The map is upside down ya'll. (Ya'll like "What?") I just found out the original world map has Africa on top and Europe on the bottom. The sizes of parts of the world are exaggerated. South America is much larger than Greenland. Europeans changed the map. You may say that's not important. If it wasn't important why did Europeans change it then?

As black ppl we make things difficult on ourselves mentally. One day i said forget all the youtube videos and teachings and just sat down with my mother and asked her about our family tree. First thing she mentioned was my grandmother & great grand. She told me they were from a Cherokee reservation in NC. I look at pics of them as well as my grands on my dads side and they have a reddish tint to their skin and hair or straight jet black hair. The answers are there yall, you just gotta start at home. If youre fortunate enough to have your elders around still, take the time to sit with them and find out for yourself...and youll see the info like what this brotha is providing lines right up with our real time family tree stories.

They don't give us no citizenship. They don't even see us as them. So, why would we claim that? You do know there were already people in this land before Europeans came here right? Anything but Africa. Anything but African. If you are black in the US( Hell, anywhere in this cruel world), you will be taught history in a way that will attack your very existence. Exactly how long do you think the slavery would have lasted without the gun. Colonialism would not have even occurred. We are not inferior, but the Europeans did have a superior weapon.
Since everyone wants to be identified with beauty and success, what makes you think you are going to be taught what it takes for you to love your self and people. It is a full time job for some of the most shrewed sociologist to work with military personnel, authors, media moguls and so on just to keep us confused. Is Mr. Davis working w/ them? I truly don't know. But I am very suspicious of blacks that deny the existence of the African Slave trade or go out of their way to claim America as their true nation because it wont offend whites.

There are more Native Americans than people think, or there are less Black people than people think. If Steph Curry, Beyonce, etc. are Black, then George and Mario Lopez are Native American. They look a hell of a lot like the earliest portraits of Native Americans (e.g., Ninigret, Tee Yee Neen Ho Ga Row, & Tishcohan to name just a few) and they look a lot more Native than many folks on reservations. Also, there are more pure Natives in Latin America than the US. Tribal affiliation should not be a requirement for claiming Native ancestry. Phenotype and genotype should. Right now, we have many White and Black people who have stolen our heritage, and it's time to take it back. Our ancestors would want it to be so, and so would our Mestizo brothers and sister's non-rapist ancestors.

Black people in the Americas should look at themselves and ask who do they look like? we don't look like any particular group of black people, why is that? when you go to another continent and see another similar black person you can tell who is from the Americas because we have a distinct look, we don't look like we're from Mali, Nigeria, Congo, Solomon Islands, Australia, Fiji, when you go to these places they can't place us as from there country because we look different as do they to us, this is because we are from the Americas.
Look at the nose from the lecturer, that nose is not really found in African countries, it's not white that's for sure, I have a good idea and I suggest black people look at their own families and see who they are similar to? put an afro on him and there is not one country in Africa he will look similar to the people with, but the verbal conditioning well tell people to see him as African.....but he's not.

Nice video and good point. I am African and I really get what you are saying. I might have a different opinion as to why Africans and African Americans might have different views of life today. It is important to know that these stereotypes are wrong and are recent stereotypes. Africans had been slaves in Africa just as you all African Americans were slaves in America. The 2 largest economies in Africa only gained its independence from colonial masters about 54 yrs ago. Which means they had been slaves all through the colonial era. Freedom only came when some Africans came to America to study and saw African Americans fighting back and causing laws to be changed in their favor. The Africans took these ideas back to African and started various movements that freed countries like Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa. This was the history most of the Africans had before coming to live or study in America. The story of the civil rights movement and great accomplishment of the African American for years. You are right that there is a disconnect. I don't know where it all got twisted because most of our leaders in Africa who liberated the Continent from the Europeans were members of the civil right movement back in the days as Students in America. That means they identified with African Americans and embraced the struggle which had a trickle down effect to the liberation of a continent. Of the top of my mind I just think African Americans best role models are gone. The like of Martin Luther King or even Malcom X and various leaders who died in the struggle. A different culture took over and as Africans, we don't look too good. It must be a divide and rule tactics where our differences are pointed out to us because it is obvious that if we are united, we will achieve more as black people. That is my little contribution and just hope that the black nation can unite and achieve more as all Martin Luther kings dreams are not fully fulfilled.

Black Native Americans lived on the prime farming lands of New England, the Southeast and the Midwest. The first slaves in the United States were Black Native Americans.
Whites forced over 100,000 Native Americans to cultivate tobacco, rice, and indigo. As a result, many Black Native Americans were exterminated or sold into slavery after they had wars with the whites or other Indian tribes. Like people in Africa, the Native Americans sold each other into slavery for guns and cheap goods. The whites concentrated on encouraging the Indians to fight each other so they could buy the losing tribal members as slaves. They also kidnapped Native Americans and made them slaves. Because the Black Native Americans were farmers they concentrated on enslaving Black Native Americans.
Black Native Americans who were not sold into slavery had to identify themselves as 'free colored", the same as freed African slaves. This was done by the government to make sure the Black Native Americans would lose their rights to land stolen by the whites. Since most Black Native Americans were sold into slavery or identified as "free colored"they did not mix with whites. The following books talk about the Native American slave trade Gary Zellar, African Creeks: Estelvste and the Creek Nation (2007), James F. Brooks, Captives and Cousins: Slavery, Kinship, and Community in the Southwest Borderlands (2002); Tiya Miles, Ties That Bind: The Story of an Afro-Cherokee Family in Slavery and Freedom (2006); and Theda Purdue, (2005).

There were other African people abducted in the slave trade, but the majority were 3 previously mentioned. DNA is proof. Look up the Igbo people. Our people have been taught by the oppressor, to be a shame of Africa.. Europeans however, learned religion and civilization from Africa. 99% of Africas history has been hidden by Europeans. Africans were using iron before Europe even existed. Israel is in northeast Africa. is. Both Islam and Christian faiths come from Africa.

That's not true. There were groups of Native Americans that were joined by Africans, such as the Seminole, Wampanoag, and a few others. Check your info. UA-cam's hustlers like Dan Calloway and others are aware that some of us are not aware of our own history, and some are simply taught to be ashamed of it. They know that controversial subjects bring a lot of comments and likes which brings money from these UA-cam videos. This brings advertisements.... Our blood type E1B1a comes directly from West Africa. Of course, there were African explorers landing in north and South Ame4rica before the Dutch, British and Spanish.. The truth of the matter is, those Africans were a small group. Today's Black Americans are descendants of the Igbo, Ewe, and Yoruba people of West and Central Africa. Black Cubans are of the Yoruba mostly. The African religions Candomblé, Santeria and others are African rooted belief systems brought over by stolen ancestors. The words Yams (sweet potato) -Goober (peanuts) Coffee, banana, and other foods came with those Africans. The words Hip, Jazz, Jambalaya and plenty more were brought here on the slave ships. The 5 civilized tribes had Black slaves that they got from the Europeans. The Europeans called them civilized because they copied the ways of the ""White man". People, we are not Indians or Native Americans. We are Africans in America. Stop fooling yourselves. By the way, take an DNA test.

Roots faced two lawsuits that charged plagiarism and copyright infringement. The lawsuit brought by Margaret Walker was dismissed, but Harold Courlander's suit was successful. Courlander's novel The African describes an African boy who is captured by slave traders, follows him across the Atlantic on a slave ship, and describes his attempts to hold on to his African traditions on a plantation in America. Haley admitted that some passages from The African had made it into Roots, settling the case out of court in 1978 and paying Courlander $650,000.[26][27]
Genealogists have also disputed Haley's research and conclusions in Roots. The Gambian griot turned out not to be a real griot, and the story of Kunta Kinte appears to have been a case of circular reporting, in which Haley's own words were repeated back to him.[28][29] None of the written records in Virginia and North Carolina line up with the Roots story until after the Civil War. Some elements of Haley's family story can be found in the written records, but the most likely genealogy would be different from the one described in Roots.[30]
Haley and his work have been excluded from the Norton Anthology of African-American Literature, despite his status as the United States' best-selling African-American author. Harvard University professor Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr., one of the anthology's general editors, has denied that the controversies surrounding Haley's works are the reason for this exclusion. In 1998 Dr. Gates acknowledged the doubts surrounding Haley's claims about Roots, saying, "Most of us feel it's highly unlikely that Alex actually found the village whence his ancestors sprang. Roots is a work of the imagination rather than strict historical scholarship."[31]

He told you about what a guy in the Navy told you about the Atlantic starting at 42:00," that those waves aren't playing". Apparently the same Navy guy didn't tell him about the doldrums. "The doldrums are also noted for calm periods when the winds disappear altogether, trapping sail-powered boats for periods of days or weeks" on what in other words were placid calm seas. "The term doldrums appears to have arisen in the 18th century, when cross-Equator sailing voyages became more common". However, after attempting to sail on the Atlantic Ocean dating back to the mid 1300s and failing for the next 50 years because of inadequately built maritime vessels, the Europeans by the height of the slave trade 100 years later knew when it was relatively placid or safe to cross the Atlantic and how long it would generally take to do so, since Christopher Columbus had made multiple voyages already before 1500 and it had become common knowledge.

Just because they say something happened doesn't mean it did. Now, if Google Notre Dame Cathedral Floor plan and then Google, the so called slave ship diagram that we supposed to have come over on, you will see where this nonsense started. They hatched that plan right there. We were in tribes all over America. What happened... When we went to fight in the Seminole Wars down in Florida they stole all the land and sold it. This was what the Louisiana purchase was about and all the other explorations that took place. When we went south they brought those Dawes Rolls so called Indians in, up through north " the trail of tears," and they replaced us. They signed all the treaties by claiming they were us because they had color. They signed the land away and took our identities.

There's a whole bunch of different Africans the different looks cell with wide nose if someone with more pointed nose like the Ethiopians. An Ethiopian hair is straight more like Native Americans. I don't know what this man's motives quit trying to convince you that there was no slaves from Africa. And the answer to his question about why so many Africans coming here to America. Africans not the only one that migrates. You have Canadians that migrates to Australia. You have Australian that migrates to Denmark. People have the right in this modern day and time to migrate whatever they wish. And one thing about it I'm not one of these stupid people that believe Africa has nothing but starving people and live in huts with wild animals running everywhere. Some of the malls are more beautiful than our malls, restaurants, hotels, in their city parks would put some of ours to shame. I think it's really cool when you can walk up to it ice cream stand at the city park and buy ice cream cones. Now how cool is that. For instance Lagos Nigeria city bus transportation will make any city bus terminal in America look like a sardine can. They have highways and freeways just like they have here in America. Just go on UA-cam and Google and asked about the housing and subdivisions in Africa and City Life. African-American have been lied to their entire life about Africa it's time that we stop being ignorant about the true Africa and what it really looks like. He's talking about Africans moving to America but he don't talk about how many black families I'm getting the hell out of America and moving to Africa can live a good life. DES in darsalam alone you can get a 5-bedroom beautiful mansion for $350 or a little less. Just check out the conversion difference in American money and their money. There are hundreds of videos of black African Americans showing their DNA test results. On average Yall are around 30% European and 70% African. maybe 0.5% Indigenous Native American if youre lucky. You guys are a product of the Slave trade and DNA proves it and will trace it. Indigenous Mexicans and other Native American tribes are dark skinned but they are not african slaves. They are Indigenous Native Americans. Do a DNA test to see where you come from. Most blacks are shocked to see that they are actually from Africa.
IN 50 YEARS, THE USA IS GOING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE PRE-COLUMBUS AMERICA. WHITE & BLACK PEOPLE, MOVE OVER, BE COOL, OR GET OUT.

He argues that slave ships couldn't carry 400 people across the Atlantic because of the weight. But, the average tonnage of an 18th century vessel was about 960,000 pounds. If you suppose that everyone of the 400 people weighed about 200 pounds, you get 80,000 pounds. Which means, the average ship had more than enough tonnage to carry 400 human beings. As for hurricanes. Hurricanes aren't giant storms that take over the whole Atlantic and make it impassable. Hurricanes are highly localized storms which occur with more frequency during a certain part of the year. During most of the years of the slave trade, there were about 5 documented hurricanes in the entire Atlantic during any given year, and yes, ships were lost. But, the vast majority of shipping wouldn't have been impacted. His evidence is......not evidence. It's a parody of common sense.
