I never saw a need for farming. Of course I pretty much did every side-quest and completed every area in a region before moving to the region or next main quest step. This had several positive effects. 1 - it was fun. 2 - it kept me a level or two above the main quest level. 3 - I always had plenty of loot. But mostly it was fun.
I think it depends on your difficulty. If you're on Nigthmare and perhaps never played the game before, it really helps. Unless you're like really good with ultra fast reflexes or something, Nightmare without some amount of preparation would be frustrating.
I had to turn auto-leveling on because even on hard it was becoming too easy, being ridiculously overleveled after doing every single side thing before progressing

I dont remember the name, but I immediately unlocked an ability that lets you use the arrows on you shield, this is extremely useful. Get a predator bow and a fire bow, than you can defeat enemies higher than you easier. Also controlling a predator bow's arrow is great too. I usually fight with bows. Because if the enemy is stronger than you, meele attacks may be dangerous. For the fire bow, dont focus on a headshot hit a body shot to burn your enemies. Fire damages the enemies more than a headshot. These are also great for hunting.
One good thing I've seen with origins is that even if you don't fast travel, there are usually all kinds of side quests and resources to gather on your way to your objective. I'm level 31 right now and I still haven't fast traveled.

Im on level 15 and I found this so useful...for some reason I thought upgrading a weapon meant changing the colour. I sold so many gold weapons for no reason. Also when you zoomed out and showed the entire map I couldn't believe it... haven't gone further than Alexandria... this is awesome.
Whenever I'm traveling to a location, I "follow road" and switch to Senu. If senu spots any nearby viewpoints, animals to be skinned or group of soldires carrying creating items, I grab them.
I noticed this last night, as I didn't think the sync points really gave much beyond the fast travel ability, and that Senu's perception was redundant. But I was wrong, as Senu's perception grows, Senu can fly higher into the air. As a result of being higher in the air, he can see A LOT more. I mean after a while you could fly up in Memphis and see things all the way out in Alexandria.
I played the majority of the game 2-3 levels under, it was difficult, but to say that you need to be overlevled 2-5 levels is completely false, if your on level with your opponents, you can Assassinate pretty much anyone but mini bosses/ captains/commanders. And once you get high level hidden blade they can be assassinated as well.

I just finished Valhalla, what a great game. Made me want more assassin's creed so.I picked up Origins for cheap ($15) so far so good. Reminds me of Odyssey quite a bit. Same leveling system, same weapons system, and overall very similar.
If you’re farming go to an animal lair kill them all then go into your quest menu and press reload quest objective and it’ll respawn you nearby and the animals will all be alive again kill them again etc: I recommend going against animals way lower level than you as you’ll one or two shot them and use a spear and do all heavy attacks it’s the quickest way to kill all of them If you want money go to a shop and sell all of your unnecessary items it works amazingly

Log into Ubisoft, by doing this different quests can give Ubisoft coins which can be spent in the Ubisoft store giving ingame items. Another tip is try to kill your targets as quickly as possible this gives you an easy way to complete side quests as killing targets give high amounts of xp.
Nah dump everything into warrior type abilities including the "assassinate when using hidden blade" and the adrenaline abilities.. Also get the hunter predator arrow skill cause it's stupidly good..
I recently discover a nice tip(for me )on both odyssey and origins, if you press X to follow the road and then L3 it will follow the person in missions like: follow him , and you can enojy the view and the conversation without doing anything
I just started another game of origins and 1 thing that was not talked aobut regarding the weapon upgrade is that the bonus traits for each weapon can never upgrade from the base lvl. What i mean is for example at 5:38 the legendary weapon have the trait (Adrenaline on kill) lvl 1 indicating by 1 white bar infront of it. That lvl 1 trait can never be improved on that weapon by simply upgrading that weapon. If u want a weapon with a specific trait stat u have to find a diffrent weapon with a better stat roll.
Big tip sell or dismantle your Blue Weapons. You don't need any of them. The game pours on enough weapons to last. Also if you find fire weapons, hold on to them cause they can set enemies on fire mid battle and they will stop to put themselves out leaving them open for hella attacks.
One tip on the farming... The water animals can get lock you in a disoriented state with repeated hits. Frustrating, even when they're lower level and not a major threat. If you use a spear- I know, not the best weapon...- the animal takes its hit before it can hit you, mostly eliminating the disoriented lock.
There is no difference in the amount of money you spend at the blacksmith waiting to upgrade or upgrading every single level. It cost $500 per level so if you go from 10 to 20 it will cost $5000. You either do it all at once or every level
I think the tip most people will forget is that if you didn’t set your game to have auto level cap (meaning enemies lower than you in rank are now your level if not one level lower), the best way to farm animals is to keep your auto level renewal off, head into places like Siwa or Alexandria at like LV 30 or more and go to town on low ranking predators and prey. You’ll nab the pelts and leathers so much faster this way I feel (at the cost of getting some fairly disappointing xp after killing an animal)
I am late to the game lol just recently started playing and the story is amazing and so much fun! Kinda cheesy but if you have the DLC you can boost to level 45 and return to the main game at level 45 and be in God mode! I find it it fun and the revenge is good for me. You can also level your opponents to make it more of a challenge.

Instead of waiting 1-1.5 hrs for animal spawns just pause game, go to Quests tab, make sure a quest is selected and reload quest objective. Instant animal spawn!
Tip 4 is wrong. Best farming area is in Kyrencia at the docks. You have a bunch of assorted animals in cages there, and maybe 4-5 guards. Kill the guards, Run around with fire bombs, throw them at the cages, most will die from the fire, but kill of stragglers. Then go into your quest tab, press Triangle or Y to reload quests. You'll respawn a short walk away, all the animals are back, along with your bombs, and the guards are dead.

Such a great game. Yeah, the mission navigation is confusing at first but the setting is so beautiful. It is technically Ptolemaic Egypt, though, and not ancient Egypt.

My suggestion: Stop watching videos of ac origins for your first walkthrough , learn the game mechanics urself .. watch guides and video from 2nd walkthrough onwards..
Small spoiler: Except charriots. Chariots are more combat focused but less maneuverable. Haven't bought one yet, but I think they also have a "nitro" so they may be faster.
I plan on saving all of my excess sellable goods like crocodile eggs and just hoarding them until i can get a big payout, i like struggling a little bit and i really like getting big lump sum payouts as opposed to small bonuses to my wallet.
I knew all of those things and I would add one more thing i usually loot the whole region and then I go to a new region bc you can get a lot of things from looting a whole region and it saves your time bc then you have wouldn’t need to go back to that region
80km^2 is not small a game by any means . Ubisoft makes great open world games that immerse the player; Wildlands was too big its around 200km^2. Be greatful that we get these amazing games to play.

To farm animals easier, go to a lair, track a quest, kill all the animals, reset the quest, and the animals will respawn. Hopefuly someone sees this.

View points are the first thing I hit. Easy XP (albeit very little), and it unlocks fast travel.
Exploring Tampa and the bird spotting is increased...
A few hundred xp is not to be sniffed at 😉

Bit late but always synch the view points as it increases Senu's view and makes tagging enemies and loot a lot quicker and easier.

Look at the video at that part. Different gold weapons at different levels costed the same amount to upgrade. So that can’t be 100% true

I'm loving this ancient Egypt setting and considering that it's very authentic makes it a historian's wet dream.
Such a great game. Yeah, the mission navigation is confusing at first but the setting is so beautiful. It is technically Ptolemaic Egypt, though, and not ancient Egypt.

Means that they are a higher level than you and you need to level up more before it's easy to kill them

Got a question, I got all the gear from Ubisoft achievements at once.
But i heard in some other guide that if I start using it or claim it before max level it gets bad potensial in the stats by upgrading it if i really like the item or items. Is that the case, or could i just start using my gift? And they will be the same at max Level anyway?

they dont give a damm, even if its not your fault in different errors, glitches etc.

Blizzard, ggg etc have always been taking the players experience seriously. Fixing problems asap and money back to account, pluss some useful compensation, like gear, resources or even full packs etc for the incontinence, and real explanations. Felt illegal beeing treated like a leecher when they are the ones doing false advertising etc. Never get to fix my accounts on Ubisoft etc. Made a second once in middle of huge frustrasjon with their bs, and i was only saying Things with key words. So nothing could go wrong. They Almost deleted my main account and did all opposite of my help or correcting and get info about the stuff i could not see.
Support seems like Alpha ai's. Its s lost cause, just like welfare in all countries I bet.Only wish you death. Tragic how the world is turning.

My suggestion: Stop watching videos of ac origins for your first walkthrough , learn the game mechanics urself .. watch guides and video from 2nd walkthrough onwards..

What are the differences between the riding animals? Are there like faster horses and slower horses? Or are they just skins?
Just skins. All mounts run at the same speed
Small spoiler: Except charriots. Chariots are more combat focused but less maneuverable. Haven't bought one yet, but I think they also have a "nitro" so they may be faster.
I have found some mounts to be better in the desert and others better in the city 😂 maybe placebo effect?
I plan on saving all of my excess sellable goods like crocodile eggs and just hoarding them until i can get a big payout, i like struggling a little bit and i really like getting big lump sum payouts as opposed to small bonuses to my wallet.

I knew all of those things and I would add one more thing i usually loot the whole region and then I go to a new region bc you can get a lot of things from looting a whole region and it saves your time bc then you have wouldn’t need to go back to that region

Timothy Freeman after you unfog the whole map it really does feel smaller.
80km^2 is not small a game by any means . Ubisoft makes great open world games that immerse the player; Wildlands was too big its around 200km^2. Be greatful that we get these amazing games to play.
