The wife and I enjoy watching your videos here in Houston, Texas. I have a somewhat tenuous connection with Widnes, as my sister's late husband Colin Mottershead's grandfather Joseph Mottershead, who was awarded the Victoria Cross in the first world war and has recently had a statue unveiled in the park near the war memorial i believe. My cousin used to live in Warrington and his widow i believe still does. My father used to work for Crossville Bus service so we would take a bus and go for a picnic some. where along the Bridgewater canal I used to ride my bike from Old Swan in Liverpool over the Transporter and on to the canal to go fishing, probably in the late 50's well before you where born I guess. Keep up the good work and give Molly a hug for us. Cheers, Nick Jones
Great to meet you in Runcorn Kieran. Thanks for chatting whilst trying to make a video. Kieran is just as fun and charming in real life, even though he is a youtube superstar 😊
Well Mr K. That was a superb bimble mate. love it. I counted all the listed buildings on my daily cycle commute and came to a total of Zero! My homeboy turf is boring (ha ha). All the best mate.
A station that is miles away from the town centre so far that you’d need to catch a bus if you were on foot. For some reason the people I knew from Widnes always got off at hough green? A Big shout out to Mill Brow best eye clinic around I’ve been going there for 30 years passing that vent wondering what it was.

Writing a novel about Runcorn and its buildings at the moment. This was good for material. Nice video.

@@gedpitts8879 thanks so much :)
Enjoy watching your content. Always love a bit of local history, much of which is right under our noses but we know nothing about it. 👍
Oh I love those curios, almost unique and well worth preserving. Many thanks for the Bimble and the music. Best Wishes Pete.
I've always assumed that the sewer vent was an old chimney. You learn something new every day.

Great video, thanks. Much appreciated just as is your music. Which I bought from bandcamp. 👍
Being Widnesian, love it Kieran.
You should have called in to Frailers when you passed to see Frank! 🎸
Fascinating stuff again, like the hearse parking thing !
Love you
Brilliant 👏 👏 👏
Great Video (again!) love the new editing etc...
So much culture even over the dark side 😊
Cheers Kieran, fascinating as always. It's amazing how you find these obscure little curios, but I'm glad you do. 🙂(Al Kennett)
Another very informative bimble, Keiron . Didn't know most things you've brought up about our next-door neighbours .
More marvellous facts kieran I really do love these vlogs and so glad I bimbled across them. Oh and I did the lock at widnes with the magnets too 😂 👌

Nice one mate looking forward to the next one 😊
This was great 👍
Great video. The listed sewer vent was “listed” in the safety case documentation prepared for HSE on the chemical site in Widnes that I worked at.
I’m originally from halewood , which is very close to these places 👍
Love it mate. Interesting as always.
Another great bimble. And by the way Kieran, I messaged you on Facebook last night, but not sure you've picked it up yet 👍
@@OnlyMoi sorry it must be in the message requests.
