U can use the mounted crossbows in hideouts and head shots give over 1k experience, sometimes as much as 12k exp
Can confirm, this method produces over 70k per hour due to an experiment. Experiment method below, results showed just under 80k drachma per hour with an imitation siwan khopesh at lvl 40 with no master skills.
I cleared this 5 times, each time counting the claws, time taken, pelts and total income. Lions drop 4-5 pelts each and consistently 1 claw each. Average time with an imitation siwan khopesh was 17.12 sec and an income of 378.5 drachma per run. Dividing 60 by the average time, then multiplying that to the average income showed that we got around 1326.519 per minute. Multiplying this by 60 gives us 79591.121 per hour, just under 80k per hour if using the imitation siwan khopesh.

Edit: sarissa spear seems to be very very good too, cursed damage and a very large arc on light attacks, possibly faster then ISK on fury mode.

I don't use it either because it's just so dumb to use in groups because while locked on you can get easily attacked from behind.

Attain the ability skill that allows you to loot enemies after a melee kill. Saves time by not making you run around afterwards and looting the bodies. I have it and it is much quicker when I don’t have to collect and I just collect as I KILL. Great post. Great payout and you have to WORK for it, so I don’t think Ubisoft will patch it.

objective of gaming is having fun and experiencing the story and game design itself. I am currently lvl28. Yesterday I stumble upon the sundial puzzle while wandering and enjoying the area of the pyramid. I saw a meteor crashed and to my surprised it was some kind of a mission. Wont tell any spoiler but I got the ultima blade, Ziedrich shiels , and a chocobo camel. The best part of any game is on the noob stage where you are still exploring and discovering stuffs in the game. And when you do something like cheating will lessen your game experience. AC origins is my the best video game ive ever played at this moment. I wish it will maintain the surprises and amazing discoveries until the end of the game.
I Will just do the hacking or modding after I finished the story line.

I don't mind doing this at all a single player game at that...they get over on us charging us for content that should be free to us so hats off to you and other UA-camrs showing us how to get over on them and injoy our 60$ plus game without having to pay more🤙🤙
Thanks! I find that it all a matter of preference. Some people really hate the microtransactions, some really hate having to grind, some really hate when they see tricks like the disconnect/reconnect method. I personally hate when people aren't having FUN! Play your way, use whatever technique or trick lets you sleep at night, but in the end,I'd rather see people having fun instead of complaining that they're hemorrhaging money into games like Star Wars Battlefront 2 and not getting what they want lol

Found that weapons, Legendary and Rare, that show the over power bar as gold work very well since the over power will speed you up for a set amount of time. Like the Legendary weapons that poison or set the lions on fire the best as they do additional damage and stun them.
If your like me and don't really like to exploit the game with reloading/tricking etc, I found that just fast traveling to all the animal dens across the map one after an another, amount to similar amounts of items you can then sell for drachma and xp rewards. Plus after you make your circle, the dens will spawn again anyways.
That's a good bit of advice. Allows for the procurement of a diverse array of pelts as well. There will probably be a couple of Iron, Bronze, or Cedarwood convoys near each den as well which definitely helps in getting the upgrades.

I am, I haven't repeatedly reloaded to get the animals to respwan, I just move on to the next nearest ? It's almost as time consuming as doing all the ? Locations in Witcher 3.
Me neither. I enjoy the game even when I die a lot. And just by playing through the game you will earn enough ability points and money to upgrade yourself and all of your best weapons.. I do not understand why people pay 60-100euros for a game and then cheat in it. What a waste of money!
Use a cursed weapon, pop the adrenaline, dodge when you need to, and take em out. That, I think, will probably be faster.
It actually is. I have a few different cursed weapons, and with a bunch of points in the warrior skill, these lions don't have a lot of time to live lol. I enjoy the cursed staff weapons, one swipe grabs quite a few!
The cursed havy blunt is the best here u will 1 shot them quickly

I'm playing on a Xbox One and I was a little late to see this video, Jan 2018, but the pride of lions has been replace with five sleeping rams that run away as soon as you get near. You can kill the three in the middle of you charge a spinning attack as you approach, providing your weapon has enough range. There are usually one or two male lions just over the edge of the outcropping that come around and attack you as the rams flee. I found the best option is use this "kill and load" method with the female lions between the buildings at the top of the hill.
I'm using the imitation cursed sword it's ripping them to shreds takes seconds to get through them great vid though dropped a like and sub 👍👍

There's a way to get around 300K experience per hour, but requires the Curse of the Pharaohs DLC, to not have finished the main quest line for that DLC, and to have acquired the Sahalin axe cursed heavy weapon.

My tip would be to get one of those fast heavy charge weapons. Because if you get a good slash from a good side with a heavy charge then u can one shot the lion. That would make it much faster to kill them. and if its a fast charge axe then u can get multiple of them at the same time.

Use the cursed spear or the cursed sword significantly higher damage
Thats why its cursed you have greater damage but to compensate 1/3 of health
less hp though
Quick tip if you press square while falling you will take less damage
This can do with the hyena layer in siwa as well if your a beginner
Best way to play a game is level as fast as you can and make the rest of the game easy and short!
To all the people saying this isn't needed, you are right. But a post game player that has finished all quests and most locations (like i) finds this a very useful technique for the grind. I personally don't grind but this is a method I don't mind

There is another area up at the top of the map in the top corner there is around 30 animals in cages us the fire bombs to release and kill them I did it 7 times and got a lot of drachma

You complete quest cant redo if finished. You have to reset instead of completion
Just use the kopesh on horseback and hit those lions the pack at the fast travel and another pack right there in the opposite side. That should pretty much triple it right?
Try using The Serpent Axe, its a great weapon with good combos:
Dmg 413
Adreline on hit- 4bars
Bleeding on hit- 2bars
Poison on hit
Its my weapon of choice combined with that fire blade that we get from bayek's frnd
As of Aug 2020 they have changed them slightly, they are all spread out. Still able to be farmed though. Is this still the best?
You can instead kill the lions in the concrete building and around it. Usually around 5-7 lions. It's a little bit slower but the rewards are similar.
Do you have to melee kill? Or can i use Pred. Bow and burn them down? Also is this still the best spot
it depends if you put all your ability points into warrior, like the poster.
I've found away around the patch, you go to the lion lair and you only kill the boss, then you reload and kill all the other lions and when you reload the second time all the lions are there except for the boss

I think you don't even need a quest to reload objectives. You can always press it anytime
Um, kinda late, but best weapons to get it done quickly:
Any high level warrior or light bow
Any High leveled spear(Just hold the attack button for like 5 sec, he'll do a thrust and spin it 360 twice) Cursed spears are better cuz double damage.
Strat: Spam the bow untill u lose all 33 arrows. Should take approx 9 sec. Do the spear thingy. 6 sec max. Get good at positioning. Will take about 3-4 tries. Took me 3. Point is, if you position urself properly, each round of 5 lion kills can take no more than 15 sec. Reloading the objective will take 10-15 sec max. So thats 30 sec approx per round. So 2 times a min. 120 times an hour.
I'm all ears for better strats, but this is the one that i've found to work the best..

Um, update: 40 mins of farm, using enemy auto-level(which means all lions were level 39-40, not 30, coz my level is 40), led to idk how much xp, but those goodies sold for 6k gold.

I go there and no lions just some goat a little ways away(did they patch this?)
so i do have 2 lions that show up but one is to the far left hunting the said goats and one to the far right sleeping, so i think they just moved where the lions spawn so they are not all together

No lions there for me. I used the location mentioned in comments. And for your method Sarrisa spear with attack& push will clear them out the fastest. Hold R1/RB and he will spin the spear twice. Its a nasty little combo. Thanks for the help though.

You buy the tablet for 1000 drachmas and each tablet gives you 1000 XP points I think

FuqqKd bought a mount. And got a bow from the Bazar tasks. Just need Chariot
For the PC ppl there is a megagames trainer that gives 2-16X xp, level 40 already after about 2 days play, you get like 24k xp for a medium sized fort (red) mission. Done enough years of grinding =)

It you use the imitation make sure you do a lot of light hits and use the overdrive as soon as you can. Because the blade is cursed be careful because you will die if you are not careful. But it seems to work pretty well. I've been doing this for about 30 minutes and have 1,648 pelts and 232 claws. Also gotten 3 ability points. I'm happy with this way to make Money and getting points. I was worried about both of those but not anymore

I'm so far from your level I have no idea what you're talking about with the tablets... But don't you lose the xp you earned when you keep resetting the quest?
The tablets are found in a shop that opens when you beat the game. You don't lose the xp when you reset the quests, nor do you lose the items gained.
Don't think you lose your stuff if you reload, since I've lvled up mid quest then died and still had the lvl when I reloaded, same with crafting I still had the upgrade to whatever I crafted even though I died before finishing the quest, when I reloaded to try the quest again.

No, difficulty is just you challenging yourself so far. There is no achievement/trophy for it and no better or worse loot/Experience points for putting it on a harder difficulty.

Here is a better way. Rollback your game to patch 1.00. Do this by deleting your game(it wont delete your save file) then install the game again but make sure your internet connection is off so it wont update to 1.10. Then travel to Cyrene and go infront of the Bath House(its north of the market). There you will see a Roman soldier carrying iron. If you use senu, you will see that the amount of iron he carries keeps going up. I stood right beside him and left the game and went to bed. 8 hours later i had 7000 iron. Kill him then loot the iron.
Probably try using the head shot bonus ability and a high damage predator bow, efficient kills and bonus XP just take a bit of accuracy :P
buying all dlc can get you to lvl 55
What’s the purpose of grinding so hard when there’s nothing to do in endgame but the trial which takes 5 mins to do and release every 2 weeks the game is dead until the new expansion arrives in January. I doubt there will be new skill trees so with an increase cap lv to 50 it’s better to wait beside not all the skill tree is needed some are straight useless.
I think crafting items like skins can be used on different accounts so that might be why, but I could be wrong

if you're good with the bow you can take it with the bow. Predator or hunter in the easiest and quickest way
as attack weapons recommend storm blades, conductor of souls, hepzefa's sword
dual blade for regerating and fast use of overpower attack
i'm using SARISSA spears with a 200% dmg output killing with a shot

Any quest works. Its just that some people have gotten to a point where they have no quests left and the daily quest is all they have left.

What about a lepord lair? The furs are 41 each compared to 31 per lion? Is there less lepord in the lair compared to the lions?
Way ahead of you bud! Check my videos, I show you a decent Leopard farming spot and as long as you have some skill and a decent cursed weapon (The Sarissa seems to be a favorite) you can net over 100k an hour after buying XP Tablets from the Hidden Ones Bureau.

How did you get fire horse and that sword ?
Try and use a lightbow it's probably faster especially if it's a legendary one I used the composite legendary bow on some lions and they went down quickly

I'm using Hepzefas sword and I'm level 34. I need level 38 so I can kill all the Phylakes
In level 40 you can fully upgrade and become the most powerfull sword in the game.

Yes. You can also go to Apollonia, Cyrenica, be level 39. At the edge of the sea you will see cages and inside them will be lions and such wild animals. Do the same as this video. But first kill the guards there as it is a restricted area. Reload quest objective, use good weapon. Throw fireballs at the cages and you will see yourself rich.
You should make a video explaining how to beat the mission on the boat at the end of the game.

Im using the imitation siwan khopesh. If you are able to hit them with a lot of light hits then finish with a heavy when they are on low health then it goes really fast.
Lions are not the most expensive animals to sell. Leopards are priced higher. Each piece of lion leather gives you 31 drachma while each leopard pelt can be sold for 45 drachma.

Oh! I see the trick now, so this would also work when you're in an alligator lair farming supplies for upgrades.
Yes! Pretty much any animal lair, but at the time, Lion claws were big money. UbiSoft fixed that though. But you can technically do this at any lair.
Why you sold all of your materials? Maybe we can use this again in a new DLC or smth like that.

Mabey go after leopards because they sell for more. Also try a cursed spear they do over double damage, that will cut your time in half of I'm right so make it 10 points an hour
