I got so nervous when it was getting close to the end of the video and you still had not shown where the actual adjustment was, and then I saw that you showed it, thank you my dude, you are the best. Also, I had to turn mine clockwise in order to raise the cold idle rpms.
Good video. To let everyone one. Before adjusting your idle speeds make sure your throttle cable is right first. Without the throttle cable being adjusted properly it will throw off the fast and warm idle. I figured out the hard way. Had my new 2005 gsxr 1000 around 3 months now and learning everything on my own. Just a bit of helpful advice that I don't see anyone mentioning

what steps are required to make sure the throttle cable is right first?
how do you know when the cable is right?

Pro tip: there is a metal rod under the pillion seat that is supplied with the bike to prop up the tank.
that is supplied 'with a new bike' to prop up the tank
hahaha, i've noticed that so many people don't know about this
How can you start it without the clutch???
@CP3540 How?
These bikes don’t require the clutch to start
Still not clear bro...We can't see the screw..having the same problem
So how do I raise the fast idle screw for warm up my bike I have the same one it use to idle at 15 wen it was warming up now it doesn't
does anyone know the name or part number of the start up idle screw i broke mine and cannot find a replacement
Bumble Bee!
Estou com um problema na minha gsx. Ela fica estourando e falhando , quando trisco no acelerador ela dispara aceleraçao sozinha.
what is the recomendable rpms when you start the bike?? thanks
I believe manual says 1500rpm when you start the bike. After warming up it should be 1200rpm.
+626sam thanks for your help, still have this bike??
Yes still have the bike and enjoying her but would like to get a new Gsxr soon.
+626sam I have the same bike as yours, and I like it so much, I been thinking to get an r1 but suzuki's are faster, where you from??
what does the little one behind it do?
That would adjust the idle speed of your bike once it's up to operating temps.
This is way way way too complexed ,,,, 2000 GSX R750 IDLE knob in on the left side easy to access ...removing the Tank, Seat something is wrong here
I was just thinking that with mine...I was looking for the switch. I have a 00 and I don't have to any of this to adjust idle.
Just a thought 💭 maybe Susuki redesigned the newer models 🤣
