A quick question re/ your training - do you feel that you could reach your target gains just through roadwork? Reason I ask is I genuinely dislike home trainers, I have one, apparently it's a pretty decent one too, but right now I have zero interest in using it & would always rather venture out on the road regardless of the weather. So without giving away the secrets you're paying for - do you reckon you can get the same or similar bang for your buck purely off road work?
@@chokehanson1830 hey thanks for the message…. The majority of my training at the moment is on the road. The session I did on the trainer was a bit of a one off, especially for this time of year. Like you I hate the indoor trainer, BUT they are great if you are time crunched as you can get a really good quality session in ( without traffic, variations in terrain, junctions and other distractions ) in a short period of time… But to your point, if you don’t mind going out in crap weather and have the time ( especially in winter when daylight hours are limited… ) yes absolutely you can get the same result only training outdoors…

@@daveridesagain thought about swapping them out for a slower heavier set.??Use the faster ones for the event. Amazing uplift and boost all round
