- Pineapple cake, which is loved by many people, is a famous snack with a crispy outer skin and a sweet and sour filling. Whether the pineapple cake is delicious or not, the filling is the key. Considering the cost, many of the pineapple cakes sold in the store are made with winter melon. In order to make the pineapple cake richer, pineapple essence is added.
Today I will share with you how to make golden, silky and sweet and sour stuffing. The stuffing can be used to make any pineapple dessert and pineapple tea.
Due to the different varieties of pineapples, if the pineapple you bought is very sour, adding a little baking soda when frying the stuffing can change the acid-base environment in the pot and remove part of the sour taste of the pineapple.
There is no need to put butter or vegetable oil in the frying of the stuffing, which keeps the stuffing in its original flavour。
Pineapple stuffing ingredients:
Pineapple:1300 g
White sugar: 100 grams
Brown sugar : 45 grams
Maltose: 80 grams
