To hear more of his range have a look at I See Fire. They adopted that dog recently, and it never leaves Geoff's side.

I hope Geoff covers more Jim Croce songs, his voice suits them so well.

His voice suits a lot of past artists that he could do. His wide range and artisticability fits so many artists and genres.

The clones are different. Goff, Jeff, Geoff, Jeoph, and Darryl. Jeff’s my favorite. ❤️

Jim Croce was huge during the hippie era; he died young in 1973, a year after this song was released.
Geoff's family had a cat for 14 years, he died last year. They just were approved to adopt the golden retriever.
Geoff's notes about the song are informative and amusing. For one thing, no Geoff's were harmed during the production of the video.
    Great reacton!

Geoff has been working to make each of his clones move a little differently than the others. It can't be easy. Notice the shadows on the ground. Extra detail to add to the realism.

In the Bloopers video available to his Patrons, you see Kathy coaching him on how to use his hands, the clapping, and the stomping. I think she also directs where to look, etc. They work so well together! He did say before the premiere that it had been hard work making this video. I think it's his best so far!

Geoff has named his "clones" and they are usually arranged, left to right, as Goff, Daryl, Geoff, Jeoph, and Jeff. With the exception of Daryl, these are all spellings/misspellings of his name. The names were started in the Way Down cover and finalized in the Ghost Riders in the Sky video. If you really want to hear Geoff's higher register, check out his cover of High and Dry. Geoff really enjoyed the scatting at the end of this song. This was filmed by Geoff and Kathy with at "a random studio in Orlando" as the PattyCake Production's studio was busy. This video was fueled by peanut butter and jam sandwiches.

If you want to hear more of Geoff's higher register you should check out Voiceplay's cover of Oogie Boogie's Song. Geoff portrays Oogie and is all over the place with some amazing highs and lows. At the time it was Geoff's lowest note to date although he has since surpassed it.

I thought 'Slim's' entrance felt a bit 'rap', too. I think it was the difference in his hand movements. When he's singing higher, his hands are farther up in the air. And since this song is kind of sing-speak??
I also love the way Geoff did 'Slim's' voice as more tenor than the beginning of the song. It not only reinforces that this is another person, but one that feels a bit younger and possibly naive. Which in the end could have had a lot to do with being under-estimated in the fight. I get the feeling Jim didn't take him seriously.
I really love the change in arrangement to percussion-heavy over Croce's more acoustic guitar heavy sound. I really loved the original, too, when it came out. But after hearing this, the original feels more like a tall story being told by a story-teller who may or may not have been present. And I feel that a good part of why this felt more menacing was adding the Stomps and Claps percussive beat. That kind of felt like something fans would do in a sports arena, which upped the testosterone level and helped balance out those gorgeous harmonies. And it DOES fit better with the actual 'story'.
And lastly (or is it firstly since it is the beginning?), I love the resonant buzz in the hums at the start. Feels a bit 'dirty', like that Pool Hall might have had sticky floors long before the fight began. I'm surprised by that, since he has done those same hums before and I did not feel that way then. Not sure what makes the difference to me this time.

Geoff's upper registers? Check out his cover of Ed Sheeran's "I See Fire" from the end credits music from The Hobbit Desolation of Smaug.
