Thanks for the video. Do you put a swivel at the top of the leader ? And then connect the braid to the swivel? And do you use a loop knot onto the hook ? Thanks in advance.

You can tie the leader straight to hook

Can you use this technique with smaller hooks and other kinds of soft plastics? To be used with a lighter set up amongst the rocks for bream and blacktail?

The soft plastic needs to be a certain design to rig the hook.
Will be difficult to get that hook in a small size
