I am so inspired by Audrey's idea that if we buy quality articles and only buy it when we truly love it, we can make use of it for many years. Such a long-term commitment and relationship to my closet actually make me feel much more content than keep rotating something new.

I have a budget of $8/week to go thrifting. I have found amazing quality pieces, still get to shop, and no more guilt!
The piano piece at the beginning is Clair de Lune by Debussy. It's absolutely beautiful so I learnt it during lockdown! It fits Audrey's vibe so much! Xx

Hi, Audrey. Always delighted when you publish a new video! Regarding wearing leisure wear constantly, I found a solution early in the pandemic that works for me. I’m retired, no Zoom meetings, and I wear my leisure work clothes for house and garden until late afternoon. Then I get “cleaned up” and change into an outfit I might wear to go out, maybe for lunch or shopping. Dressing for dinner, so to speak, but not really dressed up. This habit, so simple, has been very beneficial to my mental health and helped me identify what needs to be removed from or added to my wardrobe. ❤️
I love how you take time and set the mood for videos with beautiful scenery and music, it makes the whole experience of viewing your videos so much better
Anyone else caught yourself watching strangers and paying attention to how they apply things that Audrey teaches on her channel? I find it some much fun. Colour palettes, accents on all black outfits, accessories. Watching someone walk down the street and thinking how their outfit could look so much better if they just had a structured bag 😁 Please tell me I'm not the only one

My favourites on you were the Converse and the green floral skirt, especially together! Just like the "other" Audrey, you have a gamine essence, and the Converse brings out that playful and youthful side, which our beloved Audrey Hepburn also had. The femininity of green floral balances the more masculine look of the Converse so beautifully. Also I loved the green purse with the camel coat--green with camel is such a gorgeous fall colour combo! 🍂🍂🍂🍂
I’m glad to see the Converse. You are young enough to be trendy. I have a low top pair in white leather so they are a little bit more subdued for my age (67) but I still get a little trendy and comfort.

Funny, this is how I used to dress when I lived in Germany when I was younger, except for the converse, lol. I always gravitated more toward loafers. Very cute!! 🌸

I like your approach to creating a capsule wardrobe: purposeful and measured, but not restrictive. The colors you chose are so serene and beautiful! For me, I would have to add some splashes of burgundy and/or plum. I can't live without my blue-reds! And then, I'd probably have to either switch the camel coat for a light gray one, or add it as an alternative for when I wear an outfit with lots of mulberry or blue-tinged reds. My capsule color palette for the colder months is navy, black, gray, white, with deep teal and berry colors as accents. (BTW--I haven't pulled out my fall clothes yet, but I'm looking at my nails right now and noticed that I'm already wearing a very autumnal shade of polish that changes from wine to eggplant depending on the angle one is looking at it...guess my subconscious was telling me it's time to make the seasonal switch when I picked this color from my stash!)
These look so different, it is tough to comprehend that they are all from the same set! This will take a lot of conscious effort but it is nice to know it is achievable. And that is actually does look very very different.
I love the outfits you created in your capsule. But for my taste I would replace the Converse shoes with something else, like a brown Loafer. Love your style and insights, trying to implement some of it myself.

Just my personal opinion, but I can’t say that I like the addition of the converses. Seems to be at odds with your style (especially, when paired with one of your silk scarves). Makes you look a bit juvenile... Everything else looks super cosy and great for autumn 🥰

I feel this year I lost interest in clothes 😕. Plus the weather in Mexico City is bipolar...! You go out in a summer dress because the weather allows it, and then there’s a storm and gets really cold. Last year we did not have winter, I did not need any coats and sweaters. I just used my 10 year old leather biker jacket. I still appreciate all your great tips!

I feel this year I lost interest in clothes 😕.
Plus the weather in Mexico City is bipolar...! You go out in a summer dress because the weather allows it, and then there’s a storm and gets really cold.
Last year we did not have winter, I did not need any coats and sweaters. I just used my 10 year old leather biker jacket.
