If they don’t play this at my funeral, I’m not going!,,
😁
Very beautiful funereal hymn. The third verse is a beautiful picture of entering into the Promised Land.
me either!!!
Amen
😁❤😅👍...me too!
This Welshman, Bryn Terfel, is the absolute iconic Baritone of this generation as well as being an outstanding musician.
I so enjoy Bryn Terfel. I had the privilege of seeing here in South Africa a few years ago.
Every now and then, an absolute gem turns up amongst the dross in my Facebook recommendations.
Love this singer, and this song in Welsh and English,
My hairs are standing up,Awesome,Amazing I met the man myself years ago.....
Wonderful voice. I don't understand a word of Welsh but it sounds fantastic. I think the band is wonderful. Beautiful playing.
Perfect ! Should be sung in Welsh always. Thanks Bryn. Much Appreciated Lad ! Cymru Am Byth !!❤❤
How truly beautiful, please be safe and well our Bryn,,,x
I heard this many times in my house. Mom played the piano. Dad sang.
Bread of heaven in Welsh?? How wonderful!!!
"See Him there among the myrtles
Worthy object of my thoughts . . ."
Just as it should be.
Nice music .Great voice !
Sublime!
Ty Mawr is the colliery nearest to the Chapel Rhondda where this was first performed, my father worked there and was born I now demolished village of Gyfeillion opposite.
This cries out Wales to me.
Ah one of my favorite hymns
Sir Bryn is a force of nature.
This song is more beautiful in Welsh language❤. So much more feeling and respect than in English text
This the guy from the coronation? Chubby Ed Balls?? Great voice ❤
Superb, could do with some tenors for the repeats!
_1982 Hymnal_ does the repeats in the bass line -- very easy.
don't blame you
Pit head makes me so sad, thinking of the poor miners also women wsiting at pot head for the husband's & sons many just boys 😢
Miller Betty Lopez Sharon Clark Donna
know what you mean butty bach
Moving song but all about religion, which has and still is the major source of war and the death of millions
Wele'n sefyll rhwng y myrtwydd
Wrthrych teilwng o fy mryd;
Er o'r braidd 'rwy'n Ei adnabod
Ef uwchlaw gwrthrychau'r byd:
Henffych fore! Henffych fore!
Caf ei weled fel y mae.
Caf ei weled fel y mae.
Rhosyn Saron yw Ei enw,
Gwyn a gwridog, hardd Ei bryd!
Ar ddeng mil y mae'n rhagori
O wrthddrychau penna'r byd;
Ffrind pechadur! Ffrind pechadur!
Dyma'r llywydd ar y môr.
Dyma'r llywydd ar y môr.
Beth sydd imi mwy a wnelwyf
Ag eilunod gwael y llawr?
Tystio 'r wyf nad yw eu cwmni
I'w gymharu a'm Iesu Mawr.
O, am aros! O, am aros!
Yn Ei gariad ddyddiau f'oes!
Yn Ei gariad ddyddiau f'oes!
Can't hear the singer
He is a bit lost, isn't he?
