater seating That’s a must for my husband !! But the point of this is that I have been watching many videos and looked on 💯 websites of RV trailers and you put out the best videos and the best knowledge and I really really appreciate that Do you have a website that I could go on to see your prices on ? I like all the other videos that have the price but they have really poor quality videos 😕 so thanks for your quality videos I only have a few months yet to buy my camper so I really really appreciate all your help The thing I don’t like about this camper is the Murphy bed what if I wanna go to bed and my husband wants to stay up and watch TV guess he always can watch tv in bed hahahahaha
Yep! You can see listings with pricing at www.bishs.com/inventory/ Some recent arrivals might not yet have pricing applied but our team is always working on getting it caught up. Quick note: Grand Design literally doesn't let us publish discounted sale pricing. other than that you should be able to get some ideas there And we don't do dealer fees!
We were just in a 17MKE last weekend trying to decide between that and the 22rbe. Even though it’s 2 feet shorter than this one I think it is still a good viable option and although no one can sleep in the bed the recliners do recline out really far so if you have to take a nap at a stop it’s still doable. My question is between this and the grand design as I know the grand design is rated for full-time living I don’t know if east to west is
@@Vlogsoup so this might sound funny but a fine point of detail here is that imagine is not rated for full-time living. No RV is. None of them Some of them may have phrases like full-time are being… But that’s not the same thing. Full-time living implies you’re using it as your actual permanent residence. Those so manufactures will still take care of you by the letter of the law that’s not what they’re making their product for. Full-time RV actually has no real definition. The general understood meeting of it is you can camp the crap out of that thing as long as you spend a wee bit of time somewhere else
Josh, maybe you could make a suggestion to this (and any other manufacturer making similar floorplans), as this could very well be a one-person unit (travelling nurse, etc), SPLIT the murphy bed so one side could still fold down into a 'single' bed, clearing the slide and allowing that half of the bed to be used with the slide closed. This way if someone stops for the night at a slide-unfriendly location or otherwise cannot extend it, they'd still be able to fully utilize the unit. So yes you'd have a split down the center as well as at the front 1/3 of the mattress but I think it would be a great alternative for a 'singles' camper.
@@NYVET48TFW One said it’s probably something he’s not going to consider all the other said they may try prototyping some thing and seeing how functional they feel they can make it
Isee you - you love your job ..... I know a zoo care taker (Jörg Gräser in Zoo Leipzig) he is similar to you :) he explain everything so amazing. Thanks.
Love everything this little couples trailer has to offer, in this floorplan. The kitchen is awesome. It's too bad that the fullsize mattress & slide have an issue, that makes it impossible to sleep in the bed, when the slide is in. I still love it, though! Thanks for showing us so many great ones, Josh. We nearly went to your Coldwater store yesterday, but went the one between Grand Rapids & Muskegon. Unfortunately, it was raining, so we will need to go back another day.❤️😊
So funny you say this - Our team at my home store worked hard this month and our sales manager got everyone a big scratch off ticket. A couple people actually won some good money!
I have a feeling that the Murphy bed has 2 snapping/ locking pins on it is to prevent the top and bottom of the footboard from banging while the camper is moving to and from each destination
I looked at the Transcend and Surveyor that's linked in the description. I would like the Transcend the best if it had the recliners that the Alta has. I liked that you can access the bed in road mode in the Transcend. Decision, decision....
Only problem or question is...Do you have to make the bed up everytime you pull it down? I'm sure sheets could stay on, but blankets or quilt and pillows? You would have to find storage for all that. To me storage is very important. High on my list of must have. Love the counter top space.
I really like this floor plan but like your wife... my wife won’t even consider a murphy bed. If somehow they could keep that sofa with a private bedroom this would be a real contender. That kitchen counter space is exceptional with the placement of the refrigerator is almost perfect. I’m likin it.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Josh is really becoming quite the celebrity when you get a reply by his intern. I say that with appreciation considering no one usually answers me back.... lol. Thankyou Megan.
Almost caught up lol, I really like the rockwood style Murphy bed and they really have become one of my favorite brands the outside fridge is nice too as well as the power Jack's and slam latch doors definitely not the cheapest but for the right reasons👍👍
To the ?, Who did it best?? I'm kinda torn between East to West and Surveyor. I'm not sure if Surveyor comes with the recliners or just the dinette. Otherwise there's no comparison. I'd have to go with East to West. + Both have Azdel, + Outside mini fridge Surveyor + drawers under the couch/ bed + Outside fridge and griddle.
I love it!! I'm not crazy about the Murphy bed and I'd probably just keep it down unless I had company. Otherwise this is going on the list I love the kitchen for sure!! I like the jiminy pivot tv as well. This one is nearly perfect. It's not stay over comfy, which is kind of a bummer, but not a deal breaker. This is probably my second favorite on my list now.
I LOVE the front baggage doors opening to the side. Would this need an anti-sway hitch if that was loaded in front? Weight distribution learnings say to put weight over wheels, but storages are either by hitch or rear. I'm still learning, so insight would be appreciated.
I like this one. I prefer light exterior colors. Reflects more heat, and obviously absorbs less heat. As for sleeping in travel mode...looks like the theater seats fully recline.?
Perfect this is the one ☝️ Thank you josh you’ve made making my Decision so easy I can’t believe I can find my camper from my living room bless you bless you bless you I live in Alaska to bad y’all didn’t have a store here I’m going to look to see what they have here in Alaska if they don’t have what I want here can I buy it from you ?
@@JoshtheRVNerd awesomeness I have your phone number in my contacts 😄 Friday We are headed to Wasilla and Anchorage Alaska to look and see what they have if they don’t have what I want I’ll be calling you next thank you so much for all your help 😁
I bet they put the valence around the window in the slide to keep bars of sunlight from hitting the TV. That's very annoying to some of us (me!) so I appreciate that. Love this Floorplan. Thanks for sharing! #FindDoug
The architects did a great job with this one. The outlets are where you want them. The storage and counter space is excellent. The cargo carrying capacity is awesome. Even the essentials of the propane & water hookup are in the right place. Really well done! The black/white exterior graphics are nice and match any color truck. I'm kind of happy that the decal designers lost their color privileges. If memory serves, it was for good reason. 😂
I like the Grand Design 17MKE, for two reasons. 1) fold up steps give me access while parked in tight areas like storage or rest areas. 2) The four seasons R-Values for the roof and floors.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Alta has a video out where the factory rep states that Alta's have 2" sidewalls and 5" roofs. Interesting that he claims even their -slides- have 2" sidewalls. Is that correct? ua-cam.com/video/ms6x-EoxqWI/v-deo.html As if that wasn't impressive enough, I just saw where Alta now has come out with a travel trailer with 3" sidewalls. "Alta Xtreme 365" trailers. The ceiling height is outrageous on those! Be safe!
Personally I’m liking the East-West better than the others. I prefer the theater seating with those trays rather than the dinette. The Murphy bed sofa looks far more comfortable than the others and I like the front storage area better on the East-West. I like the bright interior and the decal scheme and front end cap just look better.
Thanks for the great content as always! If possible if you run across a 240BHXL from Salem / Wildwood could we get a review video! Thanks again for the great videos always entertaining!
It's 100% on my list. We've had them on order for a while here at my home store. BUT.. that division just isn't making a lot of Xlite/Cruise Lites currently Though that's STARTING to loosen up
Saw the Sunset Trail in the background. The 242 BH was the second runner up to the Freedom Express 257BHS we eventually ordered. Would love to hear your take on it.
I like the floorplan and the kitchen is fabulous. However, it weighs 1,000 lbs. more than the Grand Design XLS 17 MKE with a very similar floorplan and doesn't seem to have that much more space. My current trailer (2018 Aerolite 213RBSL) weighs in at 5,300 lbs. dry and tows for me at 6,000 - 6,400 lbs. My goal is to drop to the mid-4,000 lb. range dry for better towing with my mid-size GMC pickup. Thanks for another comprehensive and helpful review!
Josh: This might be the perfect travel trailer for someone. But if the philosophy of use is a rolling bed, head and mess fully usable at your friendly truck stop or rest area without deploying a slide out, then this trailer isn’t it. The Murphy bed is, for wife and I a 100% deal breaker. But in fairness, our standard for measuring a travel trailer that checks all the boxes continues to be the predecessor to the Coachmen 20 SE. A close second is the Jay Flight SLX 8 212QB. But these could be subject to change after your review of the Grand Design slideless models Transcend Xplor 255FK and Imagine XLS 22RBE. Happy travels as you go from Bish to Bish to Bish. Respectfully, W.S.
lol. I was going to say that it reminded me of a image...Nice looking, I'm not crazy about the glass panels in the kitchen, but It looks like a company headed in a good direction.
East to West probably doesn't like me saying this but this product was 100% made to compete with Grand Design's Imagine series and certainly borrowed quite a few elements However... the more time I've spent around these the more I feel like EtW did a great job hitting their own notes and putting their own stamp on these campers. I'm *really* liking what I'm seeing so far
I had an Alta East to West 3150KBH. It was a great rv but way to big. The increase in RVers has made it hard to find a spot in a pinch. Quality was great and everything was super sized lol. Azdel seems to be a great product and appeared to offer a nice insulation factor holding heat or cold and reducing noise. I'm 6'3" and was first camper I didn't feel like a giant in especially the shower. I loved the rack and pinion mode durable than the common cables systems used these days
Love the trailer so went and looked at one After sitting down in recliner and moved table over we soon realized that we would have to contort our body to eat comfortably Not having a dinette was the deal breaker. But other than that was impressive
I like this one!! I’ve been in the Grand Design. I don’t remember it having such a long window by the sink and it didn’t have that pantry storage either. I was looking at 2021. 2022 might be different. I like the decor in this one. I do wish they had window treatments on all the windows not just the ones by the theater seat. Is it possible to get it with a dinette? And it needs a privacy shade in the door. I also don’t get why they didn’t just put a big fan in all of the spots including the vent thing over the bed. That really made no sense to me.
Weirdly I don't think they even offer an optional dinette here. Kinda surprised me I have the grand design one coming out tomorrow actually to compare :)
@@JoshtheRVNerd I watched it. I like this one better because of the decor and extra storage. I do like the bedside drawers on the side of the bed in the Grand Design. That looks neater than the others that are similar.
Loved the no dinette set up. They did pretty good. Only thing they truly missed on. The kitchen window. It creates a dead space for air circulation. Yes, it has a couple of exhaust fans. But that solution require using power. From my standpoint, that is a real miss. All they got right, and then they miss an obvious one.

@@JoshtheRVNerd ok that’s good to know. Thanks for the insight!😃
Very nice floorplan and nice decor! You hit a homerun with this one. "Burt Reynolds" LOL, Don Rickles I would believe!
😁
~Lou
That's called the 2600KRB -- right along lines of the 26RBS Cougar. I don't YET have one recorded though
@@JoshtheRVNerd Good to hear! Will be looking forward to seeing that model when you record it! Thank you for the head's up! ~Lou
Really like this one Josh more my towing style and great liveability.
Love this!!
Pretty Kitchen with all the counter space and that really big window!
The better to see you with my dear!! (Megan - Josh the RV Nerd's Intern)
@@JoshtheRVNerd Ha ha ha! Thanks Megan.
I can see while asleep raising up some to adjust my pillow and konking my head on the bottom edge of the above side cabinets. Installed padding on that bottom edge would be ideal!
Not impossible I suppose. Sitting here laughing while imagining explaining to my wife why j woke her up
We are ready to buy this unit. It seems perfect for us as mid 70’s travelers
(Sorry we missed you Uncle Josh!)
Now, I have NO INTEREST in small travel trailers, my wife and I popped in to see it only because it was open.
You know I can say this stuff all day until I'm blue in the face, but a viewer could easily say "Of course you say that since that's what you sell"
So I can't tell you how much I *TRULY* appreciate it when someone takes the time to share things like this. *THANK YOU* Ron!! Safe Travels :)
This is awesome. The two small things for me on this one I would change is somehow get the bed to be able to come down so I can switch it out, and the toilet space is a bit tight for me.
Can you clarify what you mean by "Bed able to come down?"
I'm a really visual person and I am having a hard time picturing what that might mean
@Josh the RV Nerd at Bish's RV I just meant when the slide is in.
Very nice camper to me I would want to change the light colored sofas to a darker color maybe a charcoal gray. That would seal the deal for me
Not a bendybed fan, but I can see the use for some people’s need.
TY Barbara! :)
Great job on the video! Love your energy! We just bought an Alta 2350KRK and I had to buy a bigger truck. My old truck would've pulled this one just fine!! Love the East-West Alta line!
That 2350KRK is awesome!
Really like this RV for couples or a single person. You can also do a bumper mounted griddle arm for those who want more of a camp kitchen. I like the mini fridge because it stops me from having to bring an extra cooler. Considering the cargo capacity, I believe they nailed it.
Agree across the board man!
Yea,,, What she said
😁
I think I actually have a 17MKE video coming out TOMORROW for comparisons!
I love this layout and have been recording different versions of it where I find them :)
Of the four like this I've seen it comes down to Alta vs Imagine as my favorite. I personally gave Alta the nod but man.. but like.. a Frog's Hair. That Imagine is also great and you NAILED the high points on it
Looking forward to your brand battle. 😄
Very well done.
This is a winner! Buy yourself a matching color for your spare tire cover and your truck and trailer are set!
Add a breakfast bar and a couple of stools like a 2514S and it’d be my perfect little RV.
Wow, an RV Nerd video that I have not watched yet. Shocking and exciting.
Do I want more exterior colors? No. I might customize a trailer with a camo wrap.
lol TY greg :)
Great counter space, nice. Cheers from Canada!
Thanks for watching!
Looking like this brand is giving some good quality. I liked the grand design when they had the east to west bed so you could have a full mattress and travel stop friendly
Josh I have to tell you I have been looking for months for the perfect RV camper under 27 feet With theater seating
That’s a must for my husband !!
But the point of this is that I have been watching many videos and looked on 💯 websites of RV trailers and you put out the best videos and the best knowledge and I really really appreciate that
Do you have a website that I could go on to see your prices on ?
I like all the other videos that have the price but they have really poor quality videos 😕
so thanks for your quality videos I only have a few months yet to buy my camper so I really really appreciate all your help
The thing I don’t like about this camper is the Murphy bed what if I wanna go to bed and my husband wants to stay up and watch TV guess he always can watch tv in bed hahahahaha
Yep! You can see listings with pricing at www.bishs.com/inventory/
Some recent arrivals might not yet have pricing applied but our team is always working on getting it caught up.
Quick note: Grand Design literally doesn't let us publish discounted sale pricing. other than that you should be able to get some ideas there
And we don't do dealer fees!
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thank you SOOOO MUCH
Exact same floor plan as the Grand Design MKE17. Great review!
For those wondering, here's the link to view a MKE17: www.bishs.com/inventory/?keyword=MKE17 (Megan - Josh the RV Nerd's Intern)
Nice floor plan, just like the Imagine 17MKE, which I would like to see you review also.
well guess what I have coming out this very saturday? :)
No RV is. None of them
Some of them may have phrases like full-time are being… But that’s not the same thing.
@@JoshtheRVNerd oh ok that’s good to know. We are going FT in a couple weeks. Thanks Josh :)
Wow... WOW!! That's a VERY interesting idea!!
seriously calling a few brand designers now to chat on the idea...
@@JoshtheRVNerd please let me know what their thoughts were, curious how open they are to new ideas.
Thanks.
#winning (Megan - Josh the RV Nerd's Intern)
Love everything this little couples trailer has to offer, in this floorplan. The kitchen is awesome. It's too bad that the fullsize mattress & slide have an issue, that makes it impossible to sleep in the bed, when the slide is in. I still love it, though! Thanks for showing us so many great ones, Josh. We nearly went to your Coldwater store yesterday, but went the one between Grand Rapids & Muskegon. Unfortunately, it was raining, so we will need to go back another day.❤️😊
Well thank you for visiting *ANY* of our door steps :)
It's super pretty! Now if only my numbers would come in! lol
So funny you say this - Our team at my home store worked hard this month and our sales manager got everyone a big scratch off ticket. A couple people actually won some good money!
@@JoshtheRVNerd that's very cool!
Nice unit. Keep it basically white. Much cooler if you can't park in the shade. Dark colors look great, but make the AC work harder.
I generally agree!
I kinda like this one U were talking about
I have a feeling that the Murphy bed has 2 snapping/ locking pins on it is to prevent the top and bottom of the footboard from banging while the camper is moving to and from each destination
THAT makes serious sense! Thank you!!
I looked at the Transcend and Surveyor that's linked in the description. I would like the Transcend the best if it had the recliners that the Alta has. I liked that you can access the bed in road mode in the Transcend. Decision, decision....
Yeah.. it's tough when you have a couple things that each nudge one another in a few good ways. TY For comparing :)
Nailed it!
East to West. Period. ‘Nuff said.
Love it
The Imagine 17MKE has this one beat for storage, especially around the Murphy bed.
Imagine's beside storage setup is about the best in the industry frankly
Only problem or question is...Do you have to make the bed up everytime you pull it down? I'm sure sheets could stay on, but blankets or quilt and pillows? You would have to find storage for all that. To me storage is very important. High on my list of must have. Love the counter top space.
You kinda do though there are a couple handy camping hacks that can help prevent that. I have a video on one coming soon actually!
I really like this floor plan but like your wife... my wife won’t even consider a murphy bed. If somehow they could keep that sofa with a private bedroom this would be a real contender. That kitchen counter space is exceptional with the placement of the refrigerator is almost perfect. I’m likin it.
Happy wife. Happy Life (Megan - Josh the RV Nerd's Intern)
Agree buddy. But man there’s something about this one. I love this rv
To the ?, Who did it best?? I'm kinda torn between East to West and Surveyor. I'm not sure if Surveyor comes with the recliners or just the dinette. Otherwise there's no comparison. I'd have to go with East to West.
+ Both have Azdel, + Outside mini fridge
Surveyor + drawers under the couch/ bed
+ Outside fridge and griddle.
Can't use bed for quick naps is Deal Breaker!!! Thanks thou🙏
My pleasure
If it's a quick nap why not use the recliner? I fall asleep in mine all the time lol
That's what's kind of cool about them. You can just "put the bed away" as desired. OR NOT!
I LOVE the front baggage doors opening to the side. Would this need an anti-sway hitch if that was loaded in front? Weight distribution learnings say to put weight over wheels, but storages are either by hitch or rear. I'm still learning, so insight would be appreciated.
I would recommend an anti swag hitch for most any vehicle towing this. You won’t regret having one
You might regret NOT having one
Love, up there with Mini lite!
I like this one. I prefer light exterior colors. Reflects more heat, and obviously absorbs less heat. As for sleeping in travel mode...looks like the theater seats fully recline.?
They recline as much as any of them do. Not FLAT, but definitely enough to take a nap
Love this one!
Me too!
I like a plain white exterior with minimal simple graphics.
I compared it to the Imagine 17MKE and this was a close race but the Alta WINS! will in Florida
I recognize strong points in both but would be curious to know what features pushed it over the edge for you?
Perfect this is the one ☝️

I bet they put the valence around the window in the slide to keep bars of sunlight from hitting the TV. That's very annoying to some of us (me!) so I appreciate that.
Love this Floorplan. Thanks for sharing!

I feel ya
The architects did a great job with this one. The outlets are where you want them. The storage and counter space is excellent. The cargo carrying capacity is awesome. Even the essentials of the propane & water hookup are in the right place. Really well done!
The black/white exterior graphics are nice and match any color truck. I'm kind of happy that the decal designers lost their color privileges. If memory serves, it was for good reason. 😂
"lost their color privileges" got me LOL'ing over here
I like the Grand Design 17MKE, for two reasons. 1) fold up steps give me access while parked in tight areas like storage or rest areas. 2) The four seasons R-Values for the roof and floors.
I feel pretty confidently Alta could pas the same testing. They do pretty much the same weather packaging
I agree for a lot of same reasons. It’s very close between a few of them but this one gets my nod personally
Josh, I really was liking this until you mentioned a bendy bed, darn it!. I need a comfortable mattress and not sure that is possible with this setup
It really seems like more and more murphy models are going that way. Rockwood continues to be one of the only ones not using this system
Yes.
Thanks for the great content as always!
If possible if you run across a 240BHXL from Salem / Wildwood could we get a review video!
Thanks again for the great videos always entertaining!
It's 100% on my list. We've had them on order for a while here at my home store. BUT.. that division just isn't making a lot of Xlite/Cruise Lites currently
Though that's STARTING to loosen up
Saw the Sunset Trail in the background. The 242 BH was the second runner up to the Freedom Express 257BHS we eventually ordered. Would love to hear your take on it.
I have a 253RB recorded and man I like what they're doing. They've made some GOOD strides. I definitely want to get my hands on more of those
I like the floorplan and the kitchen is fabulous.
Try this one.. bit.ly/3SaHyml
Totally with you. Finding the right RV for your needs is more important! (Megan - Josh the RV Nerd's Intern)
lol. I was going to say that it reminded me of a image...Nice looking, I'm not crazy about the glass panels in the kitchen, but It looks like a company headed in a good direction.
typos-
East to West probably doesn't like me saying this but this product was 100% made to compete with Grand Design's Imagine series and certainly borrowed quite a few elements
However... the more time I've spent around these the more I feel like EtW did a great job hitting their own notes and putting their own stamp on these campers.
That’s awesome thank you for sharing. I’m glad it treated you well
Love the trailer so went and looked at one After sitting down in recliner and moved table over we soon realized that we would have to contort our body to eat comfortably Not having a dinette was the deal breaker. But other than that was impressive
Dinofa concept doesn't quite fit everyone perfectly. I don't think dinettes are a thing of the past by any means but I do prefer a sofa myself
Kinda surprised me
I have the grand design one coming out tomorrow actually to compare :)
@@JoshtheRVNerd I watched it. I like this one better because of the decor and extra storage. I do like the bedside drawers on the side of the bed in the Grand Design. That looks neater than the others that are similar.
Reminds of the Grand Design 17MKE
Without a doubt. I actually have that one coming tomorrow so.. stay tuned :)
I can see your point for sure. TY
Mr Mackey idk about that COMMODE room , ummmkay . My ideal RV would be focused on the COMMODE ROOM . CR express .💣🚽💥💥
