I'm Mississippi Choctaw, recently asked my great grandmother, and she told me right away. Nobody else had a clue. Everyone needs to do their genealogy, our story means so much.

Buy UR grandma a DNA test. Choctaw R a large family thats related 2 one another N one way or another by clans or family unit & if she isn't enrolled then shes not Choctaw. Everyone thats Choctaw R enrolled. A.A. love the idea of having Indian ancestry so all 38 million A.A. families have the same family myth that they have Indian ancestors.

Met Chief Sek’hu Hadjo, his family, and a small band of Yamassee/Seminoles in St. Augustine at Fort Mose’ recently. He’s the truth and has an immense amount of knowledge and understanding. I gave him a cigar, we took a couple of pics, and his family made a Seminole necklace for me. I felt at home.🙏🏾 🪶

As an Indian whose family was taken to the Caribbean and then born and raised in Europe, I cannot stress how much you need to pay attention to what he said about Europeans classing anyone that was not European as BLACK, I remember growing up seeing East Indians, Pakistanis, Chinese and West Indians being classed as Black... Now I made my way back to the homelands with thanks to the guidance from the creator (Sun, Moon and Earth), what an amazing journey my bloodline has had.
Use these things called haplogroups to find who you really are 😂 writen records are unreliable, people lie 🤷 your DNA is more accurate.

I am an indigenous Arawak native from the West Indies. It's refreshing to see someone speaking about the real heritage of the western hemisphere. One of the things they don't seem to know, or to really understand is that my particular tribe had been in the western hemisphere over 4000 years before the Asiatic tribes came to this part of the world. We often forgotten because we were pushed out of the Americas and ended up most of us in the West Indies Caribbean's, and even some cut all the way to the Polynesian Island. Of all the European try to commit genocide in our people some of us did survive. It has stories passed down. We do remember, thank you again for bringing out some of the real history of the dark skin people. Who are the first inheritance of this land? We are not Indians. We are indigenous tribal native of these lands. We have many different names, language, and culture, but we are from the same root. Thank you for bringing this conversation to the forefront and I look forward to listening to your podcast and perhaps in the future have a conversation with you.

Did my ancestry this year, I was always told we were Blackfoot & Mi'kmaw, wasn't until my father remembered his father stressing WE ARE CREEK, did I find the land allotments and ancestral land in Oklahoma/ Alabama. My Great Grands 6 of 8 were "Black NDN." Choctaw, Cherokee, Muscogee Creek, and Blackfoot on my "American" side. still discovering the Nova Scotian bloodlines. If U have Blackfoot ancestry it would come up with some of the same haplogroups of Northern Plains Indians but DNA can't tell U if U come from Blackfoot. Thats why tribes refuse 2 accept DNA test results. Some DNA companies will give U names of ppl U would B related 2

I’m Black American and proud. I also recognize that I have mixed ancestry (Choctaw & Black and possible European somewhere down the line..). However I’ll say this - I think it’s interesting that Black Americans get push back for claiming Native American ancestry and are instead encouraged to claim their African ancestry and shamed for not doing so despite Africa being a whole other continent we have no contact while a lot of Blacks from the south can easily trace Native American ancestry due to proximity. According to my great aunt, my great grandfather was Choctaw and he’s documented as Indian in the census. Are family is from MS, the state known for Choctaw population. I don’t doubt my African ancestry I however cannot trace it. Native American ancestry easily traceable due to proximity. I would love to get to know more but am hesitant due to judgement..

My grand parents were born in the twenties, seven years apart. And my great grand and great great grand were born in the 1800’s.
My grandfathers mother was documented indigenous/native, his father was an African man who was “breeded” a Mandingo.. I’ve been treading this journey for a while am I am definitely going further into the future with this information. I'm 49 yrs old from Minnesota, but my great grandmother on my grandmother's side was chaktaw or Blackfoot or creole from Louisiana. My other great grandma was off the boat and didn't speak English. I know I have native and African roots. I feel like the prehistoric migrations of our people simply led to our populations all over the world. After I had a chance to look at it, I respected the fact that you were able to be in contact with your native roots, and that you were proud of your ancestry. So at that point, I decided to share a bit of information with you about myself I hope others learn from you, not to criticize or prejudge anyone, but to take the time to listen without making assumptions. I'm proud of my, native roots as well as speaking my language, and being brought up in the culture with my grandparents and great-grandparents. I did not question what you said in your video about your heritage, and I did not try to second-guess you or to make assumptions, about whether or not they were truthful. I respect-it. At the age of 72, I look back at all these things, and I remember, and I still see it in the faces of other natives. One of the things that is hard to understand is that when there were a few of us, the conquering culture seemed to ignore us, and when there were less of us, they often said that we didn't exist. I remember all the stories that were told to me by my grandparents and great-grandparents and also my own experience. I'm glad to know that you are well-rooted in your culture. It should be honored, but at the same time, please do not make assumptions or criticize others about their knowledge of their culture or make assumptions when you do not know 100% what the facts are.

It took literally from 1492 until 1981 for Europeans to realize that We were African anything??? I remember the colored and white signs. I remember transitioning from colored to black. James Brown cooned the black title for Us after MLK was assassinated. I remember transitioning again from black to African American. Jesse Jackson with the help of Alex Hailey cooned the African American title for Us. Warner Sallman created the white Jesus at the request of the church. He was given the criteria, and he converted a younger picture of himself into the modern American image of Jesus. This happened during the late 1930's or early 1940's. Moor is another myth thats told. Absolutely zero DNA evidence of Moor ever being N America. The only DNA evidence of ppl living here are only N.A.s. No other race of ppl except the Vikings N the 1300's ever set foot on American soil & the Vikings didn't stay long. They brought diseases & left.

Indians didnt start dying until other races exposed 2 old world diseases came here, which caused Indians 2 die off very quickly. A.A. & Moor would have been full of diseases, so we know Moor never came here.
