Lol Jeffrey in the background just adds so much warmth and playfulness to this video!!
" • Be realistic in functionality so you're not chasing wardrobe aspiration" Such an a-ha moment for me. Thank you Audrey. Many times I get drawn in by Pinterest fashion, but it doesn't serve my "real life" and just hangs in my closet for events that rare.
And no one will tell how stunning does she loooks in that video ❤
Love your videos. But i must say my favorite is your beautiful kitty exploring in the background. I am a cat rescue/volunteer/speaker & advocate for kitties- so you got my attention . Thank you again for your content. Truly enjoy.
Great ideas about refreshing clothing you already have. Would love to see a video expanding on this one! Thank you for giving us choices!
Hi Audrey, just the other day I was commenting with my sis that we missed the thick fall issues of the fashion mags, such as Vogue. Thanks for continuing to inspire us with the feminine classics with a twist ! 💄👠❤️🇨🇦
You look great Audrey in today's outfit.😍
Thank you so much!
the Red is so great
An inspiring video!🥰 I love the combination of all these practises instead only focusing on 1 thing. Creating our own recipe for an authentic vibe.👌 Applicable to any area of our lives. ❤
I'm loving burgundy and grey this fall. Just purchased a navy wool/blend blazer that I am loving. Can't wait to wear it. I too, live in a warm climate, so I am looking forward to cooler temperatures. I admire your planning tips. I did the same thing as you, Audrey. I purchased Vogue magazine to get some inspiration. I love the physical touch of books and magazines. There are also great articles to read.
Love the colors, I tend to use the same. This fall I’m planning to mix the items also to give them a new look. I’m glad I’m not the only one that tends to style the clothing the same as previous years.
I love your cat! Show him more often please. And and a big thank you for introducing me to Sezane. Fantastic for the money you pay. Petra
Absolutely showcase the beautiful cat! Yes Petra!
I haven't held a physical magazine in years! Thanks Audrey for the wonderful! Have a nice weekend!
Your inspo are beautiful and feminine. Wardrobe planning will be a fun weekend activity. Thank you♥
Been waiting for this video for such a long time. Your videos and style inspo are so peaceful. Not having to rush through trends and impulse buying because what a runway says for the season. Thank you 🥰
Always love your Pinterest picks! Perhaps you need more cross body bags? You have a beautiful collection but they don’t look terribly practical. Would love to see a video on small styling details inspired by Pinterest images
I love the colour palette, very similar to what I would pick, thanks for sharing 🙂
Thank you - a great start for the new season.
I’m over 70 but I absolutely love your style
This is SO helpful! Enjoy NY. My youngest moved there and loves the weather.
Black Saffron. Great choice. I just purchased a bottle too. As well as Gypsy Water. Both fragrances are scrumptious for fall!
Great video Audrey. Ty so much.
Really enjoyed this video, thx Audrey.
Thank You!! Great video.
Thank you, very helpful 😊❤
Love the cat and the nondigital ideas!
I love your fashionista cat, giving the Regal nod of approval, for Fall wardrobe styling.
I love, love, love huge volume on sleeves. I just tailored in one of my White knit pullovers from "over sized" to fit; "hit my waist & rib cage", keeping the volume sleeves and V neck line. Will wear it with high waisted, white, wide leg tailored ladies pants. The out fit is gorgeous now.
Go to a tailor if you can't sew at home, fellow lovers of life!

Loving that color combo on you gorgeous
I picked up a magazine for inspiration, too!
Yay!
🥰❤️
LOL I think you and I were at the Whitney the same VERY hot summer day!
❤❤❤
Oh yes, burgundy is very chique and the right thing for autumn. When it comes to bags, do you also have recommondation for convertable bags you can wear als a backbag as well and/or bags with theift protection?
Excellent approach!🧡I have so many lovely Fall pieces, but I get overwhelmed and end up wearing my "uniform"...😿
I'm in the habit of filling my pockets instead of using all my beautiful bags. Thanks for the reminder.
Would love some recommendations for cotton shirts. Hard to find pretty and breathable tops not made of plastic!
So nice to see you wearing your signet ring again. I am greatly attracted to them but unsure what to have engraved. I thought of a bee but wondered if that wouldn't end up looking like a fly.
Not if you find a good engraver- perhaps a tattoo artist?
I so much want these sezane pants. Unfortunately, it sold out in my size. 😭
❤❤🥰
Can you link the chain, the short one?
I'm curious, what was the name of the magazine, please? 🌺💗
I’ve more recently realized that I don’t know what color palettes and I’m not sure how to go about figuring that out. I remember way back in high school we did color analysis (figuring out what season you are) and that was so confusing to me and I never got it figured out! I’ve used a couple of different apps to try and help with color analysis, but they were very inconsistent. Any ideas how to more easily find what colors are best for me?
Can you please link the short chain you have on?
Hi,
It was such a great video. I have an interview coming up and I am really not sure how to approach that. The position in social media executive and I am a fresher so I am really nervous and feeling like white shirt and blue jeans is all I have what should I do? I am not good with make up either and I do not want to look like a fool. Can you please help.
Love your videos. For me it is always headache to match shoes to the different skirts…so it doesn’t look too fancy yet not too casual..snickers are so boring…
My bad wardrobe habit to not make it to the seamstress. 😅
Hi Jeffrey!
I wish I had time for this kind of thing!😅
I never feel chic in sneakers. Is it an age thing? I am in my 60s but always put together …
Yes, I think it is an age thing. I am 56, and it is a case of been there, done that in the 80's.
White trainers/sneakers were very popular in the 80's then became really naff and rarely seen for years and over the last couple of decades made a comeback.
I dislike them worn as part of a day wear outfit, particulalry the current popular look of wearing them with long floaty skirts/dresses.
I would feel so frumpy in that look.
I do own a pair though, in navy, that I wear for practical reasons - hiking in the woods and hills.
I have always thought the holy grail of footwear design was to create stylish but comfortable shoes.
Whilst ballet flats are chic, I find the soles are too thin and I also need something chunkier to balance out my more chunky calves.
@@softsophisticate yes I like the chunkiness, but not a sneaker. I’ve made Chelsea boots work with the floaty skirt.
Hello. Would anyone have a recommendation for quality tights to wear with skirts?
I have worked in clothes shops for years that sell tights.
I would say, go to a large store that has a good selection and also has fabric sample squares that you can touch and stretch over your hand to see how sheer or thick it is.
Start by thinking:
What is your personal style for winter about which type/thickness you want to wear,
For feminine / sophisticated looks:
You have thin / very sheer tights - 10- to 15 denier. Whilst beautiful, and make it look like you have bare legs, they ladder easily and I usually only get a couple of wears out of them. You can get ladder free versions, but they don't have that luxurious look. They come in skin colour, black, navy, and I have seen in colours such as bottle green.
For a practical look:
There are the thicker "Opaque tights" where you can't see the skin.
They start at 40 denier, and go upto 100 denier.
These look very nylon. I like 40 denier, where you can slightly see the skin, 60 denier you can't, and 100 denier I find a bit thick. I like them in black and navy
For a trendy / creative look
Try the Opaque tights in a colour, there are lots of options, such as wine, teal, purple, mustard. They are a cheap and easy way to add a pop of colour to an outfit.
For a natural / cosy look
There are woolly tights, that come in neutrals, colours, patterns, plain knit, rib knit, textured knit.
For a sexy / glam look
There are lacy and patterned tights or the glam/retro look with a line up the back of the leg.
Tights are a fantastic way to cheaply change the look of a basic outfit.
Basic winter skirts are - denim, a neutral pencil skirt, a cord or velvet skirt, a checked skirt.
Imagine a black knee length pencil skirt with these different styles of tights that totally changes it's look.
Sheer black with a line up the back - sophisticated and sexy
Black with silver flecks - perfect for a xmas party
Black or wine 40 denier Opaque worn with black ankle boots - trendy
Black/cream/grey fairisle patterned knit - a winter / hygge look.
Have fun being creative with tights.
Thank you ❤
Where I live, it seems as if perfumes are fading away in terms of style. I’ve heard many comments about scent offending people, and i’m getting very reluctant to wear it except for the teeniest amounts. I’ve heard the same about men’s colognes. Curious about your thoughts on this
Someone once said that a woman's perfume should only be noticeable when standing three feet or closer to her . ( meaning noticing it any further away , the scent is much too strong ) This is a nice guideline .
I'm a pocket -holic too! I find it difficult to carry bags with coats or jackets as the strap of the bag tends to fall off, which I find irritating. Any tips on how to carry a bag without having to hold it in my hand. Thanks!
Cross body bag should help
Thanks! @@denisedorsey2889
Nice to see you showing off your beautiful legs in NY and looking so young and natural
SHOW US JEFFREY
I really enjoy your videos but prefer your hair shorter and more groomed Audrey (just saying)
